| Maintaining | Generally speaking, is it okay to eat when you're not hungry in order to get enough calories? | Jul 27 2008 02:49 (UTC) |
2 |
| I wouldn't suggest it. Instead try to plan ahead to make sure that you will hit your calorie goal. Forcing yourself to eat when you are not hungry hurts you in the long run. Eventually you will be unable to recognize hunger...that is the problem I have now. For a long time I had to force myself to eat so now, even when I am not hungry, I want to eat. Just try to be more prepared with food. | |||

| I have been getting their skinny iced lattes lately...fav is the cinnamon dolce. Have to admit I get the venti quite often since it is only around 110 cals. I also like thier unsweetened shaken iced teas. | |||
| Young Calorie Counters | tummy bulge? | Jul 25 2008 03:52 (UTC) |

| My stomach does that as well no matter how much or how little I eat for breakfast. I have noticed that if I sit up straight and keep my stomach sucked in while eating that it bulges less though. | |||

| Foods | what to eat instead of bread ? | Jul 21 2008 19:26 (UTC) |
|
| I have your problem as well. I am well known for my love to just consume bread by the slice. One thing I have tried to do is buy the double fiber wheat bread so if I do eat too much then there will be consequences whether I like it or not. I also tried ezekiel bread because it is frozen and actually gives me some time to think before I stuff it in my mouth. If I figure anything out though, I will let you know | |||
| Foods | mcdonalds ice cream | Jul 21 2008 14:28 (UTC) |

| I always stick to their cones. Only 150 cals. If I want a blended ice cream treat then I always go to Dairy Queen. They know how to do it right! | |||

| That is a tiny snack not a breakfast (for me at least). Make a better attempt to have fresh fruit in the house. Take the time to make an omelette or scramble the night before and just heat it up in the morning. Throw cottage cheese, yogurt and some granola in a container and go. | |||
| Motivation | What would you have said? (to a rude grocery store clerk) | Jul 21 2008 04:10 (UTC) |
37 |
| If you worked in a grocery store all day then you would probably understand why he said that. Maybe he was also just commending you for making a good decision. Some people would take that as a compliment. I work in a grocery store and you would not belive all the poor food choices I see everyday. I would love to pass out calorie count business cards to more then half of my customers. Not to be an insult to their size but a wake up call to their unhealhty life style. I think you are being very paranoid. | |||

| I have never had a problem walking past the concesstion stand. Probably because it just infuriates me how high their prices are. I already have a hard time paying 8 bucks for at ticket. Just bring your own popcorn and a very large purse! | |||

| If you can't or don't want to decide yourself then go to Ulta or a beauty store where they sell the product and they should be able to help you determine the right shade. | |||

| Foods | Anybody on here trying to cut back on bread? | Jul 19 2008 02:18 (UTC) |

| I am a bread addict. I constantly go back to the pantry to eat a piece of bread. Its bad because it adds up so quick. I tried to keep it in the freezer but 20 secs in the microwave isn't long enough to dissuade myself. I am just going to stop buying it. I need to learn self control first. | |||
| Motivation | Why are people on here so mean???!? | Jul 18 2008 17:19 (UTC) |
47 |
| It is hard to interpret how people are meaning to say their comments on the internet though. They could have been jokingly saracastic whie you end up taking it as being a jerk. And then some people just tell the truth which may not be what you wanted to hear and thus is rude. Unless you are 100% sure, I wouldn't let any comments get to you. And anyways, why would you let anyone have the satisfaction of knowing they ruined your day with a comment on here? You don't know them, don't have to know them, so brush it off. :) | |||

| Weight Loss | I will still feel guilty | Jul 17 2008 17:26 (UTC) |

| Yeah get what you want because when the cone doesn't satisfy you that just leads you to still wanting the blizzard. It is hard but I have slowly learned to just satisfy my initial craving rather then mask it or try to find a weak substitute. Enjoy that blizzard | |||

| The Lounge | Help! Need a new bra size but nothing fits right | Jul 17 2008 15:56 (UTC) |

| My fav bra brand is Maidenform. They have a new bra out right now (can't remember the exact name) but it fits awesome. I would say to bring a bunch of sizes and try on everyone to see how best they all fit you. I thought I was a 36C and ends up I am a 34B. Sad but true. | |||

| I definitely see a difference and in your B pics look like you weigh close to nothing. I immediately assumed that you had an ED, which after reading your orginal post more closely seems to be the truth. You look much healthier in your A pics and look sickly in your B pics. | |||

| I was addicted to Fiber One for a while. I constantly craved it and it did make me bloat. I gave it up (which was very hard) because of the aspartame and now sprinkel 2 tbsp. of wheat germ whererver i would have used the fiber one. But yes, too much Fiber One cereal can be a bad thing. | |||

| Weight Loss | How does everyone feel about carbonated water | Jul 11 2008 16:15 (UTC) |
10 |
| Sometimes I like to drink the flavored carbonated waters but most do contain aspartame (which I am trying to avoid). I drink them mainly to help me feel full when I want to eat but am not really "hungry". However, I realized the bloaty feeling that I get from them just isn't worth it in the end. | |||
| Foods | What's the low-cal food that fills you up the most?? | Jul 11 2008 16:09 (UTC) |

| To keep me from wolfing down cereal or ice cream I have come to love celery and hummus. Oh, also the Wasa light rye crackers. Only 30 cals a piece and with a tsp. of jelly tastes really good. | |||

| It is only available around christmas in the stores (of course I could order it online) but Celestial Seasonings has a Gingerbread Spice tea that is so delicious. Other then that I like Bigelow Rasberry tea or just green tea. | |||
