| I loved that film!! It TOTALLY turned me off from eating fast food...it's soooooo bad for you, I think about that everytime I drive by a wendy's or mcdonald's .. the crap we put in our bodies is so unhealthy. It was good for me, because I started cutting out things from my diet: 1. fast food (after the movie) 2. soda (after I did a science lab of what soda can do to a piece of meat - pretty nasty it disinegrates) 3. fried food (just because). It's easier, for me anyway, to start making small changes in my diet. | |||

| just being the devils advocate...lets say she does go to class with short shorts on...shes a slut? and you are okay with this way of thinking, lableing, and juding? So what if some girl comes in with short hair...is she a lesbian? If some guy comes in in a pink shirt...hes gay? Come on, lets not kid ourselves. I think this way of thinking is going to go out the window as the younger generation grows up...there are going to be less and less prejudices as more and more people step outside the box... because diversity is a good thing. | |||

| ladyashleigh - thats really a good point you made. Thats exactly what I thought of when I was watching this...I wonder if maybe my perception of eating disorders isnt correct. We always think of skinny stick looking girls as being anorexic - but it doesnt always have to be so. It would be interesting to know how widespride this issue is that you are talking about. Im sure its a lot more common than we all realize. | |||

| raven - I was/am the same way. I would eat this amazing meal, and then RUIN it by feeling guilty. And I just decided hey, its not like I eat like this every day/night so I am going to kick back, relax, and just enjoy the moment. I mean, whats life without little moments?? Like the best feeling in the world is that first bite of dessert after a long day. Every now and then is fine...why rob yourself of letting loose every now and then?? In moderation, of course ;) | |||

| To defend myself --- you guys missed the entire point. The point is, did you ever stop and think about where your ideas and social norms come from?? Why in the world would you call a girl a slut, just because she has revealing clothing on. Thats exactly what is wrong with our society today, and why men rape women and then turn around and say they asked for it. Where do you draw the line?? Just because I, personally, would not dress in a certain manner or revealing clothing, doesnt mean I should pass judgement on somebody who does. Its just something to think about, but I can see a lot of people are made uncomfortable by even suggesting it. That in itself should be a red flag. Especially if you are a woman. Women need to stick together, not judge one another and call each other sluts and umm...sorostitutes. Especially if you know nothing based on these women. Yes, people make judgements based on what others are wearing - I do it too! But....is that right??? I dont think it is. | |||

| Why is our society so fixed on what women wear - who is deciding the thin line between being sexy & sluty?? Who is deciding how much skin is too much skin showing? And since when does showing skin = being a prostitute? Who decided that a butt cheek is gross, rude, and inappropriate?? I mean...when you really analyze the situation you can see how much our social NORMS have been decided for us without us even having to think on our own. | |||

| I did watch that tonight - I had been waiting for some time to see it. It was incredibly sad...but at the same time, and I know this is kind of gross, but some of those girls didnt even seem that skinny to me. It kind of scared me, when I realized my own reaction to that. It just goes to further re-inforce how distorted my idea of beauty is. | |||
