I'm in!

I am 5'11" and at 174 and my goal is 160.  I just started this whole CC thing about a week ago, but I am getting married next year and need something to keep me honest(!) because I will cheat.

So, here's to the 170's/160's club!

I used to work out really early in the mornings with a trainer and although my symptoms were not that severe...I did get light-headed.  He scolded me for not eating anything before a workout and then told me to eat some toast, at least one piece, with peanut butter on it...

I have no idea as to whether this is the best thing...but it worked for me...

I have a similar problem...complete boredom after about 10-15 minutes.

Do you belong to a gym? I have found that doing 10 minutes of bike, then 10 min of treadmill, and then 10 of the elliptical makes my cardio routine go so much faster.  If you do belong to a gym...you should try a spin class.  I LOVE them.  You burn loads of calories and you can't stop--unless you don't care that 20 other people will see you walk out early ;-)

I know August (September is just around the corner) is not that great for outdoor walking (I live in DC, so if I can bear it...) but I will go out 4 times a week after lunch and walk for about 20-25 minutes...not a leisurely stroll and not power walking either...just a good swift walk that gets my heart rate up and burns a few calories.

Hope this helps...
