I would love to join, my starting weight for today is 192lbs but I'm hoping that I will be less by July 4th-does that mean I should enter my starting weight again when july 4th comes? |

i read the book, did the diet, lost the weight then gained it back. then i thought months later i would try it again so i did, same thing happen. stay far away from the atkins. you'll lose weight if you burn more calories then you eat and that's it. |

unless you are going to spend the rest of your life on a low carb diet then don't bother. I did the atkins and came off it because all i ate was mean,cheese and lettuce. sure u lose weight but you gain it all back soon as you stop. I gain like 5 pounds back over night. stick to counting calories at least that way you can make one mistake like have an apple and not gain weight. good luck |

hi everyone sorry i've been MIA my baby,husband and I have been really sick, so i've been in bed most days or trying everything I can to make my baby feel better, she's not eating much and she hates to see me on the phone or pc when she's sick, she wants me all to herself. Dragon that's awesome that you are down a pound! and doing so well with not EE great job keep it up. j-fizz you are also doing a great job. I'm trying my best not to EE and I'm still trying to get some kinda activity in even though I'm sick. keep it up guys |

calbert and shona- keep up the good work j-fizz- dancing is a wonderful workout dragon- it might be good the scale isn't moving, at least you are not gaining any weight,sometimes when the scale isn't moving for me I give myself an extra push and not weigh myself for a good week(normally i weigh myself everyday) keep us posted everyone and remember there are no winners or losers this week, everyday we work out we win and every time we don't EE we also win, even if it's 50/50 which is WAY better then nothing. |

This is the last day and as long as I do my workout tonight by 12am then i'm in the clear. my eating has been bad though. I was thinking maybe this week we won't do a challenge, we will just try our best to get the not EE eating and working out 30minutes a day down before we move on and add more. So this way we will all win anytime we stop our selfs from EE this week and anytime we do 30minutes or any minutes of workout tell me what u all think about that suggestion. also please post how you did for the week.

hey guys sorry i had to delete the challenge info, but I didn't want to be moved to "games and challenges" because we are not really games and challenges we are a group and I can't wait for the group section to be open, that will be great when it is, until then I would like for us to stay in weight loss. Don't for get the info is to do some kinda work out 30 minutes a day from feb 9th- feb 16th. |

hey ladies!! challenge starts today!!! get moving and good luck!!! The winner or winners get to make up a name for our group something other then EE group!! dragon that's really great that you started the challenge early. sorry to hear about u'r husbands ankle, maybe next time you can still walk with him for the 15 minutes or however long he can take it and then come home and do another 15 minutes of something else, that way you both get to spend some healthy time together. anyways good job and good luck |

hey ladies ( i think it's only females on the post) You guys are doing so awesome!! I'm so proud of you all, when you fall down you get right back up, and everyone is being lots of support to each other. dragon you're down 6 pounds that's wonderful!! keep it up u'r inspiring us :) shona I'm really happy for you that you make it through monday even though it was hard. To answer your question about will power...I don't really have any, sometimes i have to flush things down the toilet because I can't control myself. I know it sounds like a waste but it's so much more of a waste when I have to spend the rest of my day trying to burn it off my belly...lol mezzo thanks for the support, I eat sometimes at 12am because I finish work that time and i feel hungry instead of tried, but I'm trying really hard to have something like an apple on my break around 9pm and then nothing after that. Hope all is well with your family and carmel same to you. As for me today is the TOM for me and I'm trying to stay strong and not give into anything, today around 10:30pm after watching the biggest loser I did my work out, so I'm happy about that. But I'm sad that I did EE today and the emotion was boredom, I made some muffins for my family and I got bored and ate 2 extra muffins which topped me over at around 300 calories |

| I'm so proud of myself, last night at the party there was a lot of food but I spent the night meeting new people and talking all night instead of eating.
You ladies are doing awesome!!! Mezzo- 400 calories is not too bad, the good thing is you know how many you over ate by. You didn't eat so much that you wouldn't put a number to it. Carmel- You're down 6lbs that's wonderful!!! Now remember how great you feel right now and when you want to EE think about replacing it with some.....EWL....lol I think that means Emotional Weight Loss. You're all doing great, don't forget "Super Bowl Sunday" be careful not to over d0 it. A good way to go is to save up some calories for tonight or get some low fat/calories treats. take care!!! |

| It's day 2 and I'm doing good. Tonight I'm meeting with some friends for wine and cheese. Thank God I don't really like either so this won't be too bad. I just hope there's nothing sweet there like cheesecake.....one of my weakness.
