I'm 5' 3" (12 stone) which I think is 168 lbs!! My dress size veers from 18 to 20 to 22 depending on the clothes maker!! I would like to get down to 10stone, preferably less but 10 will be a red letter day!! Mind you I am mature to put it mildly so it seems harder. I do think there are lots of other factors involved in weight loss. Health; Age; Emotional factors etc etc. Stress makes me want to binge...so does loneliness... so does being ashamed when I blow a fuse!! http://www1.landsend.co.uk/cgi-bin/ncommerce3 /ExecMacro/LandsEndUK/SizeChartDisplay.d2w/re port?schart=05 This is quite a good size guide. |

gfrisby you have my empathy there re the IBS problems. I don't think at present I could manage 30 mins on the tread mill I will try to increase it I am nevertheless active in loads of other ways and hardly ever sit down until the evening. I will persevere with the calorie reduction. I am determined to do it in spite of any problems. Thanks

kylie87 I am so very sorry to hear that you feel like this. Can you talk to someone about why you feel scared to eat? I repeat you have my deepest heartfelt concern, but be honest, you do need someone to help you as well as trying to help yourself. You shall be in my thoughts and I pray that things start to improve for you. |

I am not a celiac but a good friend of ours is. There are lots of good recipes around if you use the Google search engine. In the UK most of the major Supermarkets have started to produce very good gluten and wheat free foods which are good if you're in a hurry but more expensive than making your own. Wow, havn't you done well at the weight loss Good for you. |

My oreference would be for the vegetables because you can make them so much more interesting! Some chopped ginger added to broccoli or carrots is really tasty. Baked onions are really nice and are quite healthy. I know tomatoes are not a veg. but they are nice with a sprinkling of herbs on. Would a small packet of raisins (45cals) help your sweet tooth? If you live in the UK Tesco have started producing crispy bites containing seeds and raisins ( 36 cal) and they are VERY good. Good Luck ( from one who needs it as much as you do! |
