Binge eating. Gotta love it. Gotta hate it. It is so hard to control. But what I think really kills a healthy lifestyle is the extra 150 calories a day that add up to a pound or two a month and sneak up on you, until you look in the mirror and shout "what happened to me?" It sounds like you have things under control. Good Luck. |

| You're right. For most people, the pounds lost by dieting is short term. They gain it back after they have met their goal, if they are lucky enough to do so. However, a lifelong commitment to reasonable portions and exersize does work long term, and calorie counting is a great way to control portions. Keep up the good work. | |||

| It's a lonely forum because there are not many of us. I met my goal of losing 40 pounds over a year ago, and I have maintained my weight within a few pounds of 175 since then. So I guess I'm a maintainer, but.....I want to lose ten more pounds in the next six months. I guess I can be in two catsgories at once, kind of calorie counting split personality. | |||
