i have recently started incorporating chia seeds into my diet. i add it to mostly everything. i make chia gel and add it to yogurt and salad dressing. if i am eating a banana i just dip each bite into chia seeds for a nutty, crunchy flavor. i even have it in the traditional beverage style (added to lemonade or other cold sweet drink). at first it is very strange to get used to it in a drink as it does become somewhat gelatinous. i am really surprised there isn't more talk of chia seed here. the benefits i have seen just since using it for a short time is pretty amazing. so go get some chia seed! i am going to mix it into a smoothie this week! i have heard it's really yummy! |

| omg!!! just last night i had a dream that i ate 2 giant bagels... 1 was toasted with tons of butter and the other was all toasty with mounds of peanut butter on it! i am still craving bagel with peanut butter on top!!!

| that sounds awesome! my favorite dessert right now is 1 cup frozen blueberries (79 calories), 1 cup frozen strawberries (77 calories) with 4 tablespoons of light cool whip (40 calories). soooo yummy - and actually that is alot for if i have a super-duper sweet tooth, 1/2 cup of each is more than enough if you just want a regular sized dessert. mmmm...yummers, can't wait til dessert! : ) | |||

| oooooh! yay! i LOVE mushrooms and i knew they were not bad for me... but i kind of thought about them like bananas- they are actually good for you but aren't extremely low in calories! yay!!! in this case, i love being wrong. thanks! (also, when i looked them up, i accidentally picked: cooked - 2 cups, rather than raw, so it initially looked like a lot more calories). mmm, have to go eat the rest! | |||

| I made my favorite new dinner last night - and can't wait to make it again tonight (it could also be breakfast - i'm just crazy).
2 cups (measured uncooked) of sauteed spinach cooked with garlic and butter flavored pam scramble up eggbeaters (1/3 cup), add one slice of light swiss on top of the egg, season and wrap up in 1 whole wheat, low carb 6" tortilla. Place the whole burrito in the skillet so it gets really warm and kind of flakey... I eat the spinach on the side but you could also put it in the burrito or add any other veggies you like. The whole thing is under 200 calories and sooo yummy!!!! |

that news makes me want to cry... i might just be the hungriest girl. ever. i could no doubt eat an entire breakfast buffet single handedly (wait though, and the lunch buffet - mmm though, the dinner buffet is sounding pretty good too...mmm, buffet). i don't want to live hungry! so, um, will i get used to feeling like a greedy pig? |

| thank you christins73, i drink between 60 and 90 ounces of water daily. i am getting so frustrated because i feel like i am trying to do all of the right things. i want to be healthy and consequently, to actually feel healthy. i actually did try calling my doctor today to get some guidance, i think the office may be closed due to president's day. i will have to try again tomorrow. : ( |

| yes. plain and simply, yes. that is the worst feeling too. you feel so crummy that you keep going - as if that will make you feel better, ugh, makes no sense! i binged for nearly 3 days last week. emotionally i felt like garbage and physically - ugh, i felt like a dumpster. my stomach was still in so much pain until yesterday - finally. so for the later part of the week i tried to do well although only made it to about 800 calories yesterday and the day before since i felt so physically horrible after those binge days. trying to get back on track big time now. glad i'm not alone! | |||

| sometimes i get in the same rut - except not with dinner foods but with snacks/candy in the evening. it is seriously as if i am out of control sometimes! i have just realized that i am a serious snacker and i just eat less in the day knowing that i can have a little more calories once i get home. it has been working so far. my sweet tooth is a mean, mean thing!!! | |||

| ugh, i know - i feel like a total slob. i ate at my desk all day. some turd at my work asked why i was eating so little and i told him i have been trying to watch my calories... so then he asked if i'd lost any weight so far, so i excitedly told him "yes, around 10 lbs" - hmmph, he proceded to tell me he saw absolutely no difference (for like 5 minutes straight, over and over - ugh!!!) so what did i do? become more motivated to keep on going? pshht, no i became a total moron and ate some junk!!!!!!! what is wrong with me!??!?!?! | |||

| i have a question though... usually i just buy the reduced fat generic store brand, sometimes though i buy the natural one from trader joe's which (like most naturals) has the oil on top. ok, here's my question... i always dump the oil out because like my natural peanut butter thicker (and besides that oil just looks yucky) - but do you think it is alot better for me? i actually never thought about it until now. | |||

| oooh, i just looked up the above link for the "PB2" - i am going to try it. and if anyone is wondering if i tried the chick pea and peanut butter recipe mentioned in an earlier post... um, the answer would be "no" - and if i were to go into the details of why i did not make said peanut butter recipe the answer would have something to do with an entire box of chocolate chip cookies and then a tummy ache and then massive guilt and then bedtime, obviously leaving no time for preparing recipes. oops. | |||

| dcgirl... hi, i had my daughter when i was 22. before i was pregnant i was about 130 (5'4") - i gained nearly 55lbs (aaah!!!) when i was pregnant and it didn't take long to get my regular stomach back at all. it isn't hangy or anything. i am about 126 now and still nothing droopy so, i wouldn't worry! | |||
