| Unfortunately, I began dieting in grade six. I had a low self esteem and I was slightly overweight. I do believe it is led me to where I am now, borderline eating disordered and no self esteem. I agree, people as young as I was should not diet. They should wait until their bodies have stopped growing before they determine if a diet is right for them. | |||

| My relatives have lived in Canada since before World War 1. I am of Scottish and Welsh decent. People say I still sound very slightly Scottish though, isn't that crazy? My friend's sister met me for the first time and when I left, she asked my friend if I was from Scotland. Of course, my friend said very distantly and told me the next day! I am very proud of my roots. | |||

I'm so addicted, it's not even funny! PS, I love cats too! My two cats weigh about 8lbs each. So far I've lost the equivalent of both my cats! Haha! |

| klecot - I was sitting outside during my supper break at work last night and the sky went from blue to black in less then 2 minutes. Boy was it scary!! The wind was pretty intense. It didn't rain where I was, but it was sure windy and cloudy. As I was driving home later that night, you could see lightning light the entire sky the whole ride home. Pretty scary! Lots of branches down and power outages around this area. But yes, it did break the heat quite well. :)
supersized - I'm not a big fan of Toronto's underground either. Too dingey and stuffy and too many people. I have reactive airway disease (similar to asthma) so the stuffiness and crowds get to me. I do enjoy the fast speed and ease of Toronto's metro though! It sure beats driving. |

| Sorry about the bold. I didn't know you weren't allowed to do that. SORRY! :( I usually drink 1/2 a bottle a day during work. I work in a hot kitchen so I sweat a lot and I'm constantly running around. It helps me say on my toes and not feel faint. | |||

| Thanks for the help guys. It's nice to know I'm not the only one doing this. Clairmiles, I don't do it every day. I only do it about once a week or so, but when I do C and S, I do a lot! Not as far as 100 cookies, but I'll go through 4 or 5 cookies by C and S. I realize that some calories are absorbed through saliva and my mouth, but isn't it better to only absorb some than all? If I didn't C and S, I'd eat all of those calories for sure. I've struggled with eating habits for my entire life. Sometimes I have anorexic tendancies where I'll restrict my calories a lot, and then other times I'm a compulsive over eater. I don't have severe tendancies that would greatly affect my health, it's just something that I've always had to deal with. | |||

| I usually gain about 2lbs a few days before and then during I'm always 4lbs heavier than normal. Don't worry though! It'll go away soon! :) | |||

Thanks for the pointers! It was very kind of you! :) I recently had a checkup with my doctor (about a month ago) and she said all my "bodily functions" were excellent. My blood pressure was better than ever, my blood sugar level was normal and I had enough vitamins and calcium and all that jazz. | Thanks! :) I'm 5'5 and I weigh 148lbs. Eek! I think I have a lot of muscle, but I want to get into a healthy BMI. I've promised myself I won't go below 140lbs. That's my stopping point. I just want to get rid of my belly pooch and thunder thighs. I love this site because it suddenly makes me aware of everything I put in my mouth. Some days I can eat SO much and not even be aware of it. Now I really know how badly I used to eat. :S | |||
