my boyfriend says he has an addiction to meat, haha. he loves vegetarian food, and is very respectful of my choice as i am of his. he tries to eat meat sparingly for his own health, and understands vegetarianism, but i don't mind his vaguely carnivorous ways at all. he's usually very sympathetic & will rinse his mouth before kissing me if he's eaten meat recently.

dinner: curried lentil & vegetable stew (zucchini, eggplant, tomato, spinach, carrot, peas, golden raisins, onion). gobhi alu. pearl barley.

when i was very anorexic i liked eating tomato paste with dill seasoning.

potato chips and vegenaise

& any kind of fine cheese with apples. apparently people think it's odd, but it's a traditional european dessert.

i also love stirring miso paste into brown rice.

when i was little my mum and i would have graham crackers and frosting together. mmm.

dinner: vegan, organic black bean soup, whole grain flax bread with half a small avocado and sea salt. five strawberries.

lunch: huge organic salad with baby spinach, tomato, cucumber, avocado, shredded carrot and beet, alfalfa and pea sprouts, chickpeas, artichoke hearts, curried tofu, mixed greens and dried cranberries with a lemon herb dressing. green tea with maltese orange. rings of dried pineapple.

snack: pear

dinner: salad with cherry tomatoes, mixed greens, carrot, shredded beet, pea sprouts, cucumber, micro greens, pear and gorgonzola with raspberry vinaigrette. moroccan mint tea.

dessert: dark orange chocolate, white truffle with coffee and hazelnut, sliced strawberries, flowering jasmine tea

dinner: field greens salad with strawberries, toasted hazelnuts, goat cheese, balsamic and pomegranate molasses drizzle, small piece of rosemary bread

i like really fine, delicious, expensive cheeses.. like parrano, robusto, aged gouda and brie. especially with a sliced apple or pear.. i also really like whole grain pasta with homemade tomato sauce and cheese shredded on top :]

i'm 5'.5" (five feet and a half inch)

i'm not sure of my weight but my guess would be around 97 pounds

measurements, 32-24-32

ideally i'd love to be 90 pounds, and 30-22-30

breakfast- half a nectarine

lunch- non fat greek honey yogurt with kashi go lean and strawberries

snack- 73% dark chocolate, vanilla meringue cookies, ginger tea

dinner- brown rice, broccoli, kabocha, cucumber beet pickles and baked miso ginger tofu

dessert- a bit more dark chocolate :]

it's good to take a bit of a break from working out sometimes. you shouldn't overexert yourself, especially if something hurts. if you are in pain, and you work out, you might not get the full benefits of your work out, and eventually you might have to take a day off anyway. but if you rest today and wake up tomorrow feeling stronger, you'll probably do very well. maybe just exercise lightly today, take a walk or something light. cheers, i hope you feel better! :]

breakfast- fruit salad of half an apple, a nectarine and five strawberries. black coffee.

lunch- five strawberries and ten almonds and black coffee. (i was out, at my grandma's house and she has nothing healthy whatsoever)

dinner- brown rice, steamed broccoli, kabocha and cabbage, veggie tofu in a ginger-garlic-miso sauce, cucumber beet pickles and green tea. all made by me.

dessert- green tea frozen yogurt

today was a really lovely day and i feel like i ate very well

1.  What time did you get up this morning? around eleven, unfortunately. i love getting up early. but i had a fabulous day regardless!

2.  What did you wear today? i went to the gym so i wore.. this pink silk camisole, a black peacoat-like jacket with big buttons, black yoga pants, pink ballet slippers and an elephant necklace. not normal for me, but i loved what i wore.

3.  Who did you talk to on the phone today? my lover la da

4.  What did you make for supper tonight? brown rice, broccoli, cabbage and kabocha, and veggie tofu in a miso-ginger-garlic sauce as well as japanese pickles

5.  What one show did you watch on TV today that you love? jeopardy was pretty great, i watched it while running on the treadmill. my mind moves at warp speed when i exercise.

6.  What song did you sing to today? 'derek' by animal collective

7.  What did you learn about good health today? i learned that my body responds very well to weight lifting, and it is a better way of toning my arms than pushups are.

8.  What did you put off today until tomorrow? calling another friend of mine.. reading about buddhism, and collaging

9.  What are you going to do different tomorrow about your health or healthy eating? i'm going to wake up earlier, go for a walk, work out more and eat dinner earlier. but today has been one of my healthiest and most productive days in a long time!

1. What is your occupation?  i'm not employed yet, but i would like to be a film critic or director at some point in the near future. i'd also love to create freely and sell my art, but i'm not sure how lucrative that could be.

2. kids (if married), or siblings (if single)? i'm fifteen, so no kids :] and i'm an only child

3. What is your favorite unhealthy food? mm.. fried tofu? or fresh fruit custard tarts

5. what is your favorite movie? right now, vertigo, but i also love blue velvet and the virgin suicides

i tend to eat more later in the day, out of habit. i enjoy having an emptier stomach throughout the day, i despise feeling full so it's easier for me to spend a few hours with a full stomach, go to bed, and wake up with an empty one. breakfast is really light, i snack a bit throughout the day, and then enjoy putting the effort into making a lovely dinner. i don't like eating before i have to go out and do things.

snack: 4 tiny chocolate chip cookies, like quarter-sized

dinner: two whole wheat pitas with olive bruschetta, baby spinach, hummus and pearl tomatoes

dessert: 8 vanilla meringue cookies with 4 squares of dark chocolate. mm, what a good day.

athenos makes an amazing artichoke and garlic hummus. trader joes also carries a roasted garlic version that i love. hummus is so delicious! it's best when you can make your own, though. :]

trail mix can be very high in calories, fat, and sugar. it's easy to overeat. however, if you get the right kind of trail mix with unsalted nuts,and unsulfured fruit, you're better off. it's easy to buy some fruit and nuts in bulk and just make your own. it's definitely healthier than a candy bar or bag of chips! you can pre-measure the components and put individual servings into plastic bags to take with you. enjoy!

Do you have any allergies? dairy, wheat, corn, food dyes and refined sugar. i'm highly sensitive to such foods and a reaction from any usually entails emotional instability, rather than physical discomfort.

If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? that's difficult! apples, i think. or, if i want to indulge for eternity.. persian ice cream. (saffron pistachio rose? oh yes)
