Hey Pink, and others! I'm back.

I've been binging since last night, I stayed up all night (not binging all night) I've eaten almost 3,000 calories? Yuck yuck.

How do you recover from a binge?

Alright. To answer your question, yes you do binge after restricting. It's your bodies way of trying to get the energy and nutrients it needs.

I also read in a magazine today that people binge because in the hunter-gather times, if you didn't stuff your face, it was most likely you weren't going to eat again for a long time. Which kind of explains some things. Also, I tend to overeat due to my emotions.

I need to learn to listen to my body and eat when I'm hungry, stop when I'm satisfied.

I'm glad you started this. My eating disorder is still lingering after, 1 year? Yeah, I think it's been a year. It went from Anorexia (never diagnosed, but I had the BMI & lost my period) to Complusive Exercising, and now it's complusive eating and binging.

All we need is tons of support. Thanks for this thread!

I'm a binger.

It is horrible, once I start I can't stop until I'm so full.

It is really making me depressed. I got out of the binging for a few weeks but it's coming back.

You do they suggest to eat saltines but keep the sodium low?

Weird!

Hmm, the Sacred Heart Diet.

It's this stupid ass diet. I didn't follow it for long.

The only thing that actually work is healthy eating, with foods I want in moderation, and exercise!

I had (still have the thoughts, sometimes) an eating disorder.

Let me tell you, it was hell on freaking earth. I would CRY everyday, because I was too skinny and I miserable. I'm so glad I'm better now. It's not something that should be joked about or taken lightly. Most people judge, but will never know the pain and agony behind it.

I weigh myself 2 times a day. In the morning and before the gym. It's just to see how much I gain/lose during the day.

I don't take it seriously unless I weigh less in the morning.

Eat plenty of nuts. I really need to cut out walnuts because they are slowing my weight loss progress.

I actually had a tofu scramble this morning, it was good!

I don't think this is a website where we support your eating disorder.

You need to seek help.

Try to avoid the kitchen. Maybe take a quick pick-me-up nap and you'll feel refreshed. Also, try drinking some water.

I agree with what a lot of others had said. Ask your husband to make sure you don't go in for the baked goods or candy. I know I'm still struggling with losing the sweets.

My best advice to crave a sweet tooth (like myself) or a craving is eat something really sour, that will surprise your taste buds. My suggestions mixed frozen berries, very sour and low in calories (60 calories a cup)
