| i'm 5'6 which is close enough and i am trying to get down to 115, and then depending on how i feel about that 110, currently at 125 (I have a very small frame and weighed 110 for years until i got lazy gained 15 lbs and have been losing and regaining the same 5 pounds for a few years) |

| Just to clarify, this is a point that i see raised often that just nags me a little. Muscle does not weigh more than fat, muscle is DENSER then fat. 1lb of fat weighs exactly the same as 1lb of muscle, however it takes up less volume. |

| I bounced around, in grade 10 I was 140 and when I graduated I was 115....105 in university, back to 115ish now :) (just graduated university! weee!) hoping to get down to 110ish for law school in the fall ;) |

| I'm 5'6 and 115-120 and I find about 5-7 pounds makes a change in size for me. I go down an inch in waist 5 pounds either way but my clothing sizes (dresses tops etc.) don't tend to change unless my weight loss or gain is around the 10 pound mark | |||

| Also the way that indian food is made in Canada/US is much more calorie ridden then Indian Food in India. Same with Thai food in Thailand etc. America 'americanizes' it's imported foreign food and it's much heavier and calorie ladden. | |||

| I spent 3 months in India last year and I lost a -lot- of weight but i was backpacking so i'm not sure what of context you're going under. I never got sick and i ate food off the streets and in the restaurants. Yummy and delicious and 100 times better than indian food here :D and i'm a vegetarian and i was fine | |||

| My understanding of this formula that was to for losing weight you should take your llbs and times it by 10 for your calorie output. To maintain weight and not gain you should times your weight in lbs by 115 So I 110 lb woman will lose weight at 1100 and will maintain at 1565 according to the formula you are referencing. Remember it's been around for ages and is just a very general guide... |

| For me i really found that what makes the difference is MAKING the time. I used to watch tv for an hour or two a night to decompres, or kill time surfing on the internet, instead i go to the gym now! I find it easier to work out in the beginning of the day (no excuses or being to tired there) so i just get up earlier now and go to bed a little earlier :) | |||

| It seriously could just be waterweight/food, the other night i weighed myself and it said 132!!!! I have never weighed that much and it was up 7 lbs from my weight the previous morning, 36 hours later i am back at 125 :) | |||
