| HIIT is a great workout and remember that you don't have to do sprints or high impact to get your heart rate up...you can do incline on your treadmill, or peddle faster...if you don't have a machine you can do jumping jacks for 1 min and then walk for 1 min...you can also jump rope (even fake it) slow then fast as you can...that will really burn some serious calories. Just think of ways that get your heart rate up and you can apply the theory of HIIT to anything.
Try HIIT. It is a fun way to change things up, also remember that you don't need to do it for as long as you do your slow burn cardio. Try it once a week instead of one of your other cardio days, I bet you will love it. |

| I just started this program...I love it...although I was thinking of doing the lean program instead of the classic...but who knows, I started with the classic I will stick with it. I sucked so bad at the chest and back but kicked ass on plyo...I love plyo!!! Today is shoulders I am looking forward to it. I hope to see some results like yours...oh and that AB X kicked my ass too...I get to do it again tonight!!! | |||

| i finally did it....i ordered the program and have done 3 days...holly cow it is great I love it...the plyo is great...i love doing plyo and it was so fun and challenging....
i was thinking of doing the lean out...instead of the the classic...has anyone done it? it says for less intense...but i already have good muscle definition and would love to just lean out...any suggestions would be great! |

| you sound just like me...one thing I am working hard on learing is that there is not perfect day...no perfect eating, no perfect work out...we are humans and we are not perfect. That being said one thing I do or try to do every day is make a list of what I am grateful for...and really try to feel the gratidude.
We have to remember there is so much more to life than calories in and numbers on a scale. When I find myself focusing too much on a meal I slipped up on I have to try to pull myself back to reality and realize that one day, one meal one piece of junk food isn't going to change my entire healthy plan. Sometimes we just need to take a big step back and look at the whole picture.... good luck |

| I think a lot of us are in the same boat....my boyfriend now has the nickname "Sugar Pusher" he loves sugar in any form...as do I. But I don't keep it in my house and I don't eat out unless it is with him...but when we do he always has to order dessert...HUGE MOUNDS OF IT>>
We bicker about it...but I have gotten to a point where I just allow myself to have a few bites...and try to be happy with that...or I just get really mad inside and become my stubborn self and to prove to him I don't need to eat it...I just sit there and stare at him while he eats it...then when he complains about gaining a few pounds I tell him...hey have another Muffin/cinnamon roll/cookie/ice cream/cake...he gets the point.... |

| I;m not sure what that dressing is but Litehouse makes this Ginger Dressing that is only 35 calories for 2 tablespoons and has no fat...I doctor it up all the time because it is a pretty basic base....I love to add a little rice wine vinegar, sesame oil and a bit more fresh ginger and marinate cucumbers, tomatos and onions in it... | |||

| I am the biggest sugar fan out there...I used to eat chocolate during the day everyday, icecream at night, pretty much anything sweet....I noticed that I also ate a lot of fruit if I didn't have sugar or sweet things around.
After looking over my food logs I noticed I wasn't eating much fat in my diet...good fats mind you I got plenty of not good fats in my junk food binges....so I started eating more nuts, avocado on my salads and a bit more protein during the day. I also made sure that I ate enough during the day and wasn't saving calories for my nighttime eating. This has helped in so many ways, my binges at night are gone, my sugar cravings during the day are gone and so is my night time cravings. I am not saying that there isn't times that I still want it but that is when I grab some almonds and 1/2 apple and am satisfied. |

| when ever i feel like giving up I look at what is going on in my life...am I eating enough? getting enough fat and proteins? am I restricting too much?
I have to let my self have treats and I have to have days where I don't workout and not feel guilty. My habits changed slowly...allow for the ups and downs. You have your entire life to make a change...one day, one moment should never make you want to give up on life..... we are here for you...to support you throu the times you want to give up...best of luck. |

| I really think that it depends on the person as well...I have done both but I have come to realize that if I can get more fat and protein in my diet I don't have sugar cravings and binges at night.
This is not to say that all I eat are burgers with cheese and bacon. In fact I eat little red meat, mostly chicken breast, egg whites for breakfast, lots of fresh fish of all sorts and lean ground turkey but I only eat about 3-4 ounces for lunch and dinner. I do eat carbs mostly fresh/frozen veggies and fresh fruit...I just cut back the amount of fruit I was eating and added some nuts with it. I eat avocados for fats and nuts as I said before...I also love my whey protein shakes after a hard workout. I feel more energy eating this way...before when I was eating 60-70 carbs I always felt hungry. I was always waiting for my next snack and couldn't get rid of the sugar cravings. Now I make sure to eat the fruit before my workouts and I had to cut most dairy out of my diet because of food allergies. I never was a big bread/pasta eater but I love brown rice and have that or qinqua for dinner almost everynight. I know I am not as strick as the Atkins by cutting all carbs (and I think that is what the article is speaking too), it is true your body needs carbs to maintain. I think it is important to get as many nutrients from eating fresh veggies and fruits as possible. But some of us are just more sensitive to them. In the end though I still strongly believe that it comes down to calories in and out and to find a lifestyle we CAN live with in the long run.... |

| I know my bf was teasing me and I made him get on there...he works out a lot and is very strong...I showed him the chest press and bicep curls...he promised never to tease me again about the Total Gym...only now he teases me about Tae Bo/Turbo Jam...whatever.
I only use the leg pulley to stretch or do the outer inner thighs...my legs seem to be pretty strong and it doesn't feel like I am doing much. |

| i'm addicted to the food network...it is on right now...my favorite is Ellie Kreiger...she comes on Saturday...but she always makes the best food and it is well balanced....Actually another CCer and I cooked all last weekend making turkey meatballs, salmon cakes, portabella parmeasan and rice pudding...all healthy. We even put it in CC recipe analyzer to put it on our food logs.
Ok off course...my point is I love food Network...I love Paula although her cooking makes me sick...but I love when she says "everything tastes better with butter" haha... |
