hello hello!!! I've missed you guys! Things have been insane. But I'm sorry I haven't been in here!

Updates....wedding was great, honeymoon was even better, especially since I managed to not gain any weight on the cruise! We are in escrow on a house and will close on Nov 13th if all goes smoothly. Yesterday was supposed to be my first half ironman triathlon, but it ended up being a duathlon because the fog was too heavy to do the swim. So I'm incredibly super bummed about that and really sad I trained for soooo long this year and still didn't finish a half ironman. Now I have some friends who want me to train with them so they can start doing triathlons next year so that will be a lot of fun. Now that the race season is over, I can start to focus on strength training again and losing weight.

How have all of you been? Val, I've missed you! I at least get little updates from Sheila and Ash on FB, but I want to know how you're doing!

Well, I promise I am going ot try and be on here more frequently, if for no other reason than to keep up with you guys! :)

Sorry I've been so MIA! Hopefully Val is having a blast on vacation right now! i'm super jealous.

I haven't been doing great lately. I ended up going a full week with no workouts. This week isn't going too great either. HOpefully next week I can get back into it hardcore. this weekend I"ll be in Tahoe for my bachellorette party! I'm so excited! It's going to be a crazy weekend!

So when do you start the new job sheila? Is it in the same place you're at now?

hey val! I'm so sorry for deserting you! How was your weekend? did you do another early morning workout? It's tough int eh beginning to get up and run in the morning, but it gets easier. I like it because it gives me time to do somehting in the afternoon since I already got my workout in. I figure, even if I only run for 30 minutes or so, I can spare that little bit of sleep. Try it again and see how it goes!

Well I've been super busy. I had my dress fitting last thursday so I didn't eat much teh few days prior. They are taking it in a lot which makes me feel great! Friday night we left for camping in santa cruz. I did a bike ride on the half ironman course with my dad so I could get a feel for it. I'm pretty sure I"ll do the half ironman in october. I'm scared but i think i can do it! We came home sunday. Monday I did a 43 mile ride and went to a friend's bbq. it was soo good! Now I need to get bck on track as far as my eating goes. No more slacking!

O and i got a cool new phone. it's the tmobile google g1. It's basically like the iphone. Pretty awesome! It should make it easier for me to check in wth you guys during the day!

ooo disney! how exciting! disneyworld I'm guessing? Glad you got to the store to get some stuff tonight. I hate beign out of everything! did you get stuff to make the food front go better?

sheila, are you still sick? poor girl! hopefully you feel better soon!

my ride was nice and my butt surprisingly didn't hurt too bad. It just gets kinda numb lol. I have a special seat but I could probably use a better one. i did rest yesterday. Tehn I went to the bar w/ the girls from the group. My fiance was all pissed at me when I got home b/c he says I'm never home adn I train too much. I don't even train as much as I should and I tried to be home a little more but apparently it's not enough. So I guess Ihave to make a bigger effort to seem like I'm home. It's just irritating whenI'm trying to do well and train hard and he gets on me about this. I'm hopefully going ot do a half ironman in october so I have to work my butt off for that. And if I"m not working out, I'm just home doing nothing so it's stupid! ugh....so frustrating.

But I did a hard run workout tonight. it was about 4 miles witha  lot of speed work and strength drills. Definitely kicked my butt! I've definitely gotten back into gear. I was 174.5 on Monday and today I was 170. I know i'ts partly sodium but I feel good. Hopefully I can lose a couple more pounds by thursday when I go for a dress fitting. Tehn I can enjoy camping and the boardwalk and get some funnel cake!!! yummmy!

sorry i've been mia too! i've been so busy with workouts and other things....was hardly home over the weekend too. Saturday I did our run wrkout, then babysat my nieces, then went to a wedding. sunday I went out fora  43 mile ride, had enough time ot eat adn then leave to buy my mom's present and go to their house. I was soooo tired by sun night! IT was a good weekend though. I did a swim last night and a run tonight. My body is tired though so tomorrow i am resting!

On the food front, I'm back on teh diet this week. I have a dress fitting next thursday followed by a weekend at the beach so I need to lose a few before then! I'm stll hanging out at about 170 so i need to get to 160 still. I'm trying to be good but I work out enough that I can still be a little lenient.

Val, that is an awesome time for such a tough race! There are fast courses and slower courses, just depends on teh terrain. You won't have your best tme on a tough course. when is your next race going ot be? Are you still running outside with the neighbor girl?

sheila, that sucks about the 5am wake up! Hopefully that will mean you get to really enjoy teh weekend and you can sleep in. Sounds like a fun hike on mothers day too. I can def understand why you were sore! ouch!

well i will definitely be trying to get on here more frequently again! at least take a few minutes to say hi!

I've lost about 65 pounds at this point (from 235 to just under 170 now). I thought that when I hit 170, that would be a pretty good weight for me. But now that I"m there, I still see that I have so much to lose. Now my goal is to get to 160 by my wedding in 3 months, but I'm thinking that I might even want to go to 150. I guess I never thought I was capable of that, but now that I'm closer, I think I can! I still see myself as big and as the fat girl. But that's all I've ever known my entire life. No matter how small I get, I will always have the fat girl mentality. But I do notice the biggest difference when I have clothes on and I don't see the big fat rolls on my stomach and my legs actually look somewhat thin sometimes!

man, I need to do weights! You do the bowflex, right? Or just free weights? And we all know that weight is only due to sodium. mmm fries. Taht sounds soooo good! I had fries from wendys today but htey weren't very good.

YOu musta been so proud of her! Had you been practicing with her beforehand or is she just natural? I wasn't very good at baseball when I was a kid. I really sucked haha.

Well I did okay today. I was super hungry, probably due to a few days of not eating a whole lot. I had a latte this morning, then donut at work. Didn't eat until lunch. I got chicken nuggets and fries at wendys but didn't eat much of the fries. i didn't eat anything in the afternoon. I should have. I think the fiance is grabbign a pizza for dinner and I am going to enjoy it! Probably with some wine!

It's raining here and probably will be all weekend which sucks because I wanted to go for a ride. I really don't want to run so I dno't know what I'll do. I guess I"ll just have to see hwo the weekend goes. I have been going so hard this week that I wouldn't mind taking it easy this week. Next week the workouts will ramp up so maybe I should enjoy it while I can!

hey val! omg i have hardly been home this week. yesterday i got home, went to a party fora  tri club I joined, then we decided to go get a beer, then we went to one a friends place. I didn't get home until 12:30! I was sooo tired today. but I told them I would go to the run workout tonight. I was dead. It was a super tough workout, ran maybe like 4-5 miles. then we went for a beer and tacos again! I'm sure I still had a monster deficit today. I've dipped barely under 170 and I'm hoping to stay there! I just need to get down to 160. It's not far off. I've regained my motivation to get there. I'm stepping up my workouts too so that should help. I'm just tired! Hopefully tomorrow night I can get a good nights sleep.

How was practice? Did she have lots of fun? How long are you guys supposed to get rain for?

ewwww val! worms are gross, especially when you can't hardly avoid them. Gald you didn' tget stuck running out in the rain though. Wer eyou able ot do anything today?

If you use a foam roller daily, then it won't hurt when you do it. But when you are initially rolling out the band, it hurts! So I didn't really eat much today. I didn't taek the phentermine for a few weeks, but I am this week. So the effects are much more noticeable since I was off them fora  while. I don't really have an appetite. I didn' teven eat lunch today. After work I ran a few miles, then headed to soccer. My knee did fine. It's sore from being worked on so hard yesterday, but didn't hurt too bad. I had a great game and luckily it's our last for a few months. I'm very happy we get a break. My run went well too. Tomorrow I won't workout. Thursday I think I"ll run again.

I was super congested today. I'm hoping that clears up tomorrow. I thought I was pretty much better! I'm sick of beign sick!

Sheila, you still have to tell us hwo the appt with the surgeon went! I hope it went well.

so I had typed this whole thing out and then the internet broke. Great! So here we go again...

Val, how wer eyour shoulderblades feeling later in the day? Was the weather good enough for you to go run?

Teh it (ilitibial i think) band is fibrous tendons I think that run along the outside of the thigh down to your knee. You usually feel the pain as a tightness or knot onthe outside of your knee. Rolling on a foam roller helps to stretch it out. Teh chiro stretched out teh spot right above my knee today and holy crap did it hurt. I've been icing it but it is definitely tender. I'll see how it feels on my run tomorrow. He wanted me to take some time off but I've already taken enough time off. I need to get bakc to training!

glad you had fun at the wedding, sheila. And woohoo for an open bar!!!

So I didn't go to my friend's place to do the invitations. I told herlast night I was still sick and didn't want to get her sick too. I have definitely felt a ton better today. The runny nose is almost totally cleared up and the cough isn't too bad. I didn't get a lot of my goals done today. Went to the bike shop that was having a sale and spent a ton of money. I did get my hair cut, though. I will try and get a massage tomorrow. Kohls is having a big sale so i want to go there adn get some shirts. I just feel like I've spent soooo much money and I shouldn't spend more! ugh it sucks.

but since I"m feeling better I'm planning on getting back to workouts on tuesday. I've got our last soccer game and I think I'll go run beforehand. I won't have a chance to workout on wednesday, but i'll run on thursday. the next tri class starts next week so I still want to be ramped up for that. My it band and knee have been bothering me so I need to really stretch well. I'm hoping the massage will help with that too. I need to get a foam roller for my it band because it's getting pretty bad. I just know that working out the it band hurts like hell so I'm avoiding doing it!

Sheila, how was the wedding?

val, that's good you got a run in! Hopefully you got some good stuff at the store. I need to go shopping too. I haven't been cooking hardly at all lately.

The ride today was nice. Did 2 hours and 21 miles. It was a slow ride because we were riding w/ a girl who was on a mountain bike and hadn't ridden in a long time. It was good to go easy since I'm still sick...and I'm definitely still sick! I'm coughing and got the runny nose still. I'm really really hoping it's better tomorrow. I'm sick of coughing! My fiance says we have the swine flu thing lol.

O and we booked our photographer today! One more thing off my list! I'm working on the centerpieces but I'm not very creative in that respect. I have the vases already and was thinking of doing marbles at the bottom w/ a floating rose but I'm not sold on it yet. I've solicited advice on facebook!

tomorrow I think I'm going to get my car clean, get b-day presents for my sisters, and maybe pick up some shirts that fit. yay for spending money I shouldn't!

i left work early too, val. I was planning to anyways, but the stuff i took for my cold was making my head feel funny so I decided to go home and lay down. I'm feeling better, but I have to wait and see how I feel in the morning. If I feel okay, i'll be ridin gwith a friend probably. We shall see!

sounds like you'll be busy val! Hopefully you can get a nice ride in. I would like to get out for a ride this weekend as well. The weather will be right in the 70s so it will be perfect!

I just took a nice epsom salt bath w/ a glass of wine. I think the steamy room helped my congestion a little bit and definitely helped my relaxation. I need to do that more often! Of course, while I was in there, I had my lovely stomach to stare at and it occured to me that I only have 3 months until my wedding. If I wnat to get in great shape, I need to get on it! I've been maintaining at 172 for a few weeks now. I think I can get 12 more pounds off in 3 months. Tha'ts just 1 pound a week. I haven't really been makin gany effort lately so if I start cracking down, I should see results. I'm planning to hit the gym a couple times a week for strength training as well so I can hopefully get a littl emore toned. Tri season always makes me forget to do weights so I've gotta fix that. So that's my goal....12 pounds in 3 months! I think I can do it!

Sounds like you guys are having crazy bipolar weather like we are! We had a few days of like 90+ temps, yesterday was mid-90s and today didn't even hit 80! Tomorrow is going to be upper 60s! Crazy! I love the 70s, that's perfect for me.

Even though the weather was soo nice today I didn't workout. I am soooo sick with this cold. I'm all coughy and have a sore throat. i'm not going ot carpool tomorrow sot aht I can leave early. i wanted to just stay home tomorrow, but a program crashed on me today when I was almost done with a report that took me forever to do. so I have to go in and finish it tomorrow. We are having someone bring a super cool lunch in for us tomorrow so I kinda want to be there for that. But I can at least leave early.

Sheila, did you add me as a friend? I'll totally add you! I ttoally feel you on the stressful work crap. It just never seems to end!

The new girl can kinda run on her own now, but I don't feel like she catches on very quickly. I don't know, I guess it's because the girl I originally worked with was smart and quick adn this girl doens't seem too skilled in computers and stuff. I feel like I'm explaining simple things to her. But I guess we'll see with time, but it's been 3 weeks already haha. Most of my stress is coming from this crazy old lady at work who has a problem with me. I want her to retire soooo bad!!! I tried to get scheduled fora massage this weekend but my guy is all booked. I was thinking that I should just get in with anyone so I can feel better, I might need to do that. things just keep building and building. I was craving a cig soooo bad the other night and I haven't smoked out of stress in years. I even bought a pack last night. Havne't smoked, but I know I'm going to because I am sooo stressed. I just want to relax!!!!

bleh...i'm hoping for a happy friday! What are the weekend plans ladies?

I don't know why people wnat to wait to get a massage until they reach a certain weight as a "treat." You can get a spa massage where they are just making you feel good, but a therapeutic massage is soooo important if you are tearing your body apart with exercise. It's an important part of staying healthy and feeling good. Don't wait for it to be a reward for weight loss!

karozel, I'm a triathlete and have been avoiding getting the foam roller but I will be getting one soon. It hurts like hell on the IT bands but if you do it daily it will keep your muscles a little looser. I just don't wnat to have to deal with the initial pain!

I got some new shoes too! I ran in them for the first time today. Defiinitely not the same as my brooks, but not too bad. We'll see once I get them broken in. I ran just under 3 miles or so. I probably shoulnd't have since I'm sick, but i needed to to calm my head. I'm just so stressed and frustrated with work. I can't seem to let the stress go. I'm sure that's a huge reason why I'm sick too. We'll see how i feel tomorrow but I want to get out and do a run or something after work.

I was hopign to do a tri in may but I can't seem to find one! And I might be gone the weekend of the june race. I don't really want to wait until july but it looks like i might have to. Maybe I'll just improvise and do a tri on my own, just a long triple workout! Hopefully you can get a race in during may. Seems like things are definitely starting to get busy though!

I can't believe that I'm much of an inspiration to anyone, but I'm glad that I can help to motivate you! I guess I always just feel like I can and should be doing more than what I do. I still feel lazy! I'm hoping to kick it into high gear once I get over this sickness!

hey chicas! sorry i haven't checked in. I have been running nonstop. All the stuff I've been putting my body through has finally caught up to me. I was feeling like crap last night, went in late today, and left early today. My throat is sore and my whole body just feels dead. So I haven't worked out since my race and I'm missing soccer tonight.

My race went really well. I had hoped to finish in under 2:15 and ended up finishing in 1:58! I was sooo stoked! It's the same bike course as the race I did in september and I took 20 minutes off that time! I was soooo happy when I realized how fast I finished the bike. I did go and chat w/ my chiro before the race, but only had him work on me afterwards. He let me cut the line haha. It was nice to have another familiar face there. He keeps saying he's going ot come to the training but never comes so I'm going to drag him out there!

and the order is swim, bike, run. My hamstrings were totally fine. Wehn I started my bike, I had a bad knot or pain right above my left knee. It hurt and was there the whole ride. When I started the run and got to the first set of hills, my calves were killing me. But I got through it and made the time!

I think you have to give yourself credit for your time, considering how sick you've been and how busy you've been. You still made a good time, especially since it was raining! I hate running in the rain. How did you feel afterwards? Have you ran since?

sheila, i can't imagine how stressed you must have been with that paper! Are you feeling more relaxed now or are things easing up? Do you have any papers or anything coming up now?

I have facebook. I have myspace too but I don't use it nearly as much as I do facebook.

val, that would be great if your hubby started going to the y. maybe if he has that friend to go with, he'd be more inclined to go. Hope you feel good for your race tomorrow and it's not rained out! I can't wait to hear how it goes!

sheila, glad to see you back! sorry things are so crappy right now. Hopefully once your practicum is done adn you can start working out again, things will get under control. Way to go for sticking with it! It will get better. So what's after the practicum?

We booked our honeymoon! Going on the cruise and I'm soooo excited. We opted for the interior cabin to save money. I'd rather spend the money on excursions and other fun stuff. So now we just need to get hte flights booked, which are suprisingly not too expensive...$1100 total round trip to puerto rico!

I think I'm pretty ready for my race tomorrow. I got some things picked up today so I'm all together. Gotta get up super early to get out there and set up and everything. So I should be going to bed in anhour or so since I'm sure it will take a while to fall asleep. My neck is pretty tense and my lower back is buggin me a little. My chiro is going to have a booth at the tri tomorrow so I'm hoping I can catch him before the race. I just don't want to be hurting.

The best part about racing tomorrow is all the yummy food afterwards! I"m going to lunch w/ some of the girls. Then it's dinner and cake and ice cream at my parents' for 2 of my sisters' b-days. And my grandmas are coming over to see my dress. mmmm the food is always a good motivator for teh race!

I took them recently because my weight loss had plateaud for a good deal of time. I was working out a lot and eating well and still no results. I had already lost 50 pounds bu tI was stuck. I took them for about 8 weeks and it got me going again. I didn't have the horrible side effects. I was able to keep doing hard workouts with no problems. I won't be gaining the weight back because I know how to maintain my weight. It was a great wayt o just get things moving again. I still have about 15 pounds I want to lose and I might go back to the pills if I'm struggling to get it off. But I wouldn't use them for long long periods of time because I don't think you'll learn how to keep weight off.

How was your run tongiht, val? And where did you guys go to dinner tonight? That's perfect weahter! It was in teh 70s today but it's going to warm up to 90 by sunday! That's too hot for the race! I'm kinda worried.

Taht was definitely the first time I ever made anywhere near that time. I was shocked! I actaully wondered if my hrm was working right. Did i tell you that i got the garmin forerunner 50? It came w/ hrm, watch, adn foot pod taht tells distance and pace adn all taht. Only $100! so awesome. It doesn't tell cals which i thought it did, but o well.

tonight I did a 21 mile ride w/ a friend. It was really nice, lots of bugs though. Tomorrow will be a swim w/ a couple girls. Saturday will depend on how I feel but maybe a short run just to keep loose. I'm excited for Sunday!

Sounds like we will be booking our honeymoon this weekend! I'm excited! That will be a huge load off! I'm going to call the cruise rep tomorrow and see if I can get any deal or anything. I just want it booked so it's checked off our list. Then I can get to teh ring!Still have lots to do!

It's really great that we are able to maintain our weight now fairly easily. It gives me a lot of confidence for when i'm done losing and am ready maintain for good. Seems like I'll never get there, but I'msure I will at some point! I was back to 172 this morning so that was good. I'm feeling good overall. My tummy has seemed icky looking though so I need to work on that a lot!I have a feeling it will always look like that, though. Frown

Yea, I always wear my ring when I workout. I haven't gotten it cleaned at all adn I"ve been wearing it for over a year now! So not good! I need to get it cleaned though. I guess I don't have to soder mine, I just assumed I would. I guess we'll see hwen we decide what ring to get. Taht's definitely soemthing we need to get done.

My workout tonight was great again. I ran 3 miles in 28 minutes! I was amazed! It's all because I run with this girl who is a runner. I'm just able to maintain this fast pace with her and it's good because it pushes me. I"m really looking forward to the race this weekend. I'm thinking it wil go pretty well. I hope so!

no, i didn't run 25 miles, I rode 25 miles! haha that would have killed me!

I bet you'll be able to shave at least a minute off your time. Nurse that cold so you can be as good as possible on Sunday! That's so exciting about your rings! I need to get mine cleaned. I think I'm waiting until the wedding to get it sized. I'll just have them do that when they soder (sp?) the 2 together.

Well today I did a 3 mile run, then soccer. My run was great. I ran close to a full mile at under a 9 min/mile pace! I was amazed! Soccer was eh. I really only played like 15 min. I got there a few min late, then people just weren't subbing so I was super frustrated. I wouldn't have come out if I knew I wouldn't get to go back in! Tomorrow is bike/run workout. I see the chiro too which is good b/c the muscle on the side o fmy neck is totally killing me. I've beent rying to stretch it but it's not helping.

I'm trying to get my weight back down. I was up to 176 after my Easter binging. I need to get under 170! I'm so close. I just have to get my eating back in line....it's gotten a bit out of control. I juts want to eat everything lately!

well I hope Wednesday is a good day for us!

wow, busy weekend for you! mmm potato anything always sounds good! Sounds like you got a good bit of exercise in too! that's awesome! HOpefully this week will be a little calmer for you so that you can get more val time in!

O and we're going to be racing on teh same day! My tri is on Sunday too. Even if htere are a lot of hard core runners in that town, there are going to be a lot of not so hard core runners too. Don't worry about it! You are doing awesome with your running anyways.Is it a 5k? What's your time to beat? I bet you will make a lot of improvement off your last time. I'm anxious to hear! Get any longer/harder workouts in early this week so that you can give your body time to rest before the race. This whole week will be a taper for me, taking the workouts a little easier so my body can repair before the race.

I think I'm pretty ready for the race. The past few runs I've gon eon haven't given me any problems so that's very encouraging. I swam the half mile course in 14 minutes on saturday (it wasn't a competition event, but it was an organized event). I ran 25 miles pretty easily yesterday. And I've been running 3-4 miles at a good pace. so I'm really hoping it goes well. I'm estimating 14 minutes for the swim, 60 for the ride, and 45 for the run. so that's 2 hours, plus some time for transitions, so I'm aiming for a finish time of around 2:15. I'm hoping I can make that!

Well I've been trying to just relax a little more, not get too stressed. It's hard. I just can't keep being so wired all the time! I have a super tough time sleeping through the night and htat leaves me drained during the day. After sunday's race, there's 2 weeks until the next class starts so I'm hoping ot take that time to just do what I want, get dinner with people I've been pushing off, and reenergize. I need it! there's 3 months until the wedding and I cannot be running ragged like this the whole time. I'd better make an appointment for a massage!

wow...a buffett and you didn't blow your cals out of the water? that's amazing! what type of food is bohemian? Did you get a workout in today? I'ms o jealous you got to leave early! The day just dragged on for me.

Well i have a jam-packed weekend. I ran a few miles tonight, have the Icebreaker swim tomorrow morning (just a .5 or 1 mile swim in the lake), then a run on the trails at the lake, then going out w/ my cousin so she can try on the bridesmaid dress, then passover dinner at the fiance's mom's. Sunday is going to be a bike ride (have to take it in tot he bike shop for an adjustment at some point saturday) adn then easter at my nanas. It's going to be busy! I won't get to sleep in tomorrow but hopefully I can on Sunday. I'm going to be tired!

Hopefully we can check in at some point thsi weekend.

awww no one got dinner? I hate nights like that! Feels almost like you never left work! Was today a little less hectic? Did you get some val-time?

Luckily today wasn't quite so horrible. I just kinda focused on my stuff, got the new girl working on some stuff that took longer so I could get her working on it and then do my stuff. I'm hoping tomorrow is better still. I was going to workout tonight but it's still cloudy and rainy so I decided I didn't really want to go run. I think tomorrow I'll run after work. Saturday is a morning swim in the lake, then I might go for a ride. I'd like to go for a run and possibly also a ride on sunday. I feel like I want to get some great workouts in thsi weekend and then taper off next week. I want to push myself right now though. My hamstring still feels tight, but doesn't hurt too bad. I can deal.

I wish Chris and Sheila would come visit!

that sucks about the bullying and stuff! I remember how horrible the groups were. Hopefully she doesn't get sucked into all of that or be at teh receiving end of it. I don't know how to deal with that sort of thing with my kids.

Were you able to get a workout in tonight? I've heard about that nuun stuff. I should try it out.

My workout tonight felt good. When I was at the chiro, he put a heating pad on my hamstring and I think that helped out a lot. My biggest obstacle tonight was my head. I had the absolute worst day today. Not only am I trying to train the new girl, but my work is a disaster because people aren't doing their jobs right adn I'm trying to clean up what they do, plus one of my coworkers (the 60+ year old who flipped out on my a few months back) todl my boss taht she thinks I don't like her blah blah blah. I just don't have time to deal with this. I was honestly near tears at so many points during the afternoon. Today was just so overwhelming. I really hope tomorrow is better or I just might call in sick on friday. And I just don't see any end in sight. i hope i'm wrong.

wow, you've got a smart girl! how did the conference go? And yum for cake! That sounds super good right now.

Well myworkout was horrible today. It was raining but I didn't mind a ton. But less than a quarter mile or so of my first mile my hamstring was hurting. In the past weeks, I haven't started to hurt until the end of my run so I was really frustrated that I was hurting right off the bat. My coach said to just take it slower today and teh blood circulation should help. But all 4 miles felt pretty much the same, with occassional sessions of it hurting a lot. I was super super frustrated becasue that means I took off 3 days, all of which were gorgeous weather, and came back feeling worse than before! My coach's response is just "you'll be fine." I don't know if he realizes that my ocncern is not that I won't finish the race, it's that I hurt everytime I run! ugh so i'm not happy.

I skipped my soccer game tonight, which is startign right now. I feel bad, but my leg hurts and I'm dead. I slept on the couch yet again last night and didn't sleep much so I'm super tired. I actually fellasleep on the couch after I ate dinner for like an hour or so. I'ma bout to go to bed now. Hopefully I can sleep before my fiance comes up and starts snoring like crazy. I'm hoping that tomorrow's workout goes better than today's.
