| I am 36.... 5'9 1/2....and hovering between 139 and 141... but have lost 81 pounds since I started this quest in September of 2006...somewhere in a 20.5 BMI or so. I am so happy with where I am today that a little extra flab on the backside is an accomplishment...not a defeat!
It takes love for yourself, and COMMITTMENT. It takes realizing no more bread every day or pasta everynight. I changed to whole grain everything. Also started taking TaeKwonDo, which has been good for my body and soul. Most of all...never giving up...and realizing that perfection isn't what it's about...health and feeling good is what it's about. |

| I have lost 40 pounds since November, which equates for me to about 4 sizes. I too have stopped losing pounds as quickly, but my body is changing - getting more fit and sculpted. That is what I focus on. I don't obsess over the scale, I judge by how my clothers fit, and how I feel physically. I have gradually added things to my workout - Yoga, Karate, while continuing cardio, and I've started to move again. Don't get frustrated, just keep on going. | |||
