| Hey everyone...
Just some words of encourgements.... I have been reading some of the posts and some sound down on themselves. Gaining weight or being in this little group society has labeled us in as "Obese" is nothing that should get us down. There are so many reasons as to why were are PHAT(Pretty Hot And Tempting)! It took us a long time to get this way and it's going to take us a long time to loose it. For whatever reason... that new bathing suit, to be a cover model(my reason)... to get back at an ex, to show off at your 10, 20, 30 yr high school reunion, for your health, for your kids, for your parents, regardless, as long as it is for yourself! I believe this is the only way you will truly loose the weight and keep it off. Don't loose hope people. Being big is not ugly and it's not something to be ashamed of. People come in different colors, and ethnicities... why not shapes and sizes. We all don't want to look like a model... well except for me:) whether it's 10 pounds or 300 pounds, we are still teh same person inside and if people can't see that then who really needs them. Im just here to say if I can loose weight anyone can. It's a very difficult process but once you see it come off, its like a game your playing with yourself to see who will win. Who will win in your game? |

| So today is Feb 3:) I started on Dec 18, I was at 303. Today, I'm at 273... I know! I'ts crazy. I still have alot to loose, but the clothes are looser and people are noticing me. I get compliments all the time. I also think I'm treated better since lossing the weight. It's sad. I'm the same person but yet people treat me better since I'm looking thinner? I'm just as confident as I was when I was 303. Sometime... I think about people who talk to me now... Why didn't they talk to me when I was 303. Specifically someone at work who would not say a hi or a smile to me, now talks to me and smiles. What's the deal? I am fat, but I carry myself well. I don't smell like fried chicken and I don't have sweat stains on my clothes. It just bugs me when people who wouln't give me the time of day before are now talking to me. Anywho... Food! Heres a tip for everyone. I've been buuying Healthy Choice Frozen Dinners. It has a dessert to it and most of them are under 400 cals per box. I skip the dessert because I hate fruit desserts, I like Chocolate and if I'm going to have a dessert, I'm going to splurg, so I skip the serrest and I'm sure the calories are knocked down. But I have a fruit, like an orange or a pear before I have the Healthy Choice and a tall glass of cold water before and after and I'm seriously not hungry and sometime bearly finish the frozen dinner. I've also been having Oatmeal with tons of Cinnamon (shich has no calorie) every morning. This is super duper good because of all the fiber. Started to work out and noticing that my step is faster and I tend to fall asleep and stay asleep more. 273, but I have another 100 at least to loose. If I can do it.. anyone can! The only way you can achieve success when it comes to weight loss is to realize that your NOT on a diet... but a change of life style. You will not be able to do this if others are telling you to do it... you will want to do it for yourself. It's a hard process but you can do it. I can't say that I've losted a significant amount of weight yet.. About 30 pounds in the past month.. but I find that salad are great. I try to keep the mindset that... brakfast, lunch and dinner are meant to feed you. I think in thwe past like everyone, food causes a sense of pleasure. It must taste wonderful and it must look wonderful but I though what about just feeding the void of being hungry and not the void of having something super tastie. When I have my oatmeal in the morning, I'll eat it with some cinnamon and 2 packets of splenda so it's tolerable. sure.. i would love to have some sausage and panckes and yes it will fulfill my hunger but not smart to fill you body with fat and cholestrol. I'm finding that that bowl of oatmeal is just as if not more filling and lowers any cholestrol. it's also a great source of fiber and we all need that. So I take this method with everything I eat. I got fat eating all the wonderful things without thinking about what it was doing to me. I had my fill of the sweets, the savories, the wondefulness that we see on a daily basis, it's time to just eat to fill my hungriness and stop. SInce I'm a guy I my calorie intake is under 1600. and I've worked it so I know on a daily basis without inputting it all in that it's under 1600 everyday and the pounds are sheding. I'm excited! exercise right now is not really a factor yet... I would like to slim down for a while then work on muscles and toning. Good luck and please keep us posted. |

Sorry for my bluntness. I feel bad for you and I doubt you whouyld wait to September. I would go to another hosipital in another town. Your 20.. you have soo much in your life to live for. YOur eventully going to kill yourself before you turn 80 and you might be ther one eating your cat. No joke. Don't wait.. your disorder is going to get worst not better. Talk to your parents. Since you've also been sexually abused.. you do need couselining.. That could be one of the reasons for your stange eating habits. Please help yourself. no one else can do it but you. If you get some help, I'll send you a gift:) just kidding, but seriously. I don't know you from a bag of dog poo... but I feel for you. Take Care. |

| I would find out if they had a nice grilled piece of chicken and steamed or roated veggies, rememebr to drink 1 glass of ice cold water first befor digging into the food and eat slowly...Take care. | |||

| When I had my tonisls out a few years back, I thought I would go on a super low cal diet in which I can drink Jamba Juices.. MMMMM... so for 2 weeks after my throat healed.. I went to get a power size of the P-nut better Mooed.. So delish. I drank that everyday for 2 weeks, And lots of water of course. but none of the pound were going down. It was nice an cold and soothing to the throat... so on a friday I walk in and ask to see the nutrition info and HELLO... 1600 for a syupid drinkkk. rant about that! | |||

| So Im a guy and I was 303... now I'm 293. not too much of a lost but enough for 2 weeks. I have a calorie count of 1400 to 1600 sometimes I go up to 1800 but what I'm doing works. I see some people eat bacon... wow! talk about geting fatter and having a heart attack. Totally not healthy. If your going to put soo much effort into loosing the weight, do it healthy. You don't want to be thin and have a heart attack. I been doing this...
morning: OATMeal... made with water and add some cinnamon.. hell add alot ... Cinnamon has no calories and Oatmael is good for you. low in calorie contect too. so you eat a fat bowl of oatmeal and your what? at 300 to 400? midmorning... two to three glasses of super cold water and a fruit.. an apple or an orange. Afternoon: A green salad with low cal vinergette. Add some baked chicken no skin to it and avacado for the fat.. we all need some fat. Mid afternoon snack: rice cakes, carrots, celery... fruit.. and lots of cold water. Dinner: Stir fried veggies with some protein... like chicke, turkey or lean beef. Lots of water. 10 pounds in 2 weeks. I can't wait to see how much I loose in the next two weeks. Good luck eveyone. |
