We're currently trying to potty train my little brother, he's three and a half and stickers seem to work kind of....but only if you consistently remember the stickers. Plus everytime he goes potty we clap and such. It's when we aren't giving him as much attention when he slacks off. Consistency is key.

something that is extremely tasty is Bacardi Razz and Coke with Lime....I'm not too sure how it would taste with Diet Coke and Lime, but it's pretty damn tasty.

I do The Firm, it works a lot of different areas and gets you sweating everytime. It comes with a "fanny lifter" which is basically two plastic boxes you stand up and down on, and a "sculpting stick" which comes apart so that you can have two small weights, or a smaller stick that still works your arms. It's a great workout and really helps me when I do it right after I eat my first meal. I'm hoping that as soon as school starts back again I'll be able to do it around 6 am, but I'm not sure if that will be possible. *crosses fingers.* If not, I'm hoping I'll be able to do it after school.

I totally agree with defrog! The fact that he is so flawed and you still are rooting for him most of the time boggles me. There are of course points where I wanted to bash his head in, but it was so great anyways! Anyone who hasn't read it really should. It really gives in great insight to what people in Afghanistan have had to go through. I can't wait for the movie either! It's being directed by Marc Forster who also directed "Finding Neverland" and "Monster's Ball." He did amazing work on those two so I can imagine he'll do just the same with The Kite Runner.

The book is about two kids that grew up in Afghanistan, Amir is the older of the two and is very rich, and then Hassan who is the youngest and Amir's servant in a sense. Hassan would die for Amir, but Amir doesn't feel the same way. There is this huge tradition in Afghanistan where the children kite fight and work to be the last kite left in the air. Well, when Amir wins, Hassan goes to get the kite from him and something (I won't say what.) happens to him that Amir witnesses but says nothing about it. He spends the rest of his life trying to overcome what he did. It's fabulous! There's more to it, but it's hard to really explain.

What I find that helps me is to drink like two glasses of milk at night. I actually lost weight when I did that last night. It didn't seem to hurt so much, plus I had the milk spread out.

I've felt the same way for a long time. I've always been over weight, the last time I was my goal weight I was probably in 5th grade, still overweight for my age and height. But....I don't know, something about this time I feel like it will actually happen. I'm more committed than I've ever been to a diet. I won't stray.

Well, today I discovered that The Producers is a much better CD for me to walk to than Rent. This is because I have this really weird compulsion to sing to every female part in the musicals that I listen to. Well, there are less female parts in The Producers so that gives me several songs where I'm just "ooing" or not saying anything at all.
