Try roasting it - it definetly tastes best that way (I think). Lightly coat w/olive oil spray, salt, and pepper. spread out on a cookie sheet, cook on 400 for 15-20 minutes. I HATE it canned, but I LOVE fresh roasted, fresh steamed... |

Here you go! I plan to make it TONIGHT!! Guac made w/ asparagus instead of avocado. I use my own home-made salsa whenever possible! Also, you could sub regular onions for green onions if you want. 24 spears asparagus, chopped 1/2 cup salsa 1 tbsp cilantro 2 cloves garlic 4 green onions, sliced Directions

| Fitness | Don't ever mix vanilla whey protein..... | May 19 2008 16:46 (UTC) |

I haven't had the vanilla yet - I use the double chocolate whey protein and mix with vanilla yogurt (non-fat), 1/2 frozen banana, 1/2 c. frozen blueberries, 1/2 c. frozen strawberries, and a splash of skim milk to make the blender work! I love it, but I think that next time I'll get the vanilla... Any other recipes for these things? I am thinking of using them for meal replacements for dinner (mix some salmon in maybe)? LOL Gross, jk. |

| Have you tried like cortaid?
Maybe see your doc for a prescription steroid cream - that should help - and you really, really need to put your hair up! I have the same problem, but its usually when I change conditioners - if I dont use the cheap ole' suave, I end up with a nasty rash around my hairline and between my shoulder blades!! |

| I am in Michigan - and I paid $3.99/lb yesterday. The only reason I bought it is because my husband won on an instant lottery ticke (a whopping 6 dollars) and he gave it to me to cash in - so I didn't feel so bad spending the money on it.
I am going to look into the frozen stuff - it wont be as good - but I still love it! |

| Usually, I get about 1600 with exercise - 1300 w/out.
C-C recommended 1600. I'll stick with it - It just amazes me How EASY it is to put on, and how HARD it is to take off. Thanks everyone for your input - I feel a tad bit better. |

| Here's what I eat typically...
breakfast: Reduced fat peanut butter (1tbs), 1 tbs grape jam, 2 slices of five grain lite bread (totals 70 cals for two slices). Lunch : same bread, healthy choice lunch meat (60 cals) 1 tsp honey mustard, 1 can healthy choice lower sodium soup dinner: boneless/skinless chicken breast pan fried in 1 tsp olive oil - 1 cup frozen broccolli or 10 asparagus spears snacks - oreo thin crisps or kudos bar nite time snake - low fat ice cream sandwich (140 cals). Sodim could be better, but its not bad. I drink about 10-12 8 oz glasses of water daily. I am 35, 5'6", 184 lbs. I have polycystic ovaries and high cholesterol, but other than that, healthy. I work out 5 days for 40-50 minues each day doing the Firm tapes, varying between weights and cardio/aerobics. My cloths feel a LITTLE better, but come on - I want to be 135 - 140 and buff, not 185 and built! Thanks all for your input. |

| As an EX WW member, I concur.
I lost 70 lbs back in 02-03 on the points program - and after having a son in 04, I have gained it all back - and now I am learning that just because one of the "Smart Ones" meals is called "Smart", doesnt really mean Jack SH^%. LOL - long live C-C! |

| Thanks all - I'll resist the urge - I am feeling kinda heart burny right now and bloated - and all I had was a fruit & yogurt Parfait... PS - I really hate sounding so needy, but if I wouldn't have posted, then I'd be knee deep in a milky way right now.... And I do have family members, but they are all busy as well. My mom is 64 and works at a factory 6 days a week. My inlaws are, well, nutz, so they are'nt any help. Other than that, its just us! Having a child later in life does have its setbacks... but I sure love him! |

| Well - it could possilby be the sodium - I'll try to avoid the LC's for a while - I do love them cuz they are SO SO convenient. I dont have much time (Here comes sob story) becasue of the 2.5 year old, a full time job here at work, and a husband that, for lack of better phrasing, doesnt do squat (he suffered a closed-head injury a couple years ago and doesnt work or anything)...
AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I need a break, or a nanny, or to hit the lotto, or to..... I don't know what!!! Thanks for the advice - it will be taken! |
