| definitely make sure you get it drawn EXACTLY as you want it. if it's going to be small and detailed, be extra careful. I just got my first tattoo about a month and a half ago. When the guy drew it, he drew it upside down at first, but when I explained that I wanted it the other way, he started over. They'll cater to you. If they don't, leave. Also, think about where you're getting it and any future plans you may have. I got mine on the inside of my wrist and it's TINY, so I can cover it up with a watch, makeup, jewelry or a piece of bandaid. I chose that spot because it will never stretch, and I didn't want anything on my legs. It's a very personal thing, getting a tattoo. Good luck! | |||

| Weight Loss | do i NEED to lose anymore weight, really?! | Sep 01 2007 14:28 (UTC) |

| well, you definitely don't NEED to lose any more weight. While you may have been in danger for health risks before, you are out of the danger zone for them now. If you lose more weight, though, some of the health effects are even worse than if you're overweight. Ultimately, your weight dictates how well and fully you can live your life. If you're not at a healthy weight, you're at risk for heart attacks, early death and anemia among other things. Try and think about it as you being good to yourself and caring for your future. | |||

| generally holds 8 oz. of liquid. as for solids, weight can vary a little. If you're going for portion control, I'd suggest investing in a scale. That way it tells you exactly how much of something you've got on your plate or in your glass. It also saves you money on measuring equipment, as well as time spent washing measuring cups and such. | |||
| Foods | How much is a cup?? | Apr 02 2007 13:17 (UTC) |

| invest in an inexpensive but accurate food scale. you won't have to guess about packing food down in a cup and you'll have the most accurate of accurate readings. The food information on the box of pasta or rice is for the uncooked weight. If you measure it out on a scale first, you can be sure not to go over your allotted measure. It works well for me! | |||

| find a new company. I went en pointe when i was chubby. I did just fine. Don't go anorexic for pointe shoes. It's not even worth it. You can dance en pointe at a healthy weight. |

| yeah, a gram of carbohydrate has the same calorie content as a gram of protein. it's fat that has more calories per gram. and alcohol carbohydrates. I personally think it's better to feed your body the things it needs and keep a good balance. I don't like the idea of eating just meat and proteins all the time. The body runs of of carbohydrates. You just need the right type. |

| I LOVE chocolate too. I make my morning oatmeal with either chocolate protein powder or cocoa powder and some splenda. It's a great taste and sometimes I'll eat some just before going to bed - it's like eating a warm, gooey brownie. Sometimes I like to melt semisweet chocolate (10 grams) into 1 tablespoon of natural almond butter and spread it on a tortilla factory wheat tortilla. SO SO SO good. You could also put it on a piece of light bread and it's amazing. Good luck finding things that are chocolate-y! |

| I'm sure they were trying to be positive and nice. They love you for you and I think that's what they care about. To them it doesn't matter what you look like because they always see you in a positive light. Just think about how proud they'll be of you when you reach your goal! (I had an experience with a gay guy on my Freshman hall who was asking me about the contact information for nude modelling (my roommate and I were going to try it. We didn't end up doing it.) and then asked me when I was going to start working out. That REALLY pissed me off because I work out every day hardcore and I took massive offense. Especially because he looks like a praying mantis with a beer belly. GRR) |

| If you keep up healthy eating habits, you body won't be able to store fat. Just eat enough calories that you maintain your weight and be sure to factor in your workouts. I know it's hard to stop working out. You just need to decide whether you want to lie to your boyfriend or not. I have no idea how to slim the lower body. If I did, I'd be doing so right now. My legs aremuscular as all get out. I just want them to un-bulk, but I'm pretty sure that with the amount of cardio and stuff that I do, it's not going to happen. |

| Weight Loss | Is anyone trying the fiber 35 diet? If so, is it working for you? | Mar 26 2007 22:11 (UTC) |

| try tortilla factory tortillas. the wheat ones are 80 cals and have 14 grams of fiber. they are great for sandwich wraps, omelette wraps, burritos, and my personal favorite, an almond butter and orange marmalade faux sandwich (spread almond butter on one half, marmalade on the other half and fold. cut into pieces. SO good...even better if you melt some chocolate chips into the almond butter ;) ) | |||

| I am at your exact weight and age and height. It's frustrating to me that I can't lose weight. I gain muscle like mad. I look like a man, biggest quads and calves in the world, but I'm just built, not thin like I want to be. It is so hard in my opinion to be happy at 143. I just want to be thinner. I understand you, but being unhealthy is scary. Just take care of yourself! | |||

| absolutely. tonight I had a big comfort dinner with my family. I made polenta cakes, chicken marsala and crepes for dessert. I had two crepes and everything else the family had (except I didn't bread my chicken and pan fry it - i like my chicken plain) sometimes I just need some real food. I had a hardcore workout today, so I don't feel bad about it at all (although my stomach doesn't quite appreciate the excessive amount of fat I fed it) | |||

| When I go above 60 grams or so per day, I get SUPER gassy. actually, fiber seems to be making me progressively more gassy lately because I continue to eat the heck out of it. Other than the gas, I don't know if it will do anything bad. | |||
