Hi - Well my son just turned 1 :o) after giving birth I weighed 204 (I only lost 10 pounds during the brith process 7 for Zach and 3 for fluids and etc.)  I breast feed and remained active in the home but the weight didnt go anywhere - it had been very stubborn.  After changing my lifestyle (becoming a calorie counter, joining a gym, and seeing a physician for assistance and advice) I am not down to 185.  My initial goal is to get to 130 and if I still feel large or uncomfortable then maybe down to 115-120 - on and I'm only 5 feet tall.  Anyway I wish you the best of luck I am hoping to reach my goal or at least get close to it before we get pregnant again.  Best Wishes

My doctor recommended a tea called "Slim-Mate Dieters Tea"  It did the trick for getting the traffic flowing :o)

P.S.  Its by Tadin Herb & Tea Co out of California - I've only bought it from the doctor - not sure how easy it is to find online - a thought - I look!

I have/had Exercise Induced Asthma - it was at its worst in Summer (real hot & humid in FL) and when performing high impact exercise.  My doc had me take Singular daily and a puff or 2 of albuterol before and after - that was pretty much it - it took sometime for the meds to get in to full swing - I'd say about 2 weeks before I felt ok during a jog.

Hey PunkyBrew - I need one of the shirts too! I was looking back at our xmas gathering pics and I totally look like there is another on on the way and thats 9 months after having my zachary. 

I am glad to know that deflating boobs is common, after all I guess it is a given considering they are pretty much all fat and for me they were all ready a little deflated/saggy looking after my milk production ended, weight loss has only made it more apparent.   The next place I hope goes down is my badonkadonk (lol) I am cursed with the Shelf Booty - that seems to be the only reason my pant size is still 18.  Its gotta a swing all its own - can't wait for that to go down or if I could just take a little booty and fill in the boobs....

The point of the documentary was to show what happens when you make the worst possible dietary choice - most people that visit mcdonalds aren't going for the salads.  He chose things that a typical american consumer would order and while it was still offered most definitly said "Super Size It" to get "more value for their buck."  It was disgusting yes, And I do believe it was dramatization of fast food eating (i personally don't know any one that eats 3 meals a day all fast food) and had to be to get the point across of how unhealthy these foods can be. Seeing how he changed in those 30 days was a remarkable eye opener and has since taken me off the daily lunch break trips to the nearest Mickey D's. Its a huge reflection of how the American people think and act - we are an immediate gratification culture and and its just quick & convenient to run thru a drive for your two all beef paties, special sauce, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun.  Observing the health and weigh of people of all ages in this country its easy to see how behavior such as this has effected us over a long period of time (more than 30 days)  - just my humble opinion

"Hi My Name is Susan and I am addicted to my scale."

Every morning, as Tamji says "after the morning wee-wee" and then everytime i pass the scale I strip down and hop on.  I record the morning weight in a log but just out of curiosity (obsession) I take a peak - soo often - if I were to count I'd probably say 4-5 times a day.  And then I measure my body every three days with a measuring tape. *sigh* I just gotta know.

Sarah try highlighting the location of the ticker -for example "http://......something.png" and copy it with ctrl + C then on your profile click the little icon that looks like a mountain with the sun in it. a box will pop up asking for the image address click in the box and hit ctrl +V then click on insert image and presto!

I had/have some pretty noticeable cellilite on my thighs and bottom but i noticed just like sleepoline that increasing my water and getting a tan helped - you'd be surprised how much getting a tan can boost the confidence in you appearance - If you dont like the beds try a spray tan or self tanning lotions - spring and summer are on their way.

Also Working on my fat los & toning has helped minimize there appearance but the tan really has done well for the cellulite not to mention the stretch marks - best wishes

i tried it but found that eating all that meat all the time became less appealing to me, things started tasting really salty all the time.  I lost some but upon slowing introducing carbs back in i stop lossing weight and gained back more than when i started - plus it gave me horrible breath!

Elliptical is my preference - I dont have back pain or shin pain when using it - plus I fell like I accomplish more and can go much longer on the elliptical
