Well August 2005  I weighed 202lbs...  I had just split from my husband.. I have three children and could not keep up. I started reading labels and tracking everything I ate. No more pop, very limited juice, no deep fried foods. Hitting the gym a little more regular. As of August this year..so two years from my start date I am 140lbs. I eat great, still read labels and watch what I eat. I  can keep up with my kids and we all eat much healthier.  I struggled with my weight all through my childhood and I am so happy that all my children  have great eating habits and we exercise( play) all the time.

145lbs. 5'7".

Pants 6/7. Jeans 28. Top Small/Med. Depends on brand.

Not bad considering two summers ago I was a 16 and 199 lbs.

When I first start losing the weight, watching what I ate and exercising my period went crazy. My doc said this is normal. I think I missed 2 in a row. PANIC, but all was good.

I have to agree, everyone looks different. I am UNBELIEVABLY able to wear a 6/7 and I weigh 149 lbs. I am 5'7". I was a size 16 43 pounds ago. I am very toned and quite athletic. It all depends.

Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. I started at 194 and now weigh 146.5. Beautiful outdoors here, so that's where I spend most of my time with my three kids.

Thanks for the input. I am a waitress in a busy pub, so I walk/run for 6 to 8 hours everyday that I work this is why I burn quite  few calories. I feel that I probably need to increase my calories by about 400, then maybe that will help. Thanks again.

I do not eat or drink anything past 8 as a rule, then I know I am not eating and going to bed feeling like I need to walk it off!

I too only have 10 left. After a quick loss of 30lbs, I then finally lost 15 more. But I have remained about the same +-3lbs here and there. I am getting a bit fustrated and wondering what I am doing wrong. I have been at my current weight now for about 1.5 months. UGH! My weekly deficit is about 6000. Too much I am not sure, but I am now commiting my self to a strict diet low in fat. See what happens.

I must reply to this one, because I have Aunt who had some serious health issues. ( She drank diet pop all the time, lots of it). She ended up gettin hospitalized, and went through tonnes of tests, worked with a nutritionist. Aspartame is NOT GOOD, lots of it anyways or every day. The nutrtionist said that it is better to have one regular pop than  a diet one. For me I gave up all pop and juice with my diet and I have so far lost 46 pounds.

The girls at my work keep saying I am fading away to nothing. I started at 195 and now weigh 150. It feels great. And yes I love all the compliments I get.

Yes, I can't stand it and cannot afford it. So I take them to a consignment store and get about 40% of what it's worth, then I take that money and buy new clothes. I've gone from a 16 in the summer of 2005, to a 10 last summer and now with summer approaching  I am a 7/8. It is great but a pity to get rid of almost new items.

After having 2 kids a year apart I weighed 195 and could not keep up. My metabolism was low, I was tired all the time. I've always been quite athletic, but the extra weight was to hard on my body. ( Knee, neck and back problems galore). Now I am 148 with a 3, 4 and 12  year old that I can play with and actually keep up to. Plus I work on my feet all day and it feels great!

Fiesta Lime CHicken is 1300 calories. One meal, I sometimes eat that in a day. Most of their salad dressing are REAL high in fat and calories.

I have lost 46 lbs over 18 months and I love the compliments. Alot of people say look how skinny you are. I am eating great(better than before) and I am 5'6" and weigh 148. I am alot of muscle as I am quite athletic, my BMI is 24.2. Just in the healthy category. People say that I am fading away. At 148 I do not think so!

I am so glad I read this topic. After losing 43 pounds I have been at a stand still burning anywhere from 2700 to 3200  calories and eating about 1500. Maybe I need more? This gives me something to think about.

Ok I am a little lost as well. I usually burn about 2700 calories a day and eat about 1500. So is that a a neg 1200. Is that bad or ok. Some days I burn nearly 3000. Someone let me know if this is good or bad.
