| Weight Loss | free TACOS at the GYM??? | Sep 18 2007 13:56 (UTC) |

I have been given Chipotle at the gym as well. This was loooooong before I thought a chicken burrito, given to me AT THE GYM, could completely negate and then some the workout I just did. But it was delicious.... If you think about it half the "food" at the gym is ridiculous. I've checked labels of the giant cookies they have at the front desk sometimes. They are supposed to be really nutritious and whatnot, but one cookie could be upwards to 600 calories. |

| Right, I'm just nervous about my foot. I won't be able to wear tights or anything (plus its so dang hot!). Will my ace bandage look bad? Should I put the cast on - the cast itself it bulky and I think tacky looking. I'm just not sure how to put my outfit together now. |

| Fitness | My dad is bribing me | Jun 08 2007 21:50 (UTC) |

| I think it's a great idea and all, good that your brother and you will be bonding and all that. But I don't know how I feel about relying on your 13 year old brother as a personal trainer. Like you said he has a six pack and plays lots of sports - that does not mean he knows how to train someone else, especially a 17 year old female. Maybe you and him can get into sports together, and workout together, but designating him as your 'trainer' that sounds dangerous to me. Especially because I'm guessing he isn't aware of the proper way to do most of the things you guys will be doing and won't know when he is pushing you too hard. I could be wrong though, maybe he'd be great, but still. I am guessing your dad also did it this way so you wouldn't be the only one getting paid, so that your brother would be included and it would be fair to both siblings?? I dunno, sounds good and definitely motivating, but I see potential problems... |

| Fitness | Best personal trainer certification?? | Jun 05 2007 04:58 (UTC) |

| Thank you! I know someone that did their certification through ACE, I just couldn't find too much information on their credentials - but you say they are good to show employers and clients?? I'll look into them more closely. I know they are cheaper and I definitely don't have to travel to take a test - but just to make sure, if I get certified with ACE in Michigan I'll still be certified in Illinois? |

| Motivation | Stupid peanut butter m&ms | May 13 2007 15:44 (UTC) |

| The 11oz bags, the large ones that you can get in the candy aisle are 220 calories for 1/4 of a cup and there are about 7 servings. 220 * 7 = 1540 So it's not crazy that if you ever have even eaten 1/2 of one of those bags by taking a few handfuls of M&Ms at anytime in your life you've done the same thing. I think it's commendable of annibonani. My mom always brings those bags over to my house when they are on sale and I put them in my closet and have to really control myself not to take a few handfuls every so often. There is no need to be rude. She did something very rough for even the strongest willpowered person. Good job annibonani! |

| So I searched Sugar Pie and this is what I got : http://www.geocities.com/NapaValley/9705/reci pes/sugarpie.html 6 tablespoons butter or margarine 6 tablespoons of flour 2 cups of brown sugar 1 3/4 cups of milk 1 tsp of vanilla 1 recipe of your favorite pie dough Hm, I have no idea. Would there be anyway to do what some people here do with Applesauce/Pumpkin and replace the butter with that? Use low fat/fat free milk and a low fat pie crust?? |

| Its not in the chest its a throat burning/insane stomache. Blegh, I guess the logical answer is just stay away from tomatos right?? Eh, no harm there, I don't eat them a lot and now it's just another excuse not to eat pizza...and I don't even need an excuse for that I find pizza gross. |

| I've used stuff such as pepto bismol and once even a heartburn pill, both helped. Pepto bismol worked right away actually. I was thinking it was acid reflux but it is ONLY with tomatos. I can eat anything else, no problem. Tomatos...well, tomato sauce (like I said I have yet to just eat a tomato and see how I feel) they do me in. I guess it wouldn't hurt to get some professional advice on this though. It's just it doesn't come up often enough (I don't eat much with tomatos) that I wasn't even thinking a doctor was needed, just wanted to know if there was anything I could do when tomatos do come up. |

| The Lounge | Why does High school have to be so stressing?? | May 10 2007 17:22 (UTC) |

Oh man, I have issues with that whole "missing out on things" line. I graduated high school a year early, I am graduating college early. I have never been one to take the normal route, and you know what? I am happier this way! If you are happy doing what you are doing then what are you missing out on?? Missing out on being put in the middle of some ridiculous drama? Missing out on what? 12 more weekends when I could act like a drunken fool? Yeah, I don't feel like I am missing anything because it is what I want. All those people that say that highschool is the best years of your life, well maybe it was for them, you have to decide what it is for you. And personally, I would be very upset if the best years of my life are right now (or were 6 years ago) because I have many more I am planning on living and I intend to make all of them pretty darn special. Don't worry, be yourself and most importantly have fun doing it. |

| Yeah my boyfriend's favorite as well. And that dress was a lucky find, I wanted the pink one she wears when she goes to that party, and the one I found is almost identical to it. Here http://good-times.webshots.com/album/55519175 4HBuKzM we took a lot of pics. |

| AH CHRIS!! You know Preacher??? Awesome!! Yeah for halloween my boyfriend and I dressed up as Jesse and Tulip. I even went and got him a zippo and engraved F*** Communism on it. Of course without the *** - it turned out great, everyone is envious of it. Even though he doesn't smoke he likes to walk around with it. |

| Aw thanks guys. And Hi italianprincess!! I LOOOOOVE Chicago, can't wait to move out there. And kcnae3 - I don't think so *just facebooked Ryan Miller*, I see 3 Ryan Miller's and nope don't know any of 'em, SORRY! My boyfriend thinks the yellow might be a nice change of pace, but I am still leaning toward the pale/salmony pink one. I'll put it on a take a pic when I get a chance. So I'm still debating on that. And you guys have NO idea how meticulous I am being about this. I want it all to be perfect - for the past 2 weeks I've been practicing french manicures because I want my nails to look professional as well (and damnit! I have perfected that manicure :D ). So any advice is appreciated. |

Oh also. I quickly bunched up the yellow shirt before taking the pic so I think it is coming off a little frumpy in that pic (or is it just me being too critical??). The jacket does fit perfectly, I did all the movements in the dressing room, it is very comfortable and lays nicely... Just wanted to throw that out there because I am not happy with how the pic of the jacket looks. |

| No no thedame that helps. I went shopping today for the perfect shoe but darnit! everything out is too Springy, open-toed and/or really high heeled or really flat. I'm going to keep looking. I have one pair that will work but it won't be comfortable :( The jacket is black, and I got a shorter one just because I don't want to be burning up, its Chicago and the building is a bit warm if I remember correctly. But thanks, I'll work on making this outfit more professional, I have 12 days to perfect it. |

| Alright, so try not to stand out with a bright yellow shirt? I have white, so that is doable. I was just thinking of maybe staying away from black and white. I have a bright pink and a vibrant green I just picked up the other day, oh, I also have a pale pink - kinda salmon looking. Would that work?? |

| Aw thanks writestuff. Yeah, we figured the shirt lifted up would be best because long I looked like I was ready to go clubbing. And my boyfriend is in law school and has a great little portfolio that he is going to let me borrow so I can put my resumes in it. The interview is in Chicago - Illinois School of Professional Psychology. It's Tuesday the 22nd at 8:30am - 2:00pm. I'm nervous but also REALLY excited. It's a small school but I'm in love with it. |

| I don't think you made a mistake if it fits into your daily allowance. Plus it's a bar, you can't expect that greatest things out of 'em, especially one packing in that many calories, it's understandable it was so high in everything else. I think the only mistake you made was eating it if it was terrible ;) But I think you'll be fine. |

| Foods | Coffee = appetite supressor?? | May 08 2007 19:21 (UTC) |
|
| Ah, that makes sense ramason, thanks! Yeah, I definitely never have caffeine and when I do it REALLY affects me. Hence my go-go-go attitude today. I guess I can consider myself lucky...but then again I'm not a big fan of this feeling, much rather have my normal energy than this frantic-appetiteless energy. |

| lol m3lody - i don't know why but the "walk away from the pot" actually had me giggling. Yeah, I am done with coffee for today (and probably for another however many months until I need another boost). And you know what else? I told myself I was going to be on a the higher end of my calories today and maybe even do maintance since I've had a pretty high deficit the last 4 days. Boooo, I was looking forward to some fun snacking. |

| I'm guessing it might be a mixture of lack of sleep and the coffee. I was about to crash over here and today is a really bad day for me to be dragging a$$ so I had to make some more coffee. One 6oz cup of just plain black and even though I was starting to get a little hungry (I did eat my sandwich I packed) my appetite is gone again. ...interesting. I'd rather take a good night's sleep and my appetite over this though. I definitely can tell my 'energy' is artifical and ... I really wanted my lunch. *pout* |

| Hmm, I didn't think of that. I had a bowl of grape nuts (well, generic grape nuts, 170 cal for 1/2 cup) + fat free milk + 1/3 cup of strawberries. It was pretty filling, but it seems even on days when I have had this before it doesn't last this long. But who knows, I don't normally do so much grape nuts and have more fruit, so it is a possibility. Ah, I feel like I am typing too much. Caffeine really affects me since I never have any, I'm going a mile a minute over here. |
