What you just wrote is EXACTLY my situation. I am so mad at my self for gaining so much weight. I would absolutely LOVE to be 130-135. I am currently 155. I have also been on a rollercoaster. I got myself to about 140 last summer. Then I have gained it all back (plus some). I would love to compare ideas for weight loss. I definetly can use some motivation!!

My all time favorite snack is cheese and crackers. So, I get those laughing cow wedges (50 cals for one) and spread that on one serving of the high fiber wheat thins ( 140 cals ?). I find this snack very satisfying.

Also, when I am in the "munching" mood, then I eat popcorn.

I also drink the Atkins shakes. They are only 170 calories, so I also eat them in the morning with something else, because 170 calories does not make up a meal.

Here we go,

Stats at 5th October 2009

age: 30

height : 5'5

cw: 153.8

goal weight : 133 or less

My goal this week is to get more exercise, even if its just walking. I want to work my way up to running again.

This weekend I did not do so well. I was really good on Friday and Saturday, but totally lost it on Sunday.  I will also try to keep my snacking under control this week.

Can I join too???  I can not imagine losing 25 lbs, that would be great! I have been using this site on and off for over 2 years. Last year I lost around 12 lbs, and then proceeded to put it back on again.

My current weight is 153 (as of this morning). So, if I was to loose 25lbs then that would make me 128. I really can not remember when I was 128lbs.

I use to run 3 miles everyday for over a year. I fell off the "exercise wagon" and can not seem to find the motivation to get back on. So, my goal will be to start walking again, and hopefully get back to running.

I can definetly use to support. I am sick of talking about how I want to loose weight. I need to just stick to it this time.

My weakness is snacking. I love chips, crackers and cheese, etc... After I get home from work I can not seem to stop snacking. That is an area I will have to work on also.

Well I hope that I am not too late to join. I could really use the support.

I was just teaching digestive system to my 7th grade class today.

It spends 3 hours in your stomach.

From mouth to the moment it leaves your body is 3 days.

CW- 147 (lost .2lbs since Friday, which is exciting because I thought I had a bad eating weekend)

1st GW-140 by May 15th.

2nd GW- 130 by sometime in the summer!

Goal 1: Keep a 500 calorie deficit each day. That means that I really have to cut out my munchies between the end of the work day and dinner.

Goal 2 (this week): I just bought a scale and I need to start measuring and weighing my food. Especially when I eat pasta and rice...i tend to over do those.

I LOVE Boca Burgers. I get the all american flame grilled ones. They are s o yummy that my 8 year old son even eats them. Let me know how the ones that you purchased taste.

I put my boca burger on Arnold Sandwich Thins bread (100 cal for the whole roll). Then I load mine with sprouts or lettuce, and then tomato, pickles, ketchup and mustard. I love them because they make me feel pretty full for only about 200-250 calories.

If you are eating a sandwich, I have been lately making mine with Arnold Select Sandwich Thins.  There are many types, the rye being my favorite. They also have a multigrain. They are 100 calories of the whole thing (top and bottom), and they have about 5 grams of fiber.

The other day I put turkey, tomato and lowfat cheese on them and then browned both sides in a pan to make a melt. It was really good and the whole melt was around 250 calories. It was very yummy.

Me too, I'm in! I have been gaining and losing the same 3 pounds for the last couple months and pretty sick of it. I could definetly use some motivation.

I am 30 and currently weigh 147.2 lbs, my short term goal is to be below 140 in the next month or so. My ultimate goal would be 130. Oh yeah, and by the way I am 5`5.

My first resolution is to not eat so much unhealthy snacks. As soon as I get home from work I snack out of control all the way until I prepare dinner. Its really bad!

I think that whatever the parent is comfortable with.

It is not a matter of being able to go to the bathroom on their own, rather that in public there are ALOT of weirdos.

I am a single mom and I bring my 8 year old in the bathroom with me when we are in public. My son is very capable of going on his own, I just do not trust strangers. I know that is may sound paranoid, but I rather be on the safe side when dealing with my sons well being. If something were to happen to him in a public restroom I would never forgive myself. Just my opinion.

I am making salsa chicken in my crockpot today:

1 lb of cubed chicken breast
Jar of medium salsa
1 cup of chicken broth

Add all that to a crockpot.  At the end you could put some light sour cream in to thicken. Also, at the end I sometimes add some corn or black beans.

Serve over rice!

Very yummy- and easy!

I always found that eggs and toast made me feel better. Eggs are not too bad calorie wise, and I add a little light butter to my toast. Hope you feel better!

I had the same problem...I LOVED flavored creamer... Now I just get flavored coffee (Dunkin Donuts Hazelnut grinds) and add splenda and milk...still tastes yummy, but WAY less calories.

Popcorn..i get the 94% fat free, butter flavor...its great! I can snack on that and 6 cups popped is only 120 calories...salty snacks are my weakness...so this really helps.

You can DEFINETLY count me in. I need to loose about total of 20 lbs, so if I got down 10lbs I would be half way there. I have been stuck at this weight for months now, so I could use some good motivitation.

I definetly have a small chest and huge hips...so i think that most flattering suit would be something with a skirt on the bottom...like a tankini...I like the skirt, and they really make them cute now.

Also, I will add that me and my boyfriend have been dating for almost two years and we are going to get a house together soon too! AND I have never been on vacation either...so I am happy for you. I am not really sure what one has to do with the other. We both are very hard workers and would rather invest our money in a house...actually, I am not even sure that we will go on vacation in the near future... Well, have fun...and I am sure that you will look great.

no, I do not think so...I drink them all the time and I have been steadly loosing weight...they are alot better then drinking high calorie drinks (soda, gatorade,etc..)

What helps me is when I am really wanting something bad (french fries for example) I just tell myself that I already know what they taste like and I have had them before, is it really worth having a big butt?? I guess it sounds crazy that I talk to myself, but it works for me.

Also, I do not feel bad anymore when I go out to eat when I throw out my food...again I just tell myself that if its in the garbage or in my body its still gone, so I would rather it be in the garbage and not on my body later on.

That really does not sound like too much calories...

But...when I feel that I ate too much, I usually have a veggie burger for dinner on whole grain bun or bread and a salad and veggies...Boca burgers seem to really keep me full for a while and they are only  90 calories

I think that depends on whether you are more hungry in the morning or throughout the day or at night...

I eat less then 1500 calories, but if I were to break it down I would

Breakfast= 300 calories

Morning Snack=100-200 calories

Lunch= 300 calories

Late afternoon snack= 100-200 calories

Dinner= 400 calories

Dessert (I always save room for this) = 100-200 calories

 Just recently I have been eating Boca Veggie Burgers. They are 90 calories each...I put them on a whole wheat bun, the load it with pickles, tomato slices, and lettuce. I find they are very filling and yummy!

I have a bunch of ideas...I will get back to you on some of them...

I usually just take my plate (smaller plate)...fill 1/2 with veggies, 1/4 with meat (lean), and the other 1/4 with rice or potatoes....that usually works well on portion control.

Coffee with cream and milk tastes bitter...its the sugar that sweetens it up...

I drink my coffee with milk and splenda...

Cream tastes better then milk but it is more calories...If I use cream then I make sure its fat-free half and half...

I substitue it when I make chili....its really great...also, I use it instead of ground beef for tacos too!
