i have noticed that not a single one of you are over 200pounds and that is a good thing I know but I want to join this group but I weight over 200 pounds.

is it too late to join this I drink about 4-6  16.9 ounce bottles of water every day I can not drink much of anything else due to a bladder condition anyway. plus nothing else tastes any better than water anyways.

 I did some really good walking today three times for an hour each time at a slow pace a mile each.
I did not make it with the calories today I kind of went over not much but a little but I did get my exercise in and got my water.

My Big problem is making myself go exercise if I am not in a great deal of pain that is due to my fibromyalgia.The more exercise I get though I have been told by my doctors the better I will feel and stronger I eill get so lets get this started.

I forgot to metion I have lost over 11 pounds since being put on this diet the last part of May it is closer to 14 pounds now I am averaging about 1-1.50 a week just with this diet with school starting and I am going to be able to start going and exercising like I want to child starts kindergarden yea!!! (didn't have a babysitter) going to the YMCA TO WORK OUT

I agree with everyone about the price of eating healthy try changing your eating habits that only include the following fruits Blueberries, melons(other than cantalope) and pears, I have to avoid all other fruits and juices .Vegetables-I am to aviod Fava beans lima beans, Onions, rhubarb, tofu, and store bought tomatoes. I am to Avoid Aged cheeses, Sour cream, eggs, yogurt,and chocolate, rye bread, sourdough bread, Aged,canned, cured, processed, or smoked meats/fish; anchovies;caviar, chicken livers; corned beef or meat that contains nitraes, nitrites. No carbonated drinks, coffee, tea, cranberry juice, Seasonings, Mayonnaise, Minso,spice foods, And last but not least the big Kicker in nearly everything you eat !! PRESERVATIVES bensol alcohol; citric acid, MONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE, aspartame, saccharin; and foods containing artificial ingredients/ colors
This is a special diet called the I. C. diet for a Bladder condition That I have and If I do not want to hurt I have to follow it you talk about expensive and hard to make a meal plan with I was reading labels before now I am really reading them bad thing is I do not know how long I am going to have to be on this diet not forever but my bladder problems have improved since being on this diet but it soo hard to find foods that do not contain the ingredients listed above and I LOVE fruits. I have to focus on what I can have and not what I can't have because there is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH i CAN'T HAVE I have found some all natural ice cream that only has 3 ingredients in it .

I would like to get in on this challenge what is this personal message thing I have not posted in a long time I am kind of lost last time I weighed at tops I weighed exactly 250 pounds from the 24 th of May to the 28 of June I lost 11 pounds  have lost more but not much more I think 13 not really sure

Theam three I was in the hospital for yet another UTI infection and this week I have an Upper respertory infection and a double ear infection so I an on two different antibiotics plus steroids to get rid of the upper resp. having asthma is really a bummer at times! hopefully I will not have that much more of a gain.

I may have posted my weight on the wrong thread but I posted mine I am on team three I think I was 263.25 and this week I am 260.75  one and three quarters of a pound down !!!!!

I have been trying to lose weight for about 5 years now and have succeeded in losing about 50 pounds only to gain back 40 of it back due to sickness ( antibiotics and steroids) and you talk about frustrating to lose all of that weight only to gain it all back that way. Plus I have recently been diagnosed with Fibromialgia/Cronic Fatigue Syndrone which makes exercise diffacult to do at times due to pain. if anyone has some advise or that same problem email me and add me to your list littleangels22002@yahoo.com

count me in then do we do our weights this week or next if it is this week I start out at 264.75 as this weeks weigh in hopefully next week I will lose I am soo frustrated right now about gaining all this weight back after losing almost 50 pounds I am still at 10 pounds lost from my original weight from 4 years ago. I am determined to get below 200 pounds by the end of 2007

I weigh in once a week usually on Thursdays at my TOPS meetings and that is the weights that I have been using to weigh in here too that is until I was given A set of scales and I weighed myself on them this past Wednesday Morning so now I weigh in 2 times a week once on my home scales and then again on the TOPS scales on Thursday mornings.

I hear all of you I suffer from major depressive mood swings I am what they call boarder line bipolar I draw disability for an Anxiety disorder and it can play a major disaster in a diet if you let it you have to set your mind that you are not going to everyone has good days and bad days on their emotions right along with their eating there are some days I want o eat the entire house then again there are days you can not get me to eat anything at all and then thee are days where I am doing great eating just the right amounts of everything. You just have to go with the flow and DO NOT GIVE UP if you have a bad day just try and get through it and start all over the next day and do a little better the next day but never give up just keep trying. take it One day at a time and one pound at a time or one quarter of a pound at a time what ever it takes slow and steady wins the race but it is not a race take your time and we will get there. I have been trying for almost 4 and a half years and have not given up yet I have lost about 30 pounds still want to lose about 50 + pounds and I WILL do it st my own pace slow and steady I take Celexa for my disorder.At one time I was on Paxil and that caused me to GAIN alot of weight they took me off of that one certain antidepressants will cause you to gain weight.

My favorite fruit is STRAWBERRIES I could eat a busshel basket full but I do limit myself to a cup. I also like peaches alot too. I am a bigger fruit eater than I am a vegetable eater give me a big bowl of fruit and I am a very happy person.

i swell up like a balloon and have a BIG gain sometimes I have a gain of 5 pounds in one week because of my monthly plus my high blood pressure I have fluid pills that help but still I have pretty good gains even with them.
