| Health & Support | What kind of medical specialist should I see about my knees? Should I see a specialist at all? | May 08 2009 19:43 (UTC) |

I started running a few years ago and did not think I was going to be able to continue due to terrible knee pain. I did two things:
It probably would not be a bad idea to go see your GP but these things won't hurt! Here is a website where you can order the trigosamine: www.trigosamine.com. I have ordered from them several times because you can get it much cheaper than you can in the drug stores. The only place I have found it so far in a store is in a Rite Aid drug store. $30 for a months supply. (sometimes this site is a bit slow to deliver, so you may want to buy a starter from your local pharmacy) I have had no problems with it, and most folks I have told about it say the same, but there are some that can't tolerate it. Good Luck!

| Health & Support | im scared!!!! resting heart rate? | Mar 02 2009 21:46 (UTC) |

Yes, that resting heart rate is extremely low. I would recommend you go see your physician as soon as possible. Did they take your blood pressure by chance? A normal bp is around 120/80, and there are many factors that can change this and your resting heart rate, age, activity level, etc. I'm 49 and fairly active and my resting heart rate is 65. Please go see a doctor soon. |

| Hmmm....not an expert, but seems to me it wouldn't hurt you to eat just a little of his dish since he is preparing is especially for you. | |||
