Girls!

Since the time I started this thread, I've dropped down to 118!!!!!!!!

My clothes are fitting so much better, and my confidence has sky rocketed!

I'm in shock, actually. I didn't change my eating habits much, just cut out pop, diet pop, and fried foods. I did go to the gym six days a week, but I didn't expect it to work so quickly.

THERE IS HOPE!!!!Cool

 I know exactly how you're feeling! I've been utilizing the gym on campus for about six months now, and I've noticed slight changes in my body since then. It's definitely slow going, but well worth it in the end. I can't even function during the day unless I get some sort of exercise. It really clears my mind and keeps me happy. Plus, I've lost two of the eight "freshman" pounds I gained. :) Good luck with your fitness goals! Hopefully we can encourage each other during the journey to a healthier lifestyle!

true, but I know it's possible. My abs used to be very defined, but I gained some college weight.

I think it's more of losing the fat, like you said.

Hmm. I'm in a similar situation, actually. I've been doing weight exercises using an 8 lb weight for about a month solid now, and I am definitely seeing results. Nothing bulky, just leaner arms that can form the shape of a muscle (finally). It's slow going, but it is possible!

It might sound a little weird, but a tablespoon of brandy always helps. It sort of works like a cough syrup, and it makes your body warm up all over. Wink

Oh, I definitely feel you on this one. It seems like when all of my energy is focused on class or studying, I get an intense hunger. Probably more intense then after a good work out. haha  odd, isn't it?
