No I would llike to loose 5-10 more pounds!  Just in general though..is that feeilng of fullness. Overfullness. is it bad? even with fruit and veg?

wait so.. like on an elliptical it says i burned 400 cal in a half hour ish when in reality that is incorrect bc its based on heartrate?

thank you all so much. you've helped me see what i really want.

i like natural but yes, you're right in that really what i mean to say is i want to eat organically. What does GMO mean? even though utamatley this whole post was NOT about the Kashi--but about the nutritional stance of food in general-- I guess im just going to continue eating kashi anyway, as it remains the only food i eat that is somewhat modified and it does have vitamins , and i do need the calories. on the vegetable side of things--i do eat most of those but my caf doesnt have everything, and i cant eat anything orange or colored things because im trying to de-orangify my skin! ( i used to eat a lot of sweet potatoes and sadly had to stop for the time being bc of this).

nutrition is so confusing and fustrating with all of these different schools of thought, but you're all right in that i need to see whats best for me. i knew this but i guess i just needed to realize that whats best for me is not necessarily the one and only way and sometimes not even the best (evaporated cane juice =:( but at least its not corn syrup!). thanks for the links, and any more input would be great. annie

i guess the question at hand is "what's healthier." I care about getting the healthiest thing to eat. yes i like kashi and really i just felt let down because i was under the impression that the things i eat are natural and like 100 good for you. so iguess the contradiction just upset me a little bit. its hard to take in new ideas after sticking to them.

see, i try and LIKE and eat natural things. my day goes like this kashi oatmeal with a banana apple lunch is tofu or tuna plus whatever veggies are being served--usualy broccoli cauliflower and or now peas.. plus kidney beans and sometimes i add in brown rice. then another apple or pear for a snack dinner is then either the same mix as lunch or brown rice salmon avocado sushi another fruit for a snack at 9 plus i add in almonds here and there to up the calories and also add in choc. silk or kashi go lean or heart to heart bc if i work out this meal plan is not enough.

what other vegetables can i eat besides for broccoli cauliflower and peas those are the ones i eat like all the time?

any opinions are welcome..

whenever i start counting.. i stop losing!!! usually couunting too strictly leads me to burning too much and being scared of goiong over so having a basic idea works better for me anyhow!

haha. actually, im calling off the sweet potato tan. ive gotten at least 20 comments on it.. everything from " are you sick why are you yellow", to " have you been painting???" yeah..not working. im gona stop for the month and see what happens and then maybe go back to 1 a week.maybe.. heh

thanks guys! yeah i actualy went ot the nurse who said yes my hands are a bit more golden then everyone elses but its okay to eat a sweet potatoe a day and im probaly more healthy bc of it... yay for glowing with health/?! i really dont eat carrots so much tho soi guess the sweet potato does it. im trying to back off a bit tho and see what happens.

its not that im craving it im just always thinking about.. i do drink tons of water and everythign and i eat very very healthfully. but my whole day revolves around my next meal and snakand what im gona eat. maybe its just cu zi plan everything in my head anyways. thanks!

way to go!! i know, the sizes going down is definatly the best thing everrrr!!! this summer my scale weight went down like 5 pounds but my skirt size went from like a size 12-8! you can do it!!!!!!!

hey! i also had a plateau at 168..dont worry you'll get through it!! honestly in my opinion i think you should up your calories or at least keep them more at the 1700 range then the 1400.. ifyou diong 45 min on the elliptical and jogging for 20 minutes thats burning way more then 400 calories!! remember to keep your total at minimum of 1200 or else you wont loose weight and go into starvation mode! ( i know that seems very over used here but its true!) when i stopped loosing i re did my math and figured out that i wasnt gettin enough cals. i upped them and then lost 20 more pounds! good luck!

i loveeeeeeee biking outside and Spinnningggg is the best class ever! serioulsy i always feel like i get a good workout and its not too hard on my joints like running can be. the only thing is that iget addicted!!! like i want to go everyday someitmes but ihave to pry myself away.. ive been wanting to get spinning shoes for a long time now, any recommendatoins? annie

hey! i also have the same problem..not iwth BMI but iwth love handles!! i workout everyday as well but today in spinning class teh teacher said that you have to be careful of overtraining--- if you're heart rate gets really hight more then 2x a week then its not as good for burning fat because you'll be training anaerobicly.. does this make sense people? its confusing for me.. im a little addicted to spinning. li ke today i did a half hour in the morning and now i really want to go to a 45 minute killer class but im holding back bc if im over training then im definatly not gona get rid of the love handles! eat more!! annie
