I will definitely be in the September challenge. I like how this group is very "real" everyone is so supportive and realistic.

I hear you when you say no complaints - no excusess. I feel sad when I can't work out at the gym, but the truth is I have a really tough job with long hours and I just need to take the dog out for a run when I can't get to the gym.

So from now on . . .Positive attitude!

Yeah,

Don't be discouraged by others weight loss. I gain at least 4 lbs before my time and then lose it. The way this challenged timed out it looks like I lost 7lbs. But just wait, it will come back. I just retain a lot of water.

Also, I was swiming and running about 2-3 hours a day because I was on vacation. Now I am back at work where I have to fight to find time to exercise.

Slow and steady wins the race.

Hey everyone,

I have been missing in action. It is just too hard for me to count calories, take measurements, use the body fat calculator, exercise and log. I can't keep up. So I joined two other challenges: total weight loss and exercise. I don't have to do all the measuring. I know that BMI is important, but with over 60 lbs to lose I need to find something I can do consistantly.

I miss you all a lot. If anyone starts another challenge that doesn't require the tape measure once a week, let me know. EVERYONE here has inspired me, and Marmel, the weight loss challenge was the first I joined and it was great!

I've been swimming in the ocean and snoreling in the Key. It takes a lot more work to snorkel in the open water! I plan to swim some more today and maybe hit the elliptical tonight. Then it is back home to Indiana and to my dog.

Happy Friday everyone!

I am in beautiful South Beach for the last day. Boo-hoo! Spent the last two days snorkeling in the Keys where I did not eat so healthy but work the fins hard in 1' chop.

I am weighing in with the doctor-style scale at the hotel, which seems to be calibrated correctly. My home scale is a digital with no available adjustments. So, I don't know if this weight-loss is accurate or not.
