To my understanding, coffee actually DEHYDRATES you

so when drinking it , you need MORE water.

Its a diuretic! But I still get my cup a day in in the morn'! :)

It totally makes sense in some respects that you're noticing it more as you lose weight.

For one, cellulite is the layer of fat beneath the skins surface that clings like it's caught in a net to the mucle tissue, and before when you carried more weight, the fat (which would not have been connected to your muscle tissue) was "free-flowing" shall i say? Haha, and most likely ontop of that layer ABOVE the muscle-tissue-sinewy-cellulite-layer. So as you lost THAT fat you get to see a more deep layer of.. you? haha thus the visible cellulite

But I'm just guessing haha

Another thing that might make sense here is your diet;

even if you're eating healthy and have a defecit you'll lose weight, however, if you're eating high concentrations of fat to get your cals, even from foods that are a healthy source like dairy, olive oil, nut butters, you'll notice it more.. at least I do, even if I'm losing weight.

IMO i'd say WAY TOO MUCH!

they say if you reall need it, like i you're very constipated only have like.. a couple tablespoons a day..

1/2 a cup is huge and could be dangerous to your digestive system...

what are you even using it for?

Mine are 17.5" and i only want to lose a half inch or an inch more. I'm 5'8 and 116 lb. looking to get to 113 very slowly. (I'm athletic, so no worries ;)

thats fine!

Do you thiknk people who don't count calories eat exactly the same amount of cals a day? No chance! Sometimes you eat like.. 500 less, sometmes 500 more etc. It doesnt matter as long as your within range most of the time!

Don't sweat it at all! :)

I know exactly! But I dont know how to do that. I don;t have the authority to ake her go anywhere.. reab/hospital anywhere.

i know only her mom can help her.. but shes not doing it. i know its not my responsibility, but i feel like it is cause her moms not doing anything.

But I know her mom loves her and is scared to lose her. she calls e sometimes crying because she doesnt know what to do.

i dont want her to get taken to foster care. that wont help. she needs mental help. she needs to go to a mental hospital. and the mom needs to know that its only because she needs hep, and its not all her fault.

She'll lie to save him. She's infatuated with him. She defends im like a hawk. You can't even mention is name or she'll bow. She does have bruises I saw some yesterday.. I live in ontario.. i dont know if anything can be done??

shes almost 17. allowed out. mom lets them soke pot n the garage. sleep together. she skips school to just g home and be with him.

she hates me now. she wont even go anywhere away from him for 2 days. i could not take her on vacation.

if i write a letter, shell open it before her mom gets it.

can child services do something? what can they do?

I use a whiteboard and make a calender of the week. Under each day I write down my defecit and at the end of the week add it up and voila! 3,500 averaged over the week!

I ALWAYS stagger my calories to keep my metabolism up. For example, yeaterday my defecit was only 100! But the day before it was 900, so that equals out to 500 cals for both day (the reguar) BUT I get the benefit of keeping my metabolism guessing.

It seems like a hoax to me. I bet you'd bet better results through healty eating and exersize. The ingredients (Butternut (sometimes known as Juglans), Dandelion Root, Boldo and Fucus) are natural, but you can buy dandilion root tea and the like... thoose ingredients are diuretics and wil make you lose mostly water weight.. Then you'l gain it back.. and be upset.

You're WAY better off ding it the (hard) way. And, this way, you'll KEEP it off!

I don't even know! I usually eat very healthy, and not THAT processed.Every now and then I'l have Salted nuts, cereal, canned soup But not often?

Maybe things like bread and meat add up. I eat dempsters 100% whole wheat bread, and it has 10% of daily sodium intake.. I usualy have 2 at a time, with deli turkey or chicken which can easily equal 50% for the meat, thenanother 20% for the bread... hmm I'll have to be more careful

I was in same boat. exactly ... I'm 5'7 and went down to 95. Then binged like CRAZY and gained it all back and then 5 pounds. I got to 125, and felt so depresed and just want to rid myself f this burden. I wanted to live and love again.

Well. It was damn hard. And I'm still not 100% better. More like 65% better. It takes time, and planning and talking.What worked for me was talking to my mom, and planning weekly menus full of healthy nutritious food. No depriving, and most likely no bingeing. Because when you stick to a prelanned meal, an snack etc. you feel like you're accomplishing something. Now, I did slip alot. But I expected that. You have to expect that; you cannot be perfect with recovering. You have to now In your heart that it takes time and pateince.

Get together with your mom or dad or whoever normally cooks meals and plan with them. Give them ideas of waht t make, and then chart it. Mine goes breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, snack. I make sure that I only plan once a week, (sundays) that way I can count all the calories on ONLY that day, then write the meal plan. That way I won't have to count alories during the week because its all preplanned. It less stressfull, more structured, more fun, more easy.. etc.

When I did binge though, I just lifted myself off the ground, had lots of water and ate healthy the rest of the day, WITHOUT compensating with starving. That just leads to bineing again!

hey, I'm hypo too, all I know is regular meals, (every 3 hours, no more) no refined sugar or carbs, protein with every meal/snack. GOOD carbs. whats the one you found? just curious :)

You're young! You should'nt diet! Most peope who do when their young DO gain weight because their depriving their bodies of nutrition an food they need to GROW!

You're still growing. Just focus on healthy eating and exersize, don't count calories, starve yourself, or deprive yourself of anything. Just eat in moderation.

Ohh, ANDDD! You do not need to lose weight! I know it's hard when you;re young, but don't give into the pressure. All those girls will probably end up gaining alot of weight when their older becase their used to eating whatever they want... don't mess around with your body, or you may have to learn the hard way like I did.. Not good. I ended up gaining.

ANYWAYS: just don't diet or worry about weight. Just live in moderation!

..........Why would you not eat for 2 days?!!?!? That's VERY very unhealthy. If you're starving for weight loss, it won't work, and it an make you VERY sick.  I think you should speak to a nutritionist or your doctor for some advise or help.

That happened to me aswell, only I also got a little shaky and anxious. Found out I have hypoglycemia ( low blood sugar).  It's nothing serious, just have to live with it! After eating refned sugar or carbs I got these little "attacks",( the sugar high) then crashed,  and only when I had natural sugars after the crash did I feel normal again.

Do you have these symprtoms as well?

If you want something easy, brush both with a little olive oil, sprinkle with any seasoning, or even a marinade and grill them alongside some sliced red onions! mmmmmmm. my favourite. They get nice grill marks too!

I usually have this with a nuked swete potato. YUMMY!

Hmm.. It says I wwalked 2.32 miles... and I checked this site http://www.horoscope.com/genie/calories.htm

and entered my weight anbd the miles and it gave me 188.. which is what my pedometer says.. maybe I was looking at the miles instead of cals burnt instead before. hehe. woopss.

Handy site though for all you guys!!!!! Way better than estimating

It's called the Master Cleanse. It's somewhat like a fast, and you only drink that. I personally think it's not a maintainable and healthy way to lose weight, but some people say for one or two days to cleanse, it works. Just google "Master cleanse" You'll find tons.

peaceloveandvolcom you misunderstood. I said I DIDNT eat 500 cals. I ate 1300-1500!! That's not STARVING per se. I've been recovering since Spetember. And my happy place was 117! I stayed there for 5 years beforehand!

I did suffer from anorexia for the past 2 years, and I'm over it now though, thank gosh! I too had an IMMESNSE fear of gaining weight and stuff. Honestly though? The only advice I can give is to just add something small everyday.. Go slow, and forget about it. Throw your clothes out- thats a biggie.. I know when I gained I got so depressed b/c my clothes didnt fit, but I was still only 104 at 5'8!!!!! I was letting my clothes control the way I felt!

The only other thing is time. Time heals all.
