I'm 20, 5'8" and weigh 130 lbs. I eat between 1500 and 1800 calories a day and do aerobics and strength training for 30-60 minutes three or four times a week. I hit my "maintenance" range of calorie intake just by listening to my body. I eat enough at a meal to feel satisfied but not full and have a healthy snack, usually fruit, anytime I feel hungry. This method has worked pretty well for me. I don't stress too much about the number of calories I'm eating. I just try to make the healthiest choice I can every time I eat something. |

| Weight Loss | ICE CREAM and CHOCOLATE are calling my name!!! | Sep 28 2007 12:09 (UTC) |

This is what I do to curb my chocolate appetite. I buy one Hershey's bar a week and eat two or three of the little pieces after dinner every night. It tastes soooo good but my belly is already satiated from dinner so I'm not tempted to eat the whole candy bar. As for the mexican, chinese food, and cheeseburger, I eat one "bad" meal every weekend. It's probably not a recommended behavior but it curbs my cravings and I've managed to lost 23 pounds doing it this way. Good luck! |
