Hi everybody,
I weighted myself this morning, after my first week, and I had lost 4 pounds ;) but I know it's not really all fat but water. Anyway it was nice to see 220 instead of 224. The second week starting tomorrow will be different; first week at work...but I will schedule my exercices for each days and will not find any excuses. It's incredible how motivated I'm actually, after reading all your posts and knowing that everybody is serious about losing weight...Somes of you really stimulated me to focus on exercices and good healthy choices...thank you so much! Well my schedule changed a little bit...was able to walk for 60minutes today...nothing else :( Will do better tomorrow. I think I will come only once a week to add my minutes because the lady who start this thread will go crasy with all the in-put...So have a wonderful week everybody and just stay motivated, together we will do it! |

Hello everyone, I'm Lilou(Linda) and I'm also new at this site. I'm 46 years old, weight 224 pounds at 5'5.5". I happy to join this thread and give somes motivations to other who need it just like me. I also joined the 1000 minutes of exercices Challenge for January + 5km running Challenge by March 2007. I used to do workouts at home in 2005 and was able to lose around 45 pounds but I get bored and stop doing workouts so I decided to buy big toys like ; elliptic, stationary bike, treadmill, tour, step master and now I'm working with them. I started january 1st 2007 at 204 pounds and want to reach my goal of 150 pounds by January 1st 2008, I joined this site and will try to work with all the tools to learn how to choose good food and stay healthy. Even if I thought I was eating well, I was surprise to find out I wasn't...I had a C+ so I'm gonna have to spend some times here to see where I do wrong... |

| Well I forgot a 35minutes of walk with my dogs on January 1st + for today I have made 20 minutes of stationary bike + 20 minutes treadmill for a total of 75 minutes to add to this challenge. So now I made 180 minutes/1000minutes...

Hi everybody,
I saw that you where all young people, not me, I'm 46 and have around 75 pounds to lose but I hope this time it will be the good one...A friend of mine just sent me " Beginner's 5km fun run: 8-week training programme" yesterday (bupa site) and I did start my first day of running yesterday so if you don't have objections, I will like to add myself to this challenge, this way it will gives me more motivation. Europe...I wish I will be able to go there once in my life with my husband. Our children are 14 and 16 years old now so they can manage without us, so maybe in few years we will be able to see this beautiful country. Where are you living actually? Hi everybody, I'm new to this site and want to start the new year with good resolutions. I think it will be really motivated to join you in this challenge. I'm a french person so sometime my english is "bizarre" so please don't be to hard on me ;)
I'm starting today, January 1st 2007 and wish to lose around 75 pounds by next january in 2008. Actually I'm weighting 224 pounds and would like to return to 150 pounds or close to that weight. I'm ready to do exercices and take care of everythings I eat but I also know that I will need motivation. I have a lot of big toys like; stationary bike, eliptic bike, treadmill, tour, stepmaster + 2 bigs dogs who likes to take walks so I really have everything to succed, no excuses at all. So I'm with you to do 1000 minutes this month. |
