Hi all! I'm still hanging in there and not giving in to my fast food cravings or the family pressure to eat out.

SUPER SUPPERS: We live in AZ and it's hothothot here in the summers...not to mention, we live in a bungalow with no A/C! Needless to say, we BBQ alot! I find that it's quick, easy and healthy all in one! A BBQ chicken breast, fresh green salad and a cob of corn is usually our summer dinner atleast one a week. Sometimes we mix it up with Hebrew National 97% FF Hot Dogs, or a lean piece of steak, or whatever fish looks freshest at the market that week.

I also love to make taco salads. Easy-peasy and really low calorie. I use whatever bagged lettuce is on sale, low fat sour cream, black beans, a few sprinkles of taco seasoning, salsa and a cut up chicken breast. YUM!

WEEK 1:

PART A: MEASUREMENTS - I cannot seem to get accurate measurements by measuring myself! I going to have to have DH do it tonight when he gets home.

PART B: THE BEST THING ABOUT ME IS... -

1. I have great lips! I get compliments on them all the time and have even had other women stop me and ask where I had them "done". I love to wear lipstick and really make them stand out.

2.  I am great at my job. I've been in the same industry for over 20 years, and I still love it! I'm one of those people who got really lucky and make money doing something they would most likely still do, even if they had to do it as a volunteer. Oh, and yes, I do actually donate my time and services as well to local charities and new businesses.

3. I am blessed with the most amazing circle of friends and family. There is not really one who I would hesistate to call on that wouldn't be at my door in seconds if I needed them. I try my hardest to let them all know how much they are loved and appreciated in return.

Hi girls! Can I join your discussion group? Im 37, 5'7" and weigh around 200. I'd like to make it to 150 eventually.

I've been on CC for what seems like forever...almost since the beginning. The support I received here helped my go from 232 all the way down to 162. Unfortunately, I stopped counting and visiting and now find myself back up in the 195-200 range. I'm so mad at myself for putting the weight back on, but I know that returning to calorie counting is definitely a step in the right direction.

We have a pom. I received her as a gift during my pregnancy. My husband was out of town alot during that time and she and I created such a tight bond. She is the most sweet, loving, adorable dog ever. Potty trained in no time at all, is very social and playful. She and my 5 year old son are now the best of friends.

I couldn't recommend this breed more! Yes, our pom does bark, but it's only when someone knocks on the door. She does need grooming, but if you keep yours in a lion cut most of the year, it's nothing you can't handle.

And here I thought I was the only one that this happened to! I've lost 63 pounds so far, with another 20 to go. I've gone from a size 10 to an 8.5. In fact, I just had to go shoe shopping (darn!) this past weekend because I was slipping out of my pumps. My sister was grateful however, since I donated all my size 10's to her.

Didn't end this challenge at such a great weight, but I do know that it definitely helped to keep me on track while planning our elopement. I'm sure some of that gain there at the end was due to overindulgences like cocktails and cupcakes. Starting Monday, April 28th it's back on track. I've got about 25 pounds left to lose.
