Hey............

I binged tonight......................it really stinks. My stomach doesn't hurt, and I'm tempted to keep eating because that's when I feel satisfaction: when I can't possibly eat another bite. I probably ate 2800-3000 calories today. It's been really really hard. I'm disappointed in myself (again).

I'm tired of being disappointed. :( SIGH. Well, let's be honest about the unplanned items:

  • two shots at dinner
  • bread and butter
  • the rest of my friend's cheesecake
Then we came home:

  • 2? 3? Mallomars
  • 4 pieces of Godiva chocolate
  • 2 bowls of cereal
  • 2 bowls of ice cream with sprinkles and coconut on top
  • 6-8 cups of buttered popcorn with powdered sugar on top (it's weird, but good)
  • 2 Trader Joe's chocolate-covered raspberry sticks
  • 2 rice cakes with peanut butter on top
I really, really want to be a wimp and lie in bed and cry about this and say, "I have no control over this!!!!!!! I can't do it!!!!!! I'm fat! Ugly!" But I'm not. I'm not any of those things. There's so much more to me than how I eat, and I need to get past this.

But for now......bed calls...........

I eat so much broccoli, I think I'm going to sprout green hair or something at one point. I LOVE broccoli. Definitely a staple of my diet, and I try to incorporate it wherever I can. Helps me feel full.

Nothing happened to me. :) I took Tri-Cyclen Lo for over a year at one point, and Nuva-Ring for half a year or a year.

Y'know, I really liked Uli's line. She hadn't impressed me up until that last episode. I was really rooting for Michael; then I saw his final line coming down the runway and thought, "What was he THINKING?!"

Plus, it started to seem like everyone loved Michael. So it wasn't cool anymore. Hahahaha.

AAAAAAAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I binged tonight. GOSH DARN IT! So frustrating. I'm going to blame it on the trip to the winery. At least I didn't hit up the drive-through, even though I was tempted.

Jeez.

Welcome aboard, ydoidothis. The first step is honesty with ourselves about what we're eating. :)

I did it. I stopped myself from binging tonight. I don't know how. I got to 1,777 calories, and I said no more. It was hard. So today is my 7th binge-free day!

Phew.

I've been good about exercising regularly since I was 15 years old, and I never was able to lose weight until I started watching what I eat. I hate to say it, but you might have to cut a few calories! Hey, it doesn't have to be anything huge -- maybe 250? Try it, see what happens. :)

What's your current intake/output?

*hugs united* Don't worry, girlie. The hardest thing to do is break the binge, you're right. It's a feedback loop that keeps perpetuating itself. But read what you wrote -- this week has been particularly tough. And that's okay! So, let's get back on track next week. Or today. Breaking that cycle one day earlier is a good start. :) You're doing great.

Today's my.....6th binge-free day! Whoa. That's cool. I think Thursdays are the hardest for me, and yesterday was no exception. It's the end of the week and also my official weigh-in. Definitely the day that's furthest away from next week's weigh-in, so I always feel like I should treat myself or something. :-\

Instead of binging, I had two pieces of chocolate that I hadn't planned (100 calories). I was SO close, but I didn't want to give in. So I didn't! Let's hope the rest of this weekend goes well. My goal is to not binge, and plan a maintenance day if I need to. "Plan" is the key word here: no frantic cupboard searches or trips to the grocery store. There.

Happy Friday the 13th everyone!

Spiders don't bug me.

Nor do snakes, rats, moths, yadda yadda.

No. But if there's a cockroach in the region, I go completely "girlie". In fact, there was a HUGE one that managed to get into my apartment two or three nights ago. I actually debated knocking on my neighbor's door to make him smack it.

I faced my fear, though! Screaming bloody murder the entire time. Cockroaches aren't the type of animal I'd like to catch and release. But everything else is treated fairly. I guess I'm biased...sorry cockroaches!!! I can't help that you're so gross and ugly!!

(They probably think the same about me.)

But I digress. ;)

Yeah, reunion was kind of weird. What was up with Vincent freaking out about his laundry??? Talk about high-maintenance!

OKAY! So, who does everyone think is going to win?

My prediction: Michael. Everyone loves him, and I'm part of that crowd.

Do you guys think that Jeffrey cheated?

I'm in the Midwest! They don't ship 'em out here until the cold weather hits, otherwise the chocolate melts! I think there's a store that might have them...I'm going to look...it's a little out of my way, but their website said the cookies would be there. I better not be disappointed. ;)

jenne, hang in there...try to keep your head on straight and a stiff upper lip. It's good that you're talking with your therapist during such a hard time!

I've been thinking about scheduling an appointment with my therapist, but I keep thinking, "it's not so bad." Then night time will hit and I'll wonder why I haven't called her yet...

I was VERY close to binging last night. I was at my best friend's house and I wanted something sweet. She gave me a dark chocolate Godiva bar (250 cals). It was SO good...and I wanted cookies after that...but somehow I managed to stop, and ended up with 1599 calories for yesterday.

Today I'm having 1500 calories, hopefully. I'm hoping I don't binge. I still feel out of control for some reason. I decided to have two bowls of cereal this morning because I feel so hungry! What's the DEAL? Argh.

*yawns* Grumble.

Thank GOODNESS it's Friday!!
