| Foods | Are there ANY low fat nuts/seeds? | Aug 12 2007 05:24 (UTC) |

| Sunflower seeds are the lowest in calories. They're about 180 calories for half a cup.
And I heard or read that seeds are better for you than nuts. I have no proof that I can show to you since I don't exactly remember where I heard it but I think it was credible so I'm just sticking to it. |

| heh I haven't had mine for a year and half or maybe a year and about two months. (Me and my mom have disputes about the last time I had mine) I know a girl who'll be 15 in july and she's never had hers. You're still young. It's normal for it to be irregular and it has only been two months. Consider yourself lucky. | |||

| Of course I realize brownies are not healthy and do not offer any nutritional value. I do believe that if you can make a recipe removing bad fats and oils without sacrificing taste, why not give it a shot.
So I guess I'll double the applesauce and use one egg white. |

| Does the egg white affect the taste and should two egg whites be used to make up for the one egg? | |||

| what weight would you start with to work your triceps with dumbells? I've been working out my arms and I have noticed some more definition especially with my triceps, but whenever I do the tricep dips it hurts the palm of my hand by my thumb area so I would like to stop doing them. | |||
| Foods | Fat Day!!! | May 27 2007 21:22 (UTC) |
|
| This morning I pigged out a little. We went out for breakfast and I only had one out of three strawberry filled crepes with only a little of the strawberry syrup. And just a bite of my mom's cherry crepes but then my dad got this dutch pancake covered in apples in a cinnamon and sugar sauce. So I had quite afew bites of his.
I don't feel that bad about it though because we ate at like 11:15 or so and I wasn't hungry for a little snack until 3 something and I just had about 5 cherries and Quaker oats, nuts, and honey bar. I think that's the best way to go to pig out. If you eat unhealthily, just make it at one meal and limit what you eat the rest of the day. Stick to fruits and veggies and what you ate at that one meal won't matter much. But don't do this every day because that is would be harmful to a diet. |

| I too like Fiber One better dry than with milk but I did add it to a Dannon Light N Fit strawberry yogurt once. 105 calories and very filling. | |||

| Foods | I need opinions - Do I eat too many sweets? | May 22 2007 02:13 (UTC) |
|
| the reason why I eat a lot of snacks is because I get full from meals really quickly so like two hours later I'm hungry again. I usually don't have cookies at my house though, in fact my sister threw them all out. they were in the hotel room she rented with her friends for prom and she threw them out I guess to avoid temptation herself. Also the rugelach and raisin bread thing I ate, I usually don't have at my house since my parents got it from a restaurant they ate at. But there are no excuses for how I ate yesterday.
It's just hard for lunch to bring very many vegetables. If I bring salad, the dressing will be disgusting after 4 hours of being out of the refridgerator and there aren't many vegetables I like eating raw. I bring with my lunch fruits like apples, grapes, oranges, and very occasionally I'll bring a banana since they always get squished in my bag but fruits despite their nutrients are high in sugar so I don't want to just snack on fruits all day. The only veggies I like raw are bell peppers but if anyone has any ideas on raw veggies that I can bring to school please tell. No carrots though. I absolutely despise carrots. |

| I would stick to baby food if you don't mind the taste. Enen mashing a banana is better than eating straight. Mashed poatatoes would work.
My friend got hers removed two winters ago. She looked like a chipmunk(sp?). It was hilarious. |

| I find vanilla bean creamier myself but I don't mind french vanilla flavor either.
As for the mint chocolate chip ice cream. I've seen it look like vanilla and personally I'd rather have it look like that because if it's green, food coloring has probably been added. |

| Fitness | How long to wait before lifting weights | May 01 2007 20:44 (UTC) |
|
| I always feel the burn when I lift it's my sister who had gone to the gym 3 days in a row. When we go we always do both cardio and strength training and she was feeling really tired. I told her to wait 48 hours before lifting again but then I wasn't sure because I thought it mattered how heavy the weights were but I guess not. | |||

| Is it an energy drink.
There was a really god sale going on at my grocery store but my mom in her annoyingly high pitched angry voice (even though she had no reason to be angry) is all I don't know what they put in those things. I'm not buying it because it's an energy drink. I'm just wondering if it is or if it isn't. |

| I went to an Italian restuarant and ordered the pasta figoli(sp?) soup and I knew it had bacon in it but I thought it would be very rare and I could just scoop it out and not eat them. I get it and every spoonful had at least 3 bacon bits in it. I had one bite before I examined it and I swallowed the bacon. it tasted nasty to say the least. | |||
| Foods | afternoon snack opinion | Apr 24 2007 02:49 (UTC) |

| Yeah I do eat better than most kids my age. I mean I'd have pizza with salad as dinner, not a snack. It's just I feel like my afternoon snacks are so much more caloric than my actual lunch and breakfast like today's afternoon snack is about 382 calories. That's a lot for a snack even eaten 30 to 60 minutes apart. | |||

| Foods | Mayonnaise | Apr 17 2007 03:28 (UTC) |

| I use Hellman's reduced fat mayo with 2g of fat and 20 calories per tablespoon. I actually like fat free and low fat versions of many things so low fat mayonnaise tastes like the real thing to me since I haven't regular in the longest time.
Does anyone like tomato and mayo sandwiches. My mom made me one betwen a bagel at my grandfather's funeral when I was about 5 since there was nothing I liked because I was picky eater then. And needless to say, I loved it and I made one with the Hellman's reduced fat mayo for lunch tomorrow. |

| that fried ice cream flavor is so good. I had it a couple of weeks ago.
this week I bought the Edy's loaded cookie dough. It's amazing. You don't have to go searching through the entire carton to find a ball of the delicious dough. |
