| Hey everyone, its been 2 weeks since my last post, but it seems many of you are doing really well, congrats! This Week: 133.5 I did unfortunately gain .3 lbs, but not bad for spending the last week on my bum in Mexico eating quesadillas and drinking margaritas everyday. clp1974 - Good advice with the mocha, I am a chronic sweet-eater after meals too. I usually try to keep around reduced fat nillas, or one of those weight watchers ice cream things for a weak moment. |

| Whoops Back up to 133.2 I guess that is only .3 pounds but still :( I am off to Puerto Vallarta for a week starting Saturday so the next time I weigh in, it probably will be real depressing, but worth it I hope. Congrats, everyone seems to be working hard! |

| Okay so I have a question: They say you need to eat at least 1200 calories per day so that your body doesn't store away those calories because it is in survival mode. How does excercising play into this? If I eat say 1400 calories but burn 800 then I am only at 600 calories so is this okay or do I need to eat more. So far I haven't really lost any weight, and with spring break just 2 weeks away this is sort of disconcerning. I have been hovering around 134 although I try to eat around 1500 calories a day and work out 5-6 days a week and two of those days I work out twice a day. I have definitly noticed I have gotten more toned, which is great because spandex work out pants are no longer the enemy, but I feel like I should ideally be at like 125. Any advice. Oh yeah, I am in college so I am sure the beer consumption Wed-Sat is not helping. |

| Okay this is depressing, but I gained a pound this week (muscle I hope,
ehh). On the good side I was able to wear a shirt that I haven't
worn since this summer because I looked to flubby in it. Anyways Goal 125 Weight 134 I looks like everyone else is doing great! Keep up the good work! |

| I had a kind of similar question as alexwilliams: I eat on average around 1500 cal a day (except nights when I go out - I try to eat a little less but lord knows those beer cals add up quickly). I work out 6 days a week and 4 days burn between 350-600 calories and 2 days I do two a days (swim suit season is coming up fast!) and burn around 800. I haven't seen the weight loss results in the last two weeks (although like I said drinking could be part of it). I heard somewhere that you should eat at least 1200 calories to prevent your body from storing everything. If I am burning 600 calories say and eating 1500, that would put me at 900, so does the 1200 rule apply here? glaserpu, congrats on the superbowl win (although it somewhat hurts me to say that, i am a chicagoan). I feel you on the 0 temps and super bowl celebrations hindering working out a eating right! |

| I am glad to hear that I am not the only one who faced the struggles of the Super Bowl. I went back to Chicago for the weekend and between the beers, the deep dish pizza, and super bowl foods I am a little afraid for Wednesday. Not to mention, I have not been able to work out while I was there. But hopefully I will be back on track by tomorrow. It's good to see you guys are doing well with it, it definitly helps motivate me. Keep up the good work! | |||

| I think a weekly weigh-in (or check in for those who would rather just
do it based on how clothes fit, etc.) is a great idea! I
currently weigh myself just once a week every Wednesday at the same
time to get an overall look at any changes. I tend to fluctuate
daily, especially if I went out the night before, so doing it daily was
sometimes too discouraging. I am glad to know everybody is supporting each other, it really helps. When I saw that a couple days ago people had already worked out when I checked the site, it made me motivated to go out and do it too. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work! |

| I understand your pain with homemade goodies. I like to bake, (sort of like Izzy on Grey's Anatomy if any of you watch that show) when I am stressed. I also do it with kids I babysit sometimes because it is a good way to entertain them and provide them with a snack. Unfortuately I have no will power and end up eating a good amount of cookie dough in addition to having a few cookies. Baked goods are the enemy. Well, that and alcohol, college makes that one tough. I hope everyone is doing well trying to meet their goal, I didn't lose any lbs this week, but its a miracle I didn't actually gain after this weekend! Keep at it guys! | |||

| Wow you guys are already up and doing things. I of course got
lazy this morning and overslept so no workout for me this morning, but
as long as I can be productive I think I should fit one in
tonight. It helps to hear that other people are on top of it
because it makes me feel on top of it too. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me on a particular problem I have. At home I have been really good lately, mostly because I have been good about buying only healthy stuff so when I do snack its on good things. My problem is when I go to my sorority for lunch (which is like 3 or 4 days of the week) or my friends host dinner on tuesdays. The sorority offers a lot of healthy options, like the salad bar, but there is so many options that I usually just eat and eat and eat. Same thing at my friend's dinners, they make so much food and we just sit there for so long I just keep eating. Any good tips to avoid this? |

| I am struggling with the same problem. Unfortnuately the college lifestyle/my metabolism doesn't seem to make this easy. I used to be in the 120's at the beginning of college and I really want to get back to that area, especially because spring break is around the corner. I have picked up my excercise and managed to make it through the holidays at 134 at 5'2". I would also love to offer tons of support and would love some back to help to get me back to my goal. It's nice to hear that other people have to work at it too, it seems like it just comes so easily to some people. | |||
