| jewel-I know what your saying. You see these people who only "need" to lose 5 lbs, and you think if I only could be at the weight that theyre at now. its definitely tough to lose weight, it definitely has ups and downs. But it sounds like youve got a good plan ahead of you! Good luck! | |||

| loven- I have been having the same problem. I have been trying to get below 200 for a while now. I keep bouncing up and down. Im not sure what its going to take. Im just going to keep trying. I think if you continue with the cardio you will lose the weight. Cardio is the best for weight loss from what I have heard. | |||

I think Im doing better. I have lost all of the 7 lbs that I gained. Maybe it was just water weight or something.... Weight loss has definitely been a good motivator for teaching myself self control. I have my bad days, but at this point I have more good than I do bad. |

| I havent been doing any weight training as of yet. For right now, I am sticking to mainly cardio. I dont put any condiments on my food generally because I dont like most of them. My water intake is about 10 glasses a day. That is all I drink. I dont know.... | |||

| It is very exciting when you lose weight, but when it slows down dont get discouraged! My first 10 lbs dropped off in the first 10 days of my dieting, and it has been a rollercoaster ever since. I know what youre saying about wanting to shop at the same places as your friends. All my friends are skinny, even my little sister who used to be overweight has lost weight without even trying. I cant weight until Im not the fat girl anymore. At the same time though, all of my friends were chubby at one point and have now lost weight so they are supportive but its also nice that my boss is currently trying to lose weight so were kind of in it together. Her diet is working much better than mine though. But keep your head up, if you want it to happen it will! =) | |||

| I have been doing this since January of this year. It was my new years resolution. It seems I go up and down constantly. When I did my weigh in last week I had gained 7 lbs! I think thats absolutely ridiculous because last week I didnt cheat at all. 7 Lbs is almost half of my total lost to date. So in 5 months, I lose 20 lbs and then gain back 7?? | |||

| Tk- Making the chicken cesar salad wrap is super easy. Do you know how to make a chicken cesar salad? All I do is take all of the ingredients I would have in a chicken cesar salad i.e. lettuce, chicken, croutons and anything else you like to eat in your salad. I put cucumbers and mushrooms. Put all the stuff in the middle of a tortilla, put some fat free cesar dressing straight down the middle, fold it up and enjoy! Its really yummy!
Cuddlee- Youre more than welcome to join! As far as the weight loss goes, I have lost 20 lbs and its been 5 months. Its not always easy, sometimes you lose, and sometimes you just dont. Dont think of excercise as torture, just do something you enjoy. Even cleaning the house can be considered excersizing. But if you need any support, were all with you! |

Romee-I know what you mean about once in a while can start to become often. I was experiencing that just last week. Last weekend, I did very bad. I dont know if I went over my calories but I know I wasnt eating what I should have been. After the weekend, it took up until today to start eating healthy again. Its hard to get back on that horse once you fall off. You just have to keep with it. It freaks me out when I gain weight too, but I cant really complain because it is MY fault and only my fault if I gain. And they say that the longer you do it, the easier dieting becomes... NOT TRUE. I have been dieting since January, and it wasnt until recently that I started really wanting junk food. You just have to fight it. Dr Phil once said "Youre dislike of being overweight has to be more than your love of food". Thats a tough thing to get to, atleast for me, but hes right. |

| My family is awful as far as all the junk food goes, and they are not the type to have a bowl of chips, they have the bag right next to them. I just look at the bag and im like OMG i want that! I have to learn better self control definitely. After a rough weekend, it is always so easy to keep on the unhealthy track. It took me nearly half a week this week to get back on track after my bad weekend. I am back on track though, hoping I didnt gain too much. =/ | |||

| You dont have to cut down completely on the pepsi, just fit it into your allowance for the day. Limit yourself to one can a day. I have cut down to one can a week, its like my treat for having a good week. Diet pepsi is better for you than regular pepsi is, but personally, I hate the taste of it. There are some delicious things that you can have instead of going out to lunch. For example, I eat lean cuisines and a salad for lunch sometimes. Or sometimes I will make a chicken cesar salad wrap or something like that for lunch. The eating out could be the reason for your rut, and depending on how much pepsi you have that could be part of the reason as well.
From what I have heard, crunches do not help for abs as much as people say they do. I would recommend getting an excersize ball and doing your crunches on one of those. You can really feel the burn, but traditional crunches arent good for your back or neck. |
