What I hate- I've gained 30 pounds in the last two years- waving -to my kids and seeing my flabby arms waving again-hello double wave my bras never fitting right- having to stuff and re-place them throughout the day- Knowing that I'm actually a size 14, but can wear stretchy 12's.. oh isn't spandex in cotton great! No, because deep in my heart I know I'm a 14. feeling unmotivated, but sick of feeling fat- Today is my first day:)

| Thanks to someone from Calorie-count I got these DVD's and intend to use them! I started the SIU and have been sore, extremly sore for the last 3 days. Some of the info wasn't included so i wondered what DVD's I should be doing for each week.. anyone who can just tell me by week would great! I love it so far!

| I don't think there is really a way to fix it. my suggestion is to figure out where the balance lies, start journaling, writing down your emotions, what is driving you to find comfort in the food.. are you fighting with someone, having hard says at work, feeling like defeating your goals to lose weight? I have no idea what it could be, but something was triggered and you just have to find the answer within yourself.. I wouldn't suggest you go find a small one, because the amount is not the problem, the binge is.. Stay far away from the bread isle and really dig deep to find what is gnawing at you.. sometimes it's just a habit that needs to be established again. You will overcome this.. just take it one day at a time and start crossing those days off that you are binge free..

| same here.. I have 2 boys who are 14 and 10 yr old.
I usually cook for the family, but I make alot of healthy things. When I make spagetti I will use Whole wheat noodles and add turkey kielbalsa for them, I add the marinara to mine and grill some mushrooms and onions. Usually my older will add those but my younger won't.. Tonight I'm making baked chicken with some brocolli & using whole wheat buns for some garlic bread.. I try to make the choices in the house pretty healthy.. We do have some junk, but most of it is pretty healthy.. I would like to set my kids up to think whole wheat is the way to go along with eating fruits and veggies..My Dad tried very hard as a single father, but we ate like crap and finding a healthy way of life has been a struggle for me.. So, I want to atleast show them the way to eat, whether they cont. after they leave my house or not.. |

| It's probably water weight. I know if I eat heavy on my cheat days I will defiantly show a 3 pound weight gain, just from all the extra salt. I usually drop it in a day or so.. Drink lots of water and eat clean and don;t even bother to weigh yourself after a free day. It's always a freak out for people.. I tend to weigh myself anyway, just for a mental picture of what eating crap will do if I continue..
Congrats on losing weight and stay focused on your goals. YOU can DO this!@ |

I lost 30 pounds 2 years ago and shortly after that I started having major fatigue, I thought it was depression and went on medication, about 5 months later I started walking with some friends (about 3 miles a day) . very soon after that i could no longer walk, I would crawl around in the morning trying to get my kids off to school.. about 3 months later I was diognosed with Rhumatoid-Arthritis. after settling in on prednisone and methotrexate, I quickly gained 30 pounds back.. I am now happily taking Humira and still laugh and feel proud when I can run. I still feel fatigue but not as bad.. THOUGH, I take full responsibilty for my eating. I ate for comfort. junk food, stopping at any fast food I could, whenever I wanted. I must have a very fast metabolism because I think I should have gained much more by what I was eating everyday. SO. those two things and here I am.. If I ever fo back to losing control of my body, I am determined that I will control what goes into my mouth. I have lost 16 pounds. thanks to this site and taking taking of myself! |

| i posted on the other thread too.. I stayed the same but TTOM and I feel bloated, so I think I will have a good loss next week..
