I agree it is much harder in general for women to loose weight then men and that is alot of weight in a very short amount of time. is it possible yes... and could you do it a month faster yes. good luck on your journey.

am right now starting the second leg of my journey. i started w years ago at 355 and being 5-6 i am currently 298 at 5-6 i have hung out there for over a year. and just started this week with the next 50 pounds. I will look forward to hearing from you. good luck to you all. my goal is 220 by june 10th 2008.

green tea does help... and any help is good help...it helps with weight lose but it has alot of very good benifits that are very real as well. but of course you will have to have a good diet and excersise with green tea... green tea and mc donalds will not work. green tea just adds to a good diet.

ok ladies... I am writing on behafe of my girlfriend.. she is 5-6 and about 134. she is beautiful in my eyes as she is but she get a lot of hell from her parents for being fat. I believe most of her weight is also due to stress... again most of that comes from her parents. I sugested. five small meals a day. with one or two protein shakes as meals per day. the problem is she barely had 900 calories today and she felt bloted... she is not use to eating hardly at all. well she would usually have a glass of milk for breakfast, less then a half of a bag of pop corn for lunch, some crakers for a snack in the afternoon and maybe like a bowl of soup in the evening with very little water in take per day. I told her to have a shake for breakfast, a apple mid morning (which she had a half of one), and less then a half of a bag of popcorn for lunch, some crakers mid afternoon, a shake for after school (she is a school teacher) and a turkey sandwich for dinner... the problem is that most of the time after she ate the apple and the second shake she felt really full. I don't think she even had a 1000 calories today... want to help her meet her weight loss goal of 15 pounds...so i figure i would ask you ladies how you did it and what you would recommend.

Hi rock queen just wanted to say great job and keep up the hard work. listen you can become slim it will just a few years of hard work... just one day at a time. i have already lost 60 pounds from where i started and back in high school i had always been large. i went down to 205 on this 5 7 frame. i was slim and never thought i could ever see that...now i long for that again. in the past year i have went from 355 to 297 that is my weigh in today. well just keep it up and you can do it.

2 pounds down this morning from yesterday. thats 3 straight days with a 2 pound loss. yipee!!!!!!

HI all my name is matt, but my friends call me skeet. i am 5-6 and just at 300. just about a year ago i was 355. I went on a tear and got all the way down to 287 or so. I miss being solidly under 300. I am a pretty good looking 300 pound guy though. I always played football infact played college ball. I played college ball at about 250 but then kept eating after i hung up the paids just like i was eating all those years. i gained a ugly 105 pounds over a years time. well now I am on the road to 205 what i was before i tore my knee 6 years ago. I do have alot of muscle so 205 looks about 180 on me so none the less I look good when i get there. I just would like to help coach people and to take advice from people on here. 14 days ago i was 312 to 315 since then you can tell i have focused up. well hope to hear from everyone soon

Hi everyone. My name is Matt as you can tell from my sign in name. I am about 5 foot 6 and just at 300 pounds. I am pretty good looking for a 300 pound 5 ' 6" guy. I have no problem with selfestem. I just want to be abel to get on here and cheer people on and have people be with me when I go the distance. I have found several things that help. one just start to try to see food as just something to fuel my body and not something to enjoy. yes I enjoy food as much as the next fat guy but enjoying food for me isn't too much of a option. I for the last week have tried to keep between 1000 to 1500 calories a day. i need to keep it near 1500 to 2000. I haven't been taking in much water and i need to. I believe it has been 10 days of hard work...as i figured that i noticed that falls right with the new year. If i think hard I think i was pushing hard starting on the 28th or so. I had climbed all the way up to 315 over christmas. I was dealing with a bit of a set back because from jan of last year to may I went from 355 to 287. so i didn't put it all back on, but before i did i wanted to stop the weight from being put on. well just saying hi and if any one needs help just halla at me.
