| I love this diet! The drinks are yummy (I drink the Milk Chocolate ones) and they work for me!
I started my diet with them last April, and when I stopped th diet in August, I had lost 50 pounds. Then I got off the diet, and gained 10 back between August and early January, but I started it again almost two weeks ago and have lost 5 pounds. Yay! BTW: something that helps me is drinking water before drinking these. I have a 24 oz cup that I fill up and drink, then I drink the SlimFast. So, no, I don't think they are VILE and they definitely help those who want to be helped! |

I'm Beckie, a 23 year old from South Carolina. I'm 5'11 and I currently weight 198 pounds...ugh. When I was pregnant I gained 85 pounds and now I am finally getting it off, I've lost 42 pounds already, and have gone from a size 18 to a size 12, which has made me happy, but I'm aiming for more. I'm trying to get down to 165, my pre-pregnancy weight before May, when my husband and I go for our 5th anniversary trip to St. Pete. Good luck everyone! |

| I am down three pounds in the last week! I have been exercising regularly, drinking 100 ounces of water and eating around 1200 calories a day.
I don't even buy treats that I like. My husband is that kind of person that can eat two big mac meals and not gain an ounce, so I just buy snacks for him that I don't like. For snacks I am eating light string cheese, apples, carrots, popcorn, etc. I do the slim-fast in the morning and at lunch, and it really works for me. Keep up the good work everyone! |

| My favorites are zucchini and summer squash sauteed in EVOO with onions and garlic...mmm.
Then there's broccoli, which I just steam. And raw mushrooms! I dip them in FF ranch dressing...yum! |

| I am a 23 year old mom of a four year old, and I started dieting last year. I gained 87 pounds with my daughter, but kept about 65 of that on. So last April, I started dieting at 240 pounds and got down to about 190. Then I feel off the wagon from September to December, and gained about 10 pounds back. I'm back dieting as of January 25th and have already lost about 2 or 2 pounds.
I use my exercise bike and I feel like I have been losing the inches. I wish you a lot of luck. I was terribly depressed after I had my daughter because I was so fat, and I just ate and ate, and kept it on. Now my husband and I are going to be celebrating our 5th anniversary in St. Pete FL and I want to look good in a suit. So, right now my goal is to lose 30 pounds in 15 weeks, that will put me at about 168, closer to my original weight. |

| Staying right at 190---all this week and I can't get under!! ARGH!!

| Today has been a good day for me. I stepped on the scale at 193.0!!! WOOT!!!
Eating healthy has put me back on track, definitely. I was being bad and had skipped both breakfast AND lunch for almost a week of class (my classes are from 9-2) and was very irritable and nasty. So I started brown bagging my lunch---have ya'll ever tried the BumbleBee tuna fat free tuna salad with whole wheat crackers? YUM. And it's only like 180 calories I think? Then I also brought a little serving size of pineapple tidbits and a bottle of water, and I was good to go until dinner! I was quite pleased. Also, Healthy Choice has these soup bowls that are really good too...the chicken and rice one is like 90 calories, but it's 2 servings, so it's about 180 calories or something like that. I grabbed that and a little jar of green beans between chemistry lecture and lab. I hope that everyone has had a good week and gets to enjoy their weekend! We are headed to the apple orchard Saturday for picking, a hayride and a walk through a corn maze---though with the drought here in SC...our orchard lost about 2/3 of it's crop! |

| loven---your plans are like the same as mine. I started losing weight at the end of April---started at 239 and right now today I am 194. With summer, it has been hard to lose the weight but I feel just great! I put up my sizes 16 and 18 up for sale and am so happy to be rid of them!!!! Today I put on my size twelves and they are starting to get too big...woooooo!
Still keeping my fingers crossed for that baby though! It took three months for me to get pregnant with Lindsey, so I'm not too worried. My husband has been in a VERY good mood lately :) Hope everyone has a good rest of the week...remember to drink lots of water!! Beckie :) |

I'm back! I was out of town visiting my family and while I was up in NH, I didn't lose any, but didn't gain any either. So that's good. The new college semester started and I am taking five classes, so full time to the hilt. Crazy busy with my daughter too---her preschool starts next week and of course all the activities such as soccer and bowling too!! So---I may not be on for a while! My husband and I have decided to start trying for another baby! I feel like I have gotten down to a comfortable weight (196 today!) and will continue to try to lose until I get pregnant, but after that, I'm just going to be trying to eat healthy and exercise. I don't want it to be like last time and gain eighty stinkin' pounds! Hope that you all have a great day! Beckie :) |

BUT YOU HAVE ALREADY LOST 80 POUNDS!!! That is nothing to frown over! You've done GREAT! Today I was taking my rent check over to the office and the office manager says to me as soon as I walk in the door "Holy crap, you look AMAZING!" and it's stuff like that that makes all the hard work worth it. Plus, the fact that I am down another pant size bringing me down to a 12! wow! I haven't been this small for the past two and a half years! |

| Welcome everyone! I'm Beckie, age 22, 5'11, started out at 239 on April 22nd and now am at 198 today. Congratulations on joining us trying to get rid of our flabbiness! hehe.
First off, let me promise you that I have been eating healthy and not starving myself or anything! LOL Jessica-I jump started my diet with Slim Fast. I religiously followed it for the first couple of months. Now, I only drink one a day, and that is at lunchtime. Another thing that I did at first was stopped drinking all sodas. I substituted the sodas for water. I took my weight (then 240) and divided it by two, giving me 120 ounces of water to drink each day. And the weight just literally fell off, I'm talking like 10-15 pounds within the first month. Now that I am doing my weight as around 200---I drink 100 ounces of water each day. Two big glasses in the morning with some oatmeal, then two glasses at lunch, two at dinner and then throughout the day. My kidneys have been singing since I started that! LOL What I found to be my BIG issue (quite literally) was my portion sizes. I always felt like I had to fill my big plate up...and because it was on my plate, I would need to eat it---and whatever my three year old daughter didn't eat too! So now I use the salad plates instead, and just fill that up---it's much much smaller, and my body still feels full after eating the whole plateful. Now I'm just not pigging out so bad---eating more when I am already full. As far as exercise, I am a league bowler, so I go bowling three times a week for two hours. I started taking the stairs. I am a student, so I try to keep my feet moving all the time while I am sitting down. Now that I am under 200, I plan on starting to go jogging or something...i don't know yet. color4u---the minimum amount of calories that you should be taking in every day is like 1200...so you need to get a little more. But don't use it for things like chips or whatever. Eat plenty of fruits and veggies (5 veg, 4 fruit servings I think). Drink milk for some good calories too. Or cheese. My favorite thing for extra calories is hard boiled eggs, because of the protein in them...as far as the exercise goes...all I know is that you want to burn more calories than you eat (obviously). But don't push yourself too hard, and my suggestion is to grab a banana before heading to work out for some extra potassium :) Like I said guys, welcome! I'm here if anyone wants to chat! Hey, I have a q? I always weigh myself in the mornings, as soon as I get up. But while in the bathroom cleaning, I weighed myself and I was TWO POUNDS lighter than I had thought from earlier in the day (204 to 202). Is this normal? |

| I guess I honestly don't know HOW much is healthy to lose in so many months. I started at the end of April, and now towards the end of July I have lost 35 pounds. I really think a lot of that was water weight---but today I clocked in at 204 pounds! WHOOO!!!
I hope I won't get kicked out when I reach under 200...lol. My body will be under 200 but my mind is still over 200 I guess. I LOVE the fact that my clothes are falling off me, but it's not too good for the self-confidence because I look like crap swimming in my clothes. But then, I don't want to buy a bunch of new clothes until I reach my goal, ya know? 5 more pounds until I reach 199. i haven't been under 200 since having my daughter almost four years ago. | After vacation, I had gained 5 pounds (all the soda and alcohol, LOL) and today, 5 days after I got back, it's off again, I'm at 206, my lowest so far! I am looking forward to finally getting under 200---wow, that will be nice :) I'm hoping it will be gone by the end of July!!

I'm back! It's been awhile since I have been on, but I just started a new job and what with school, the job, and my three year old, it's been pretty hectic around here! Welcome to all our new members! Things are going good---I just checked a little while ago and at the start of June I was 216 and now on the 26th (? I can't even remember what day it is...lol) I am down to 208. Which is a big accomplishment since I am working in food service---so to be around food all day is TEMPTING to say the least. I just wanted to come on and wish everyone a happy 4th! Come Saturday, I will be on vacation and hopefully won't blow it too much! Talk to ya'll soon!
