| Foods | WAY too much Crystal Light? >. | Mar 22 2009 22:36 (UTC) |

I am actually having a completely different experience with crystal light. When I drink it, I get in all of my water intake for the day and I don't eat as much. On days where I don't have it because I've ran out, I notice I eat a LOT more. And I don't think it makes you retain any water to alter your weight because I'm still losing weight just fine. I LOVE Crystal Light! |

| Weight Loss | Why Thin People Are Thin | Mar 17 2009 20:00 (UTC) |

I was always pretty thin growing up and I always ate a ton but I was really active too, which balanced it out. On the other hand, I have a friend who's very thin but not too active and she just eats like a bird. So i think it's different for different people. |

| Weight Loss | Yet another Burn Meter question - and I'm not a newb'! | Mar 17 2009 19:57 (UTC) |

i think it includes the calories your body uses to keep your organs going and since that's already included in your daily burn without exercise, it's subtracting that from your calories burned exercising... does that make sense at all? edit: i think there are already posts talking about this that I've read before that will explain it more clearly |

it has 300 calories and 590 mg of sodium. I bought them at safeway today for 4 for $9 but usually I buy them at Winco for like $2.00. Other good ones are the chicken enchiladas suiza, red beans and rice, and tortilla crusted fish. |

If I feel like I'm STARVING and I know I'm not because I already ate, I look at how much water I've had. A lot of the time you may feel hungry if you're dehydrated. I upped my water intake by drinking tea and crystal light. I pretty much have to pee ALL the time, but it keeps me feeling full until my next meal. |

I take lean cuisines and smart ones to work a lot because they're quick and easy (I like chicken enchiladas suiza and red beans and rice the best). You could also try making enough dinner to where you have leftovers to take to work the next day. I'm going to try to do that with the stir fry I make tonight |

you can try to eat a small amount of something you like. I aim for 1500 calories a day and ended up eating 1775 yesterday because I wanted some dark chocolate. I don't ever give myself cheat days, but I sometimes have them on accident... Like I'll be doing very good all throughout the day, then my boyfriend will tell me we were invited out to dinner and I'm already at my calorie limit for the day... so I just eat a small amount of what I want and then try to work it off the next day. |

I agree with lily... eat half and maybe have the banana with it too so you're full and don't want the other half of the burrito. If it were me, I'd eat half and chuck the rest when they weren't looking. Then get a good workout tonight! |

| Fitness | I feel soreness coming on - should I still workout tonight? | Mar 05 2009 20:49 (UTC) |

i think you should try it and not worry about having to leave in the middle... it should feel great to know that you at least tried. I was so sore yesterday and this morning from working out but i still pushed myself to go to the gym both days and after about five minutes of movement, the soreness went away. (it's coming back now, but I'm glad i got my workout in). Just try not to push yourself too hard to where it could result in injury |

| Fitness | how do I know which activity level to choose... | Mar 05 2009 19:54 (UTC) |

I always put in sedentary for my days off of work since I sit around a lot, then add the calories I burn during work out. I have a serving job in which I'm on my feet for 12 hours running back and forth, so for those days I put light activity and then add the calories I burn if I go to the gym afterwards. I guess it's up to you how you do it though. |

I'm 5'11 and weighed 125 lbs in high school. I ate junk all the time and even had a little belly and never thought about losing weight. I went up to 160 and then down to 135 before and felt great at that weight. I'm at 150 right now and I'm trying to get back down to 135 because that's where I'm most comfortable. I think it all depends on the person. |

yesterday at work we had some chocolate chip cookie bars that are my favorite. There were three left so I convinced three of my coworkers to eat them by telling them I was going to throw them out otherwise. It worked! |

there's a definite difference! good job girlie. If you want to tone up, try different kinds of situps and lunges/squats. I'm doing an x-ball class and a cardio/lower body and abs class to get ready for swimsuit season :) |

I like to toast a whole wheat english muffin, spread laughing cow on it and then put some fried egg whites on it. It's kinda like an egg mcmuffin. You could add ham or some other meat to it too and it would probably be good |

I at least want to know how many calories I should be eating to maintain so that I'm not making it pointless to work out, you know? If I go back to my normal eating habits, I will start to gain the weight back and I will feel like crap. |

I don't feel comfortable at this weight. It's pretty much toning that I want to do, but I don't want to end up gaining weight while I do it because I've already worked hard at getting to 141 (I started at 165). |
