| Weight Loss | Subway diet or Special K Diet? | Oct 10 2006 00:07 (UTC) |

| the subway diet lets you have only a 6" sub per meal. its not worth it. read the nutritional info at subway, but read the fine print. the veggie sub is the least fattening sub, at 2 grams of fat per 6" sub (YIKES!!) BUT, that number includes no sauce, and no cheese! even all the veggies arent included! one of their sauces (known as the "sub sauce", or "italian", has a whopping 12 grams of fat, just in the sauce) i love special k, but i'd jsut stick to it for breakfast. | |||

| when i was 12 years old i was a size 14. now im 14 years old and a size 2. im 5"7, but i really want to be a size zero. if anyone wants to loose weight i suggest going vegan, but eat a lot of protein like tofu if you do. from going vegan i went from 180 pounds to 123 pounds (on a good day! ;P), 124 on a bad. | |||

| im 5"7 and 125 pounds and im (obviously) vegan. used to be 180 and lost all the weight from going vegan. if anyone tries it just remember to get a lot of protein from tofu and beans and stuff because otherwise your hair will fall out. and whatever "clairlaine" or whoever you think you are. we are just giving our opinions and advice. just give it up and dont try to be superior to anyone because everyone should be considered EQUAL. dont think that you're better than anyone because if you post something like that you must think you're something special. |

| Vegetarian | Products not tested on animals | Sep 28 2006 23:11 (UTC) |

| Well, I can help you with the name of brands NOT to use. Don't use Procter & Gamble products because they do test on animals. Some of their products include Covergirl, Herbal Essances, and Nice & Easy Hair colour. Unilever also had a lot of contraversy surrounding them, so I wouldn't recommend using them. Im wondering if you're also not using products with animal ingrediants int hem, because a lot of cosmetics do. Anything with beezwax or lanolin in it comes from animals. Im not 100% sure, but I don't think that Clinique tests their products on animals, and their products are good quality. You should read all labels to see if they come with a "cruelty-free" guarentee. | |||

| If you want to be called a vegetarian, then don't make exceptions like fish or egg. With that title comes the assumption that you do not consume any animal products. | |||

| Hey ive been vegan for 2 years and try marinating low-fat firm tofu in soy sauce and vegetable broth overnight, then cooking it in that same sauce the next day. Add cornstarch to the sauce and it becomes like a thick gravy. It's really yummy! | |||
