Green tea is the best .. it suppresses my appetite for at least 2 hours and it helps increasing the metabolism

yes, but tradesional food differs from country to country

here in bahrain we break our fasting with dates and water. After praying we eat beef soup with lots of vegetables and legumes. We eat it with naan bread. It's almost the main dish every day beside the salad or tabboueh.

other dishes: samosa, homemade pizza, rice dishes (biryani)

lots and lots of desserts Smile which is not friendly with health at all.

I'm attending the university and i don't find any difficulty in fasting coz I eat suhoor meal, so try to eat it as late as possible. also increase your protein calories.

suhoor is very important for you, it gives you the energy to live your day without getting tired.. eat proteins and fibers beside your vitamins , they will help you get full.... you can read the holy quraan after suhoor

 you just need the alarm hehehe

i'v read a research wich said that ppl in Ramadan don't gain weight in spite of the increased calorie intake

also they notice an increase in the HDL (the good cholesterol)

RAMADAN MUBARAK

i thought i won't see any muslims in here

hmmmm....

the  diet .. I used to eat the traditional food every Ramadan.. I eat alot .. I mean A LOT in eftar meal but since i'm dieting this ramadan I'll eat only the healthy traditional food.. PLUS i think that my stomach shrank :/ so i'll eat less

I binged too , I ate 1,800 calories

my daily intake should be 1200

dan't hate yourself Snot , just make it a maintainance day.

Or you can do the zig zag diet , it works ..

1-clementine+ low fat yogurt+ muesli

2-low fat yogurt + vanilla powder

3-any fruit

4-nuts (cashew , pistachio, Wasabi Green Peas ...)

1- my uncle ( a doctor) stay with me for 2 hours telling that i'm obese and gave a diet program   6-19-2006 :D

2- I looked at my left arm and found some stretch marks :/ 

3- I'm in medschool ( how could it be ) gonna be a fat doctor :/ -- we studied about obesity and I was ashamed

I found this site on August the same year (2006) and just started counting

It makes me sick, it looks like an obsessive compulsive thing

all what i do is thinking about the next meal and how many calories in it , oh god ..

I mean am a normal person??!

I sterted to eat more healthy with less calories food to be sure that i'm not taking more than I need, at night I end up with less than 1200 calorie ...  :(
