| The reason why you shouldn't eat cough drops and lozenges as candy is because of the menthol(at least thats the only reason I've heard) If there isn't any menthol in them I wouldn't worry. |

| I tried one of those before but the model doesn't ever come out looking like me. It stores most of the fat on the models stomach, and she comes out with some what okay legs and really thin arms. My stomach isn't really that big, but I have lots of fat in my thighs and arms.... | |||

| The grade is based on the grade of the food you eat, not whether you eat a protien, carb, or fat. If you want an A then try to eat foods that get an A on the grade(you'll see what the grade is next to the food on your food log). I wouldn't pay that much attention to the grade either though, unless your getting a very low grade. Just try to eat as healthy as you can :) |

I was doing winsor pilates for a while. I found it pretty fun and easy and I saw some results pretty quickly(was doing the thigh routine everyday, sometimes twice) My thigh muscles got noticably stronger and harder. Can't see much of a diference in my appearence yet, since I have too much fat to be able to see muscle tone at the moment. I don't think its that great of an exersise for loosing weight though, since it doesn't really raise your heart rate much. Although, gaining muscle mass will help you burn more calories. If done with some cardio you'll probably be pleased with the results :) |

The thing I disagree with most is that you don't have to exersise... You need exersise not only to stay trim, but to have a healthy body. The last maybe 3 or 4 years I haven;t eaten in that much excess, or eaten that much bad stuff, but I haven't gotten hardly any exersise. Its also not very attractive to lose a bunch of weight, but have no muscle tone and a bunch of loose skin because you didn't exersise at all durring the weight loss....I've seen that happen. I dunno. Was this site made by a doctor? Is there any documentation to show all of this stuff is true? Theres alot of bogus stuff on the net.... |

| Gaining weight because of gained muscle mass isn't a bad thing....you'll still look good, if not better......the number on the scale is just a number, doesn't really mean that much. | |||

I try not to compaire myself to celebrities...most of them are unrealistic goals, and alot of them unhealthy goals. I want to be trim(flat stomach, thinner thighs, firmer arms), tonned(but not built), thin(but not too skinny, women should have curves!), and most importantly I want to look healthy. Other then that I don't care much. |

We just recently moved here from Nebraska cause its where my mom grew up, but I was born in Devils Lake, and lived alot of my life in ND untill I was in about 1st grade. |

Lunch: Half a can of starkist tuna, half a cup of cottage cheese, and a serving of wheat thin crackers. A cup of cranberry juice(we are out of bottled water, and the tap water smell like rotten eggs) and about 5 pringles.... Hmm....It feels like I've had more lol....Oh! I also had a cup of coffee with a third of a cup of milk and some stevia. ...and I still have dinner and a couple more snacks. Gonna need to get some veggies in >_> good thing my mom went shopping ^_^(water!! lol) |

| Weight Loss | "Diet" vs. "Lifestyle Change" clarification... | Sep 01 2006 16:14 (UTC) |
4 |
| To me, I think of some of what I'm doing as a diet and temporary, because, once I get to my healthy weight range I'm going to go up to a maitenence amount of calories or stop counting. The lifestyle change was when I stopped buying soda and started trying to drink more water, eating two cookies instead of five and looking at things like skittles as a once in a very blue moon kinda treat, and getting as mush veggies, fruits, greens and non greasy things as I could. The health part isn't temporary, but the losing weight part is, cause I don't want to continue loosing weight forever....once I get to my goal, I'll stop worrying about my weight, and just eat right. So I guess I just look at it as a diet and a lifestyle change both happening together. One to get me where I want to be weight wise, the other to get me where I want to be health wise. Does that make any sence? |

*big hugs* It happens to the best of us! Just try and learn from it. When ever I get the urge to binge or cheat, I just remember how crappy and depressed I fell after. It keeps me from going for the second helping at dinner, and the ice cream in the freezer cause I KNOW I'll hate myself after, and the little bit of pleasure I got from the food won't last longer then while I'm eating it. Hope you feel better...and remeber everyday is a new day. Start again fresh tomorrow and don't look back on this bad week ;) ...and PMS sucks lol |

| Thats just scary o.o I think the media has alot to do with it....but its the parents job to teach their children that media isn't true. I've always been a little afraid that when I have children(years from now) I won't be able to instill the values that I want in them because of all the outside infulences... Thats one reason I've decided when I do have children they won't have a TV or computer in their room untill their 16, so I know what they are seeing and learning....and I would also like to homeschool them durring their Elementary years because those are the most important time for them to learn things. I never ever want to talk about weight loss or being thin infront of my children. I want them to learn healthy eating, and that getting exersise is good and fun, and that they need to take care of their bodies......but I know I personally have struggled alot with the worlds view of beauty, and the media's perception of what is attractive, and I never want my childern to have to deal with it. |

I've been doing the Winsor Pilates Buns and Thigh workout video...I was doing it everyday for a couple weeks (slacked off cause I haven;t been able to get the livingroom to myself in a while...and theres no room in my room) I noticed the muscles in my thighs and butt were firmimg up after the first week....of course its not really visably noticable cause I still have all my fat lol :D ....but my thigh muscles got rock hard o.o The best parts of the video I think were the "fetal thighs" where you lay on your side in a sort of fetal postition...and do bent leg lifts and a few other moves thats hard to explain lol....You could probably find the positions on google maybe? or if you have the extra money buy the dvd. Hope I was of some help. |

I'm actually not very emotional right now. I waited to eat till I calmed down, cause if I eat when I'm upset I get sick...but right now my stomach just feels empty and...well, hungry...I'm not craving anything...theres a whole bad of hershey kisses in the freezer, and i don't even want them. I just want food. I dunno....maybe if I have a big glass of hot lemon water it would fill me up and make me feel more satisfied. |

Wouldn't water only be deadly if you like drank too much to fill you and did't like go to the bathroom? I mean I personally can drink tons water and all it does is make me go to the bathroom more... ...and wouldn't it be kinda hard to drink enough water to hurt you without like making your stomach feel like its going to explode? If I drink a big glass of water I get really full and have to wait a while before eating or drinking...or else I'll be all bloated and uncomfortable. I would think it would be kinda hard to get water poisoning. |

I know exactly what you mean....my boyfriend is like 6 foot 1 and is about 170 - 180.... It makes me feel weird sometimes that he's that much taller then me and weighs like 10 - 20 pounds less... ...but he loves me just the way I am, whether I loose weight or not. He just want me to be healthy :) so I don't really let it bother me. |

I'm not married...and pretty young, but I have heard from reliable sources I'm pretty mature for my age. I would think that if you don't feel like you can relax around her, or that you have to constantly find something to keep her entertained, then maybe you should rethink whether she's the right one for you. My boyfriend and I spend as much time together as we can...its probably a little different because my boyfriend and I are long distance. He visited this past june and spent about a month here. We were together pretty much all day from when we woke up to when we went to bed. We weren't always doing something "together" but we just really enjoyed being near each other. When he's at home, we are both on the computer most of our free time, and when both of us are online we are on mic and/or cam. We usually don't even really have to be having a conversation. We will both work on our own things, and just really enjoy feeling "close" by having the mic on. |

| I love green tea. It makes it alot easier to get all the water I need when i can have some tea too. It also fills me up so I don't want to snack as much. I wouldn't think a suppliment would do the same as actually drinking a cup of green tea though... |

| This last time was my first time going through it while dieting. I gained about 4 - 6 pounds, it went up and down everyday. It lasted about two days after, and I'm not sure how many days before, but now I'm back down to the weight I was before.
