Keep them in a small cooler if at all possible, they will get mushy if you dont keep them cold. And the oats are uncooked.

Oh i am lifting and i am currently at 2500 calories daily, i dont eat very much red meat (pork chops with all visable fat trimmed, buffalo steak no visable fat, sirloin all visable fat trimmed). I eat a massive amount of chicken (over 10 ounces daily on average). And i eat alot of fish (Tilapia and shrimp mainly). I eat no breads and the only grain i get is 1 cup of all bran extra fiber in the morning. My veggies are as follows- Carrots, Onions, Romaine Lettuce (Not very many but better then nothing :) ) My fruits are Strawberries, Apples, Bananas. I drink low carb light beers every other day (2-3 beers).

I eat alot of meat (Fish specificly) I eat fish every day, anywhere between 8-16 oz of fish. I drink alot of fluids (water, tea, diet soda.) I get over 200 grams of protien a day, less then 200 carbs and around 40 grams of fat. I can give you a rundown of my diet if you would like.

Here is some advice, stop drinking slimfast shakes, they are just loaded with carbs and sugar. Try drinking some met-rx shakes. They are loaded with protien (which will help build/retain muscle) and are of much higher quality then slimfast.

I am a carnivore, i need my meat and 3 OZ is not nearly enough for me for one meal, not to mention a whole day. I am a very picky eater and i hate most vegetables (I just started last month eating ceaser salads, no croutons or dressing) And yes idrink diet soda, not sure why it is considered unhealthy to drink a 0 calroie beverage with very little sodium. I drink water as well and try to get 2 L a day. I am trying to build up muscle and my father has told me that i (you guessed it) need to eat meat. I try my best to eat vegetables and fruits (I love apples, bannanas, papaya, strawberries, blueberrys, rasberrys) I tend to make smoothies with them and non fat yougert. The vegetables i will am willing to eat is corn, carrots, lettice and onions. I will work on trying new vegetables but that will be a very slow process. I take a multivitamin everday and i dont drink alot of alcohol. I have read that you need about 1 gram of protien per pound of body weight for maximum muscle growth and repair "Many bodybuilders, for example, consume over 300g of protein per day" (Bodybuilding.com)
