So I checked out that web site and I am wondering if I am suppose to eat 2155 and work out 4-5 times a week hard intensity and I am only trying to maintain, what would I eat back?

After losing close to 90 pounds at 5'7 and 132, my doctor tells me that I should gain 5 pounds, as if she had just spent over a year trying to lose all of that!

No, 150 was! Maybe you know this next question too! If I work out 5-6 days a week burning at least 600 calories per session, is eating 1600 calories too much?

Thanks everyone for the kind words. 

 Kerry to your question, I have lost 77 pounds and I am 24 years old. I think surgery is not an option as of yet, due to probably having more babies someday.  I have thought about it though afterwards.

I lost one more pound!  But it is amazing that I am still not feeling good always.  I see all of this extra skin and feel unattractive still.  Any suggestions?

So I am going to weigh in in 1 min, but I wanted to let everyone know that I have dropped off my plateau and lost four pounds.  I don't know if this is because I had some bathroom issues the last few days and finally went or what, but I am finally below my goal weight!

I am having problems with staying in a normal calorie limit and over eating.  Now that I am almost to my goal weight I feel as though I am sabotaging it by eating whatever I want when I want it, within portion sizes though.  I am still working out hard and I think on those days I maybe do not eat enough so then on non work out days I am extra hungry.  I don't know I am confused.  On days that I burn 1000 cals, is 1600 intake too much or too little.  And then on non workout days is 1400 too much or too little? You would think after dieting for as long as I have, it would be easier to figure this out.

Hey did anyone notice that the above weigh in amounts it appears I gained 100 pounds!  I think there must have been an error!  I am still on a plateau, staying at 153 for the third week.  I ahven't necessarily been eating bad, but too much.  I have been very hungry lately and feel sick if I don't eat.  I think it may be almost TTOM.

So on Saturday I went to Grandma's marathon in Duluth, MN and watched all of the runners.  It has inspired me to start training!  I probably would never be able to run the whole thing, but maybe the half....or the 5K.  I ran two miles on Saturday and then decided it is going to be a slow process, but at least I have 362 days to go!

Okay I lost 1.5 pounds.  Better than I thought.  I was unable to eat breakfast, so I ate a footlong sub for lunch, was this okay.  I did an hour long step aerobics and a 45 minute-450 calorie burned on the eliptical.  I wanted to keep my cals up, so I thought it would be okay to eat more.

Sorry everyone, I think my body is slowing down.  I just passed the 70 pound loss mark and only have 4.5 to go to my goal weight.  The last ten have been extremely hard.  It is also TTOM and I have not been eating all that well.  I guess it's still a loss?

So I thought I would definitely would have a gain or no loss this week.  My husband is gone fishing in Canada, so I have to a single parent to our daughter and I am not able to go workout.  It also has been raining for the last million days or so, so no exercise outside either!  I feel that I am hungrier and have had a hard time staying close to 1200 calories and not snacking.  In the end I have lost 3 pounds this week!  I did work out everyday last week though, could I be in for some trouble next week?

I love ice cream too!  I ended up going to the gym today and burned what I did yesterday.  I feel good and was able to eat some steak and banana cream pie for Mother's Day!

Thanks red_herring.  I did end up having the stuffed pork chop, but had wild rice instead of potatoes.  Do you know is cornbread bad for you?  I had some of that too.  I did work out today.  I did 1 hour on the eliptical-700 calories burned and 1 hour on the treadmill-500 calories burned.  I also lifted weights.  I usually do not go workout on Sundays, but I think I will tomorrow to make sure I do not obsess about my intake today.  I actually do not feel guilty at all!
