Welcome Bobby! even I am working to cutdown from 300 currently I am at 291. I eat haelthy and I am more happy now. I would suggest as most of the people told Have a journal and keep noting down your weight and maintain a daily calorie intake . Write down and mentally be prepared what you are going to eat and how many calories the food contains. Wish you good luck. I know it is a long journey! But, as many have already done it.We can also do it.Just keep reminding it Taste lasts for some time but it takes a lot to burn those calories!. Hope this helps! Keep us posted about your progress.

Hi All,

I started on Dec 3rd I weighed 300 and yesterday I checked I am at 293.5 . I am not starving myself I am keeping my calories count below 1200 Cal. But, what is bothering me is I lost 7 Lbs in a week. now I am not sure If I really lost these 7 pounds or my weighing scale is showing wrong measurments. As I heard normally people loose 2 to 3 lbs a week. So, please let me know if any one has seen this kind of a behaviour.

But, Initally I used to hate to eat greens. But some how now I started like eating greens... -:)

Please advice me...  Thanks! for all your support.

Hi Janell,

I think you can definetly do it. Just keep faith and keep trying. I had a time when I lost 14 lbs in one months time through healthy eating and no exercise. Now, I have again started trying to do it again.My major problem was I was too engrossed in a different lifestyle where I didn't bother about my calorie count.

Though even I am new to this forum.Here we have so many real people who have done it.So, If so many people can do it you can also do it.

I just started my journey. I have to loose 140 Pounds. I am motivated. Lot of times I started but failed.But this time I don't want to. My weakness I love cooking a lot and have been eating a lot . I know the only solution is keeping myself busy in other activities.  I request all Gurus to please give me some tips of how you people have been able to achieve the goal of loosing 100 lbs. I know its a long journey.
