You can do why shows that involve sex, voilence, etc do better in the ratings than shows that otherwise don't (that's a generalistic comment, i know) and how it has evolved.  You can show this growing trend and relate it to how Americans themselves are changing.  Are our standards as a whole diminishing or is it simply natural evolution?  Can you tie events, external from television/media, to the sudden urge and acceptance of violence?

hmmm.  i love m'oatmeal plain, darl'in.  :)  If i must add something, i pick savory over sweet.  You'd be suprised what a pince of salt does for it.  YUM.  i also like some plain yogurt on there (the thick greek kind).  I think that might sound weird...but like it!  lol.

I bloat SO FREAKING MUCH when i eat chinese food.

I can never snack.  I must have three whole meals other wise i eat eveything in site.

I should save cals for the night when i have painful cravings for crackers and apples.

eclipse mints have maved my cals for than many times.

gum is my friend.

wearing tigheter-than-normal-clothes for holiday dinners help because they stop you from over OVER eating.  :) 

Plateaus suck.

heeeeeeeelp someone.  THIS FREAKING PLATEAU IS DRVING ME INSANE.  I've tried upping the cals for a few days.  didn't help.  My body doesn't care if i over or under eat--IT WON'T DO ANYTHING!  Any advice?

I was the first one my gay friend came out to.  We went to the same middle school and we kept in touch through e-mail.  He just randomly told me one day becuase he said he trusted me.  I coudn't beleive i was the first one.  It was one of the most touching things that has ever happened to me.

i just caved, lol.  I needed it anyway.  My mom had made her gingerbread for her bookgroup and there was left over.  Sometimes i just need the sugar.  :)

count me in!  I'm 15, 5'2 and 117 pounds (but it totally changes depending on water and the time of day).  I want to drop the extra 7 for a short term goal and probably down to 100 for long term.  I'm at a HUGE plateau that i haven't been able to shake for WEEKS.  It's so frustrating i really need this.  thanks for the awesome post!

I think the one for children is totally off.  I'm 15 years old and 5'2 and it said that if i'm sedentary (which i am) that i should be eating 1700+.  CC says my maintinance is 1500!  lol, i trust CC.  but thanks for looking up sites for us!

I want to join!  count me in!  :)

I'm at around 120 (i fluctuate) and want to get down to 100-110 again.  I'm 5'2 and currently go to highshool...prom is coming up really soon and i want to look smokin!  lol.  I eat anywhere from 1200-1500 cals a day because i'm mostly sedentary.

lol, i sometimes watch tv on mine.  :)  sitting on it when you're on the computer helps to improve your balance and keep your body having to adjust (you burn more cals than you think).  :)  and they're so fun and squishy!

I couldn't live without my torillas, bread (with peanutbutter), pasta, and rice!  YUUUMMY.  I practically live off carbs (in the form of bread and fruit) and yogurt.  :)  my favs.

LOL, i weigh more in the morning too.  I think it's because i tend to eat before i go to bed.  like carrots or something.  It just helps me sleep.  Personally, i weigh myself when I feel lightest.  :)  It works for me, but most people pick a time of day and stick to it.

I think it's the same.  some might say that because of the cold, bodies naturally store more fat, but i don't think so.  Not that i'm an expert, but i think the reason that most people gain in the winter is that we're just more in the mood for food.  Warm hot coco, soups, dense breads, cakes, meat, etc.  Plus, there isn't the idea of swimsuits looming over us at every moment.  :)  Thats just my humble opinion.  I'd like to hear other input though!
