I found this one on Hungry Girl a while back and LOVE it!  It only makes one serving so you can't go overboard and it tastes really good.  After you mix it, it doesn't look like there's much but it rises a lot.  I've also doubled the recipe so that it'd fill a regular sized mug.  And that's still only 246 calories.

Hi!  I was just checking in to see my percentage and noticed that my weight hadn't been updated.  I could have sworn that I posted on Friday but after going through all of the posts three times, I can clearly see that I didn't!  :)  Where is my mind?? lol

I love coconut rum so I mix it with diet coke or about any flavor of crystal light.  I'm not a big whiskey drinker but I'm sure jd & diet coke would be somewhat similar to my rum and diet coke.  I also like vodka mixed with the red grapefruit crystal light, you can barely taste the alcohol at all.  Have a great time at the bbq and try not to stress so much that you don't enjoy yourself!  :)

I like the name Sunny for the morning sunrise.  Also Breezy, Starla & Ellie, though there's no ties to morning time, I just think they are cute names for a puppy.  :)

Aquafina just came out with a new flavored water, Alive.  They have a peach mango one that has 25 calories a bottle and 5 grams of fiber.  I keep them on hand for when I'm at the low end on my daily requirements.  Also, pears are high in fiber and fairly cheap right now and the La Tortilla Factory tortillas have 13 grams of fiber and I think around 50-80 calories.  After reading this the above posts I'm definitely checking out flax seed though.  I try to get between 25-35 a day, it helps a ton in my weight loss, I feel fuller from high fiber foods so it's WAY easier to stay under my calorie goal.  Good luck!

I know where you're at and definitely think the alcohol can play a big role.   I have gone a little over a week without drinking and am feeling great!  It hasn't been easy but when you see the amount of healthy food you get in place of the liquor it helps change your perspective.  Also, for the first time in 6 months the scale is going DOWN!  :)  I'm not saying that I'm never going to drink again, I just felt like I was putting so much effort into the weightloss, yet sabatoging myself by drinking lots of calories/then snacking when buzzed that it needed to stop until I have a better handle on things.

Also, I agree with the others, if you're working really hard at the gym you should definitely be eating more calories. 

You can do this!  It'll be worth it!  Hang in there!

I've just started making tofu and absolutely LOVE it now.  Here is a recipe I made a couple of nights ago that even my kids ate.

I did make a few substitutions.  I used already made spaghetti sauce instead of the tomato sauce mixture and used low fat cheese in place of regular.   I also followed the first reviewers (TORONTOIS) suggestion on how to prepare the tofu for this recipe.  It was a little messy but soooo worth the end result.

Good luck!  You can do this!  I've been around cc on and off for a couple of years and LOVE it!  I'm currently getting back into the swing of things and hope to lose 30+ pounds.  I'll add you and cheer you on!  Congratulations on taking control of your life, it's an awesome feeling!  :)

That used to happen to me A LOT and it is SUPER painful!  I was told two things, first to eat more bananas or foods rich in potassium.  Second was that right when you feel the pain coming on to point your toes upward, or flex your foot so its at a 90 degree angle to your leg, it stops mine right away everytime now.  A useful bit of advice that I wish I had gotten much sooner!  :)  Hope these help!

Peacelovehominy, that sounds good to me!  Whatever makes it easier to keep track of is a good idea.  What day were you thinking of having us post our weekly totals?  I'm not familiar with the "mission:run around the world thread"...so as a whole we try to reach 8760 hours.  And then once we do would the challenge be over??  Sorry about all of the questions, lol!

I'd love to join also!  I need some motivation!

So far I've done 30 minutes of yoga, Sunday, Monday and Today, so 90 minutes total.  Looks like I'm going to have to step up my game a little!  :)

EDIT:  I managed to get 15 minutes of walking and another 10 minutes of calisthenics in today!  This thread was exactly what I was needing!  Thanks again!

My all time favorite is grilled halibut with a mango jalepeno salsa, which is just diced up mango and jalepeno and maybe some fresh cilantro.  My second favorite which is a bit more fattening is Broiled Tilapia Parmesan.  The recipe can be tweaked a little to make it a little healthier, using light substitutes for the full fat ingredients, it is sooo good!
