well well welly, where to begin! - a bikini - of COURSE, except I will always have to wear shorts as the bottom as I have some rather severe stretch marks (sigh) - going back to my home time for Christmas and WOWWING everyone! Christmas time is Summer over here so I can show a bit of skin - oooo yeah :D - Being able to run run run without stopping after a measely 10 minute effort! - not having to -inhale- suck my stomach in. - Being able to go on top (you know what I'm sayin) without feeling like a massive gyrating blob. - Going for our trip to Bali and feeling awesome and sexy!

I find when I'm disgustingly full, laying down actually makes me feel worse.. like all the food is just sitting there like a rock. I bet after you do the dishes and get moving around a little bit, it will settle down a bit, and once the food starts to digest, you'll feel even better. Sip some water or tea and once you've done the dishes, sit down and watch tv/read/something to take your mind off going "YUCK I FEEL SO YUUUUCK" and you'll find in an hour it'll all be over :) Take care |

Thanks guys for all your helpful suggestions, I will definitely take them on board. I must be eating about 600 calories if not MORE for my bowl of muesli - no wonder my weight is being stubborn. I will change this as of tomorrow. I think it's because I wait until I am at work (9am-ish) and I am STARVING so I always fill the bowl up. Silly me. That would also explain why when I was having protein drinks in the morning when I was restricted for time (approx 300) that the weight started dropping off. GOODBYE HUGE BOWLS OF MUESLI!

beachwalker: I understand 100% what you are going through. It took me 10 years to summon up the courage to show my doctor - but by that stage I had already self diagnosed by the power of the internet. Best of luck dealing with this, I know how simple awful it is. Mine comes in waves, so I only have about 2-3 bumps for about a week, and then nothing for a couple of months, so I really hope yours is not severe at all. Feel free to message/friend/add whatever me. |

Hi beachwalker I'm afraid it sounds like you have Hidradenitis Supprativa A condition that manifests underarm/inner thighs/buttock region and even under the breasts. I hope for your sake it is NOT this condition (very awful) but it may well be. AAAAaaaaaand I just told the world about my skin condition. Oh well :)

| PS Rice crackers and hummus are an excellent munch option, if you have say 8 crackers and have a low cal hummus, it generally works out to be a 150 cal snack.
:) Dangerously hard not to keep going through the whole packet of rice crackers though... |

| I think we are aware that this site promotes healthy life style choices, but we are talking about a plant that grows naturally here people. If we were to look at it from that respect, anytime anyone mentioned drinking, shouldn't we go RAAH DRINKING BAD! BAN POST BAN POST! cause alcohol is far more damaging than pot. Far far more!
I spent most of my youth smoking pot, and now I am a 23 year old earning more than my parents combined. just to prove it doesn't hinder you at all, only if you let it! And also, when I was suffering my tooth abscess, the doctor put me on every single pain medication possible, I was nearly on morphine - nothing worked. My partner offered the idea of having a smoke (I haven't smoked it in about 5 years) and the pain was gone. God bless pot :) |

| I've got a holiday to Rarotonga in Feb so that's what I am working my butt off for :) So far this week I have done 2 x body pump, and 2 x spin (bike) classes... so I feel really good, and the scale is dropping, hooray :) reading everyones posts is SO motivating. I love our little group! |

| Ok so I'll stick to BP for about 2 more months (as well as all the cardio I do etc) and then I'll move into that 5x5 regime to prepare me for the extreme fat loss one, which should tie in semi-nicely to when I go on holiday

| Ok well I will look into the 5x5 training. Bare in mind the gym I go to is over crowded with totally buff guys, so I'm not going to feel overly great hanging out in the free weights area.
I am not looking at attaining an overly muscular body (I do understand it is near impossible for females to "bulk up") I just want to be lean and toned. Do you need a person to "spot" you for weights? Sorry I know I sound like a complete amatuer, and I didn't mean to hit a nerve by referring to body pump as "weights training" but as a complete beginner to the world of weights, it did seem like weights training to me. Thanks for your help |

| Thanks melkor, that was very informative and insightful.
Just one thing to note - I love body pump class, absolutely love it. The trainer changes the routine every 12 weeks, so is there no point if my body will just adapt to it? And are the above work outs you suggested good for fat loss? Thanks again :) |

| How did you become a Les Mills instructor? That is an absolute dream of mine and what I am working towards (PT/Les Mills trainer)
I still need the body to reflect it though lol. Do you specialise in one class - or do you get taught how to teach all of them? demi8 i'm in Auckland too, I go to Creo in Manukau every day after work and do a class! Pump is my favourite.. I have an RPM one on tonight haha.. wish me luck |

| Well I plan to throw a morning work out into the mix for the rest of the month, then weigh myself. I'm only allowing myself to weigh monthly now because I was weighing myself 2-3 times a DAY and driving myself crazy!!
Surely it must do SOMETHING, but then you're like.. ahh then I'll be burning more calories = starvation mode. Or then I'll have to eat more and might gain weight cause it's too much.. lol! trial and error. I do eat within 1600-1800 cals a day so I am eating properly. I agree Olivia77 - I used to be a strict morning gym go-er and it just kick started my day! My routine is very intense at the moment I agree, my partner and I are off to Rarotonga in February so I just have my eyes on the prize man.. I've gotta look good. I'll add you as a friend dlock so you can view my journal to see if more cardio was what I needed to lose some more fat! (in a months time) There were many other topics but they were more cardio vs weights, which is better etc. I'm going to experiment with doing both and see what happens! |

| What sort of foods did you binge on? 15 pounds sounds really extreme for a 3-4 day period.
Unfortunately you can't get rid of weight at the same rate you stacked it on, so back to the healthy eating, and work your butt off is the only way you'll see it go back down. (and stick to it.) Best of luck :) |

| restless_gal I'm sorry but I have to withdraw myself from the challenge. I am doing very intense weights training at the moment, which is causing my weight to go up temporarly, and I'm having a really hard time with the scale at the moment. So it's going to be locked away for a month. Good luck to everyone else :) |
