| Weight Loss | Too much yoghurt- is there such a thing? | Oct 29 2006 14:42 (UTC) |

| I've been using yogurt in place of milk on oatmeal...got that idea from the Perricone Diet...anyway, I like it. Yogurt is my dessert...when I'm eating healthy. I love Yoplait Whips, even though those are like 160 calories a pot, so you have to watch it. | |||

| I was really happy with the way I looked before I gained 60 lbs.!! not then of course....this is in retrospect...yeah I would be really happy looking like that again I don't mind thin for women as long as there is some shape there....I hate that really skinny legged no butt with big boobs look.
In guys big shoulders, good arms, but at my age I don't expect them to have washboardy abs or anything....that reminds me too much of my sons...LOL! I'm pretty happy with my husband little bit of a belly, but not too much and he still has those big ole arms and shoulders |

| That I can tell you, it's actually really simple.... cut the squash in half and get rid of the seeds and stuff....then just stab it a couple of times with a knife or fork put it into a baking dish with just a little bit of water, and cover it. you can either bake it at 350 for about an hour or microwave it for 15 - 20 minutes. |

| ok you may have a weight problem, but this guys an idiot...personally I'd rather be fat and be able to lose the weight than stupid with no chance of a brain transplant on the horizon! | |||
| The Lounge | So how many times in one evening should one have to call the police on one's neighbors? | Oct 28 2006 17:07 (UTC) |

| Ahh yes neighborhood problems aren't they wonderful??
We live in a semi rural area, there are only 3 houses on what you would call my block I guess. Two of these houses we own.....anyway Across the street is a large lot with a creek. Every stupid a$$ in town seems to think it's ok to drive over there and do doughnuts!! At all hours of the day and night! My 10 year old daughter can't even ride her bike out there safely any more....and I'm always expecting to wake up to find my cat dead as she hangs out over there. My husband followed a couple of guys one day after they slung gravel all over our boat and other vehicles, and asked them how they'd like it if he started hauling a$$ up and down their street and slinging dirt all over the place. I've called the cops several times, but it's difficult for them to actually catch the people. Our plan at this point is to get a bunch of big rocks and set them out all over the field. Hopefully they'll rip out the underside of their damned vehicles! I honestly don't give a crap if they land in the creek or get hurt. |

| Hi Linda,
I'm a stay at home mom now too. I just turned 43 and have 4 kids...two of which are still in school. I'm 5'4 and weigh...I think it was 193. I just finished a lovely binge and put 5 of the 30 lbs I'd lost back on. I did the WW points thing as well and just couldn't stand going to the meetings! I do the stationary bike and really like it as walking was really hurting my knee. Anyway....welcome!! Hope to chat with you soon! Laura |

| Oy!!
United, I'm doing a lot of that dusting off stuff lately!! I'm a sweet then salty nut too....which means my eating is never ending!! I don't know what the heck my problem is!! I think part of it is hormonal because I've been so emotional lately (I think it's called peri-menopause or something). That soup idea is one of my favorite tricks too! As long as I choose to eat that instead of something not so good. Cheese is one of my biggest struggles too...oh heck right now everything is a big struggle! We carved pumpkins last night so who do you think ate the bulk of the seeds after we roasted them?? Some of the stuff I eat I'm not even sure how to log because I make up my own evil snacks!! Someone mentioned nachos...I did those a couple of weeks back and then had no idea how to log them! I put chips, a can of nacho cheese soup with only half the liquid, a can of chili, shredded cheese, home made salsa, avocado, and sour cream on them. I made two big pans of this for a slumber party....anyway, how the heck do you measure that?? |

I use the Cat People deck and have for ....eek...I don't even remember...maybe 15 years? I guess about that long since I'm on my 3rd deck and they seem to like to disappear every 5 years. The Ryder Waite deck seems to be the choice of most beginners, but really it isn't a bad idea just to go browse some and see if anything jumps out at you. The trick is finding what speaks to you...if you find that; you can throw that silly book that comes with the deck right into the trash ; ) |

| One of the biggest problems with King's writings is that there is so much always lost in the translation. There is no way even a mini series can contain everything that's going on....as you all know they tried it with The Stand and it was at least IMO a huge failure | |||

like kicking some boys butt out on the soccer field. Not giving lap dances or pole dances whatever for lunchmoney!! I see nothing wrong with taking your clothes off for a living...have done it myself in the very dim past...but kids need to be kids first not mini adults |
