My 15 yo son is having a Superbowl party so probably 10-15 boys and girls that are 15/16. I am making a crockpot of chili, make your own sandwiches on "dollar buns", doritos, crackers and cheese and carrots and dip. I will have one small sandwich with mustard and turkey, and a bowl of chili, alreadly know the calories. I will munch on the carrots instead of the doritos. Gooo Patriots.

Every morning for bfast, I have 1/2 cup of egg beaters and a light n fit vanilla yogurt (6 oz) and 1/2 cup of Kashi Go Lean cereal mixed in my yogurt. I also have 1 cup of black coffee with a small amt of sugar free creamer. This meal keeps me very full feeling. It is only 255 calories and a great way to start my day. Some have told me to get rid of the creamer, but it is my treat to start my day off.

Thanks Tracker, They are precious to me. Hey Pam, hope you are feeling better. Just finished dinner after the game, they won so they will be playing for either 1 or 2nd place on Thursday. The Beth Moore study was so great today. Talked about how when we are rejected, we have a hole in us that we often fill with wrong things, and we need to let God heal our rejection other than ignoring it. She is such a good teacher. Deb

Tracker, As you requested, I just added two pictures to my gallery. The one of her, you can't see her dress since as soon as she was crowned, she had a cape on the rest of the night. She is the one on the left, your left. And Jacob is the close one in the picture, isn't he handsome.

Pam, The only reason I lurk and don't post is because I truly was checking in here so often and posting that I felt like I was neglecting the home front. It is much easier to read a post every few days than what I was doing. If I would post, I would want to check often to see if anyone responded so I could converse. My work was also suffering. It should take me 30 mins to do a batch of work, and it was taking close to 40 because I was alwyas on here. For what it is worth, it was very difficult to stay away. My son plays tomorrow at 2, and if they lose they play thurs. am for 3-4th place and if they win they play thurs. p.m. for 1st or 2nd. He is soaking it in. My hubby is bringing him to a post game party as we speak and tomorrow he only has to go to first hour, than a bus is taking the team to Perkins for team bonding than down to the dome. As for my daughter, she was invited to take place in this progam and will be representing our city as royalty. Always in formal gowns and her crown on. Many parades and some community service work. We haven't had our meeting yet to get the calendar. She had to be a good public speaker, poised, smiles all the time and works well with others. She will be taught so much, this program is all about becoming a poised, well behaved young adult that puts others first. The program is very "moral". They have to sign a contract stating they do not drink, smoke, have sex or will live with the opposite sex. They agree not to curse, talk bad of others or gossip at anytime. This is right up her alley. I am very proud of her. As for my youngest, no not the HS, he is only 10. He really struggled with soccer this year but I am glad that I didn't let him quit, he wanted to, I told him he had to stick the season out since I paid for and enrolled him. Towards the end he starting just loving it again and wants to play in the winter. The Beth MOore bs is the fruits of the spirit. We are learning how to live our lives using the fruits of the spirit. She is an awesome teacher, very humorous and down to earth. The best thing about her studies is you really get into the word. Lots of homework. Hope that answers it all. Enough about me, tell me how you are all doing.

Hello to all my dear friends. It has been way to long. I have been so busy and honestly I had been feeling guilty posting on here when I had so many things going on. I reeally felt I had been neglecting my housework and family at times. Well life has been very busy and I have lurked often. I always check the missing son post on the lounge. Pam, how are you feeling. Thanks for checking in on me and you too Tracker. Hope everyone else is doing fine. As some of you will remember, my son made the JV squad for High school soccer and recently was moved up to the Varsity squad. Well now they will be playing in the Metrodome, where the vikings and twins play, for the State Tournament in Soccer. They will at the lowest place 4th, but hopefully will take 1st. Our High school soccer team is ranked #6 in the nation. Then my daughter who has been very busy with 2 jobs, coaching Middle school volleyball and making time for her boyfriend who is 2 hours away at college. She ran for our cities royalty program. Guess what....... she won. There are 3 "royal ambassadors" and she is now one of them. She has a beautiful crown and will be in countless parades and will be getting a college scholarship. This just happened over this weekend. My youngest just finished his soccer season and has kept us busy with lots of friends sleeping over lately. I am still attending a Beth Moore bible study that has been such a learning expercience. Unfortunately I have put 10 pounds back on and really need to get back on track. I miss you all and often lurk when I have time. I will try and come on more often. So what is happening with all of you. Deb

Pam, I am so sorry to hear about Duchess. I have to admit that I am having a hard time coming onto this thread. Probably not what you think. I love this group, it is just that I am very available in the morning, afternoon gets busy and evening for me is family time. I feel very alone in the morning here. Not trying to be selfish, hope to not come across that way. Also lately when I want to come on and share, I have work to do or feel pressured to clean the house and do chores instead. For some reason this has been tearing at me. Don't know how to explain it. I have decided to just come on when I can, but probably not a daily basis. I just started a great bible study and it has lots of homework and I feel that is more where I need to be. I will still be using this site to log calories and what not and who knows, I may be on here and there or join a group that is more active during the day. I hope no offense is taken, I think that is what is tearing at me, that I really don't want to offend anyone as you have all come so dear to me and my heart. Hope everyone understands. Deb

Hello to all: I am on track today. yea. Been to the gym already and feeling good. I went to my new bible study yesterday and thought I would share. It is Beth Moore, living beyond yourslef, exploring the fruit of the spirit. It is a video study with homework. She is super funny. Yesterday during the video, 2 things stood out with me, well mort than that. 1. Because we have the Holy Spirit in us I can DO things I couldn't, I can FEEL things I didn't and I can KNOW things I wouldn't. In Christ we CAN DO what WE can't. 2. A powerful masquerading MISERY MAKER is living inside ourselves. Here is also the word from Joel, off to do my homework. God-Ordained Moments Today's Scripture "For I know the plans I have for you,”declares the Lord”, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). Today's Word from Joel and Victoria God created every one of us to be successful. Before the foundation of the world, He laid out an exact plan for our life. And in this plan, He has marked moments that are going to come across our paths. These moments are not ordinary. They are destiny-altering moments. They are designed to thrust you years ahead. It says in Ecclesiastes that “time and chance come together for every person.” That means you’ll have opportunities to meet the right people, opportunities to advance in your career, opportunities to fulfill your dreams. God has already pre-arranged times of increase and blessing. You may not be seeing a lot of good breaks right now, but let me encourage you; there are seasons of favor and seasons of increase marked for your future. There are God-ordained moments planned out for you. Don’t miss these moments! Don’t stop believing, and don’t get distracted by what’s going on in the world around you. Focus on removing the clutter from your life so that you can hear the still, small voice. Approach today with an attitude of faith and expectancy. As you do, you’ll embrace the God-ordained moments that are ordered for you! A Prayer for Today Father God, thank You for ordering my steps. Thank You for making a way when there seems to be no way. I choose to step out today with faith and expectancy so that You can move in my life. I trust You with my destiny and thank You for fulfilling every desire of my heart today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen |

| Hello all,
I am back. My mom has been back in the hospital. They will be doing several tests today but from what my brother and I can figure out, we think she, some how, got her doctor to prescribe her morphine for her pain, which really messed her up. I think she was overdosing on it. She would pee on her self, couldn't stand or walk, and couldn't speak. My brother called the doctor, he told her to stop taking it and it should be out of her system in 1-4 days. Well on the 6th day, she still couldn't speak, she would basically slur. So she went to the hospital and they think she might have had a small stroke. She has had many strokes. Also life here has been busy and I haven't been sticking to my food and exercise plan at all. I have recommitted starting today. Can't exercise but will stick to my food plan. Haven't been able to read many posts, anything exciting and new with anyone? I will try and post later, gotta get ready for a new bible study at my church. Deb |

| Good morning gang.
I agree with Pam, I really miss you guys. For me, fall is the busy time of the year for my job and both boys are playing fall soccer so that keeps my nights busy so I have to do my work during the dayl. Here is the word from Joel: Your Secret Petitions Today's Scripture ?Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart?(Psalm 37:4 AMP). Today's Word from Joel and Victoria God knows the secret petitions of your heart. He knows every hidden dream He?s placed within you. He knows those things that you haven?t told anybody about. Maybe you thought they would never come to pass, or maybe you buried them because they didn?t happen on your timetable. Maybe, in the natural, you have every reason to give up on those dreams. Be encouraged today?God is still working behind the scenes! He still has a plan to bring those dreams to pass. Do what the verse says, and delight yourself in Him today. That word delight, actually means to make yourself soft and pliable. It paints the picture of God as the Potter and you as the clay. Allow God to mold and shape your character today. Allow Him to direct your plans and ideas. Keep an attitude of faith and expectancy today, and as you submit your ways to the Lord and open your heart to His leading, He will fulfill those secret petitions of your heart! A Prayer for Today Father, You said the path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter. You said no good thing will You withhold because I walk uprightly before You. You said because I delight myself in You, You will give me the secret petitions of my heart. So Father, I thank You today for being in control of my life. Thank You for the good things You have in store for my future. In Jesus? Name. Amen. |

I was just reading a magazine as I was eating my lunch and something popped out at me. I know you haven't been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, but I know many doctors misdiagonse things. They have a new FDA approved chronic pain killer out to treat all over achy conditions that are associated with this disease. It is called Lyrica. You should ask your doctor about it. Deb |

| Good morning,
sorry to hear about your son Kaleb. To me that is the worst a parent can experience. Just remember that a child that is trained up in the Lord WILL return. Psalm, hope you are able to get access soon. we miss you. Yesterday I bought and ate a new apple. It is called a zestar apple, bred right here in MN. I felt guilty, it tasted like candy. Going back to strore today after workout and buying more. Yummy. Here is the word from Joel: Step Out of the Boat Today's Scripture ?And Peter answered Him, ?Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.? He said, ?Come!? So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water, and he came toward Jesus? (Matthew 14:28-29 AMP). Today's Word from Joel and Victoria Why do you suppose Peter wanted to get out of the boat? Why did he all of the sudden think he could walk on water? Well, you might say, ?Joel, it?s because he saw Jesus open the blind eyes and cleanse the lepers.? Yes, that?s true. But the other disciples in the boat saw the same things. Why didn?t they want to get out? I believe it was because Peter understood that it was his time. He stirred his faith up. He believed at that moment that he could do what God placed in his heart. Jesus said, ?Peter, do you want to get out of that boat?? He said, ?Yes, I do.? Jesus replied, ?Well, come on out.? Notice that Jesus didn?t say, ?Peter, stay in that boat. Don?t you know I?m the Son of God?? No. He said, ?Peter, I like your attitude of faith. I like the fact that you believe you can do great things.? I encourage you today to have that same kind of boldness. Start believing that your time is here! All the dreams that you?ve buried, those desires that you thought would never work out, it?s time to start believing again. It?s your time, and it?s time to step out of the boat! A Prayer for Today Dear Father, today I choose to believe Your Word. I believe You are faithful to complete the good work You?ve started in my life. I choose to hear Your voice and step out of the boat. Thank You for bringing to pass the dreams in my heart. In Jesus? Name. Amen. |

| Good Monday morning everyone:
Busy weekend with 2 soccer games, lawn mowing and grocery shopping and hubby at reserves. I don't drink milk, never have like it since I was a kid, ok chocolate milke is good. here is the word from Joel: The Land of Hope Today's Scripture ?I?ve pitched my tent in the Land of Hope? (Acts 2:26 Message). Today's Word from Joel and Victoria Where have you pitched your tent today? What are you expecting to happen in your life? What kind of attitude do you have? If you?re focused on what?s wrong, or what?s not working, it?s time to dig up your tent stakes! It?s time to pack up your belongings and move out of the land of discouragement. Move out of the ?Not-going-to-happen? sub-division. Move out of ?Can?t-do-it-ville.? It?s time to leave ?Self-pity Estates.? Get out of those areas and move into the land of hope, faith, and expectation. Maybe you don?t quite know how to get there, but now?s the time to start looking for that new place. Open your heart to the Lord and ask Him to direct your thoughts and expectations. The Bible says that those who hope in the Lord will never be put to shame. You can trust God to order your steps. You can trust Him to move you from the land of disappointment to the land of hope today! A Prayer for Today Heavenly Father, thank You for ordering and directing my steps. Thank You for taking me to the land of hope! I release all my past hurts and disappointments to You today and ask that You fill me with Your faith and expectancy for a bright future! In Jesus? Name, Amen |

| Good Sat. Morning everyone.
Sorry I have been absent lately. Just very busy time of the year. I have to leave in 10 mins. for a soccer game. My son hurt his back at his last game and today woke up with heartburn symptoms. I googled and think it is related to hurting his back. He told his coach he might not be able to play much, his coach said they really need him, so we'll see how it goes. I want him to be safe and well, but I know he will try and play as much as he can. Went to a ladies night at our church and it was very nice. Been going to this church for about 10 months or so but havent' gotten plugged in. I signed up for a womens Bible Study on Tuesday mornings, so hopefully I will meet some new, nice women. Just said a prayer for Chris and his family. |

| Hi everyone,
Just quicky checking in. I thought my days would be freer when the kids are off, but lately I have been a lot busier trying to get everything done while they are gone. Getting ready to go to a soccer game at 4 and a volleyball game at 7. Here is the word from Joel: Free from Condemnation Today's Scripture ?Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live and walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit? (Romans 8:1 AMP). Today's Word from Joel and Victoria When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are free from condemnation! Is there something that you feel guilty about? If you have repented, the Bible says He takes your sin and throws it as far as the east is from the west. He casts your sins into the sea of forgetfulness. God actually chooses to forget your sins! That means your sins are completely removed. In fact, they aren?t even yours anymore. Don?t let the enemy dig up your past or try to make you feel guilty for something that happened a long time ago, or even yesterday. The enemy is called the ?accuser of the brethren?, and he works overtime to bring you down with false accusations. Be confident that God doesn?t remember your past. You are free from condemnation through the blood of Jesus Christ. The next time the enemy brings up your past, declare that you are free from condemnation in Jesus? Name! A Prayer for Today Heavenly Father, thank You for setting me free in Jesus! Thank You for forgiveness. Thank You washing me clean and making me new today. I receive your grace and mercy so that I can be a vessel used by You today. In Jesus? Name. Amen. |

| Good morning everyone. Hope you are getting some relief Pam. As always, you are in my prayers.
the kids are back to school. My oldest 2 leave at 7:10 than my youngest leaves at 9:10. My afternoon is pretty screwy too. My oldest doesn't get home until 5 since she is coaching at the Middle School, my oldest son either stays for soccer practice until 5 or I have to pick him up at 2:30 and bring him back for his games. Some times he is home for 1/2 hour sometimes 1 1/2 hours. I then have to pick up my youngest at 4:00. We live within 2 miles from the school so we don't get bussing. My youngest is 1.8 miles from the school and I am nervous letting him ride his bike alone, so I ride with him. My oldest one drives but sometimes I have to pick the middle one up if she is busy. My cold if finally leaving my body, I'm feeling much better but not quite 100% yet. Hope to hear how you all are. Here is the word from Joel Release the Debt Today's Scripture ?Do not say, ?I?ll do to him as he has done to me; I?ll pay that man back for what he did?? (Proverbs 24:29). Today's Word from Joel and Victoria Is there someone in your life who has wronged you? Maybe a family member didn?t treat you right, or a boss was unfair. The Bible tells us that we need to release and forgive others so God can forgive us. If we harbor unforgiveness or bitterness towards anyone, God cannot forgive us. He cannot even hear our prayers. Forgiveness starts with a decision. It doesn?t mean you excuse another person?s behavior; it only means that you are releasing the debt they owe you. Forgiveness puts God in charge of that situation instead of you. A true sign that you have forgiven is that when you think about the other person, or see them somewhere, you are at peace. The Bible says that we should also pray for those who may be against us. Pray that God will change that person?s heart. As you release the debt of others, God will release you, and you will walk in freedom and peace in every area of your life. A Prayer for Today Father in Heaven, I humbly come to You and ask You to show me any unforgiveness that may be in my heart. I forgive and release the debt of others so that You can forgive me. I bless Your Holy Name today. In Jesus? Name. Amen. |

| Oh, and here is the word from Joel:
Speak What You Seek Today's Scripture ?And God said, 'Let there be light', and there was light? (Genesis 1:3). Today's Word from Joel and Victoria God wanted there to be light, so He spoke it into existence. He wanted there to be water, land, and plants, so He declared them to be. Did you know, as a believer, that same creative power lives inside of you by the Holy Spirit? What are you speaking into existence in your life? Are you declaring the truth of God's Word that says you are the head and not the tail - that you are above only and not beneath? Listen to the words that come out of your mouth and speak what you seek! If you seek good health, declare that God is your Healer and that you will live strong and healthy all the days of your life. If you need provision for something, declare that God is your Provider. Be proactive and speak peace into your home. Speak God's protection over your family. Speak favor over your job. Decide and declare that today will be your best day to the Glory of God! A Prayer for Today Father in Heaven, today I submit my words to You. I invite You to search my mind and heart so that I may speak Your truth. Teach me what to say so that I can live the life of victory You have in store for me today. In Jesus' Name. Amen. |

| Opps I forgot to add the word from Joel:
Seek First the Kingdom Today's Scripture ?But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His Kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides? (Matthew 6:33 AMP). Today's Word from Joel and Victoria What are you aiming at and striving for in life today? Are you seeking first His Kingdom? The Bible says that His Kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. When you seek righteousness, which is God?s way of doing things, you are seeking the Kingdom. When you seek peace, both in your heart and in your relationships with others, you are seeking the Kingdom. When you choose joy and invite the Holy Spirit to direct your steps, you are seeking the Kingdom. And just as this verse says, when you make God?s Kingdom a priority, all things will be given to you. What are all things? That?s everything else. That?s provision. That?s health. That?s strength. That?s direction. If you?ve been putting other things first, make the decision right now to change and seek God?s way. Put His Kingdom first. As you do, you?ll begin to experience fulfillment and peace in every area of your life! A Prayer for Today Heaven Father, thank You for Your Kingdom which is righteousness, peace, and joy. I choose to seek Your Kingdom today. I choose to seek Your way of doing things. I invite You, Holy Spirit, to direct my steps and keep me close to You always. In Jesus? Name, Amen |

It is wonderful to wake up and not have to put on my reading glasses for the first hour. My eyes feel wonderful. Yea. Tracker, Great information. I recently read somewhere that taking extra potassium helps negate high blood pressure. I have been taking a supplement for almost 1 week now. Chubbs, Go girl at your 5 mile run. It sounds like you are doing great on your weight also. I personally love Garlic, my husband says he can smell me coming whenever I eat it, he says it seeps out of my pores. Last night we had pizza and I tried a new one on the family Freschetta Brick square pizza. It was very garlicky. I always have the Frescetta personal pepperoni thin crust. It satisfies my pizza craving and the whole this is 350 calories. I however had one small piece of the other one just to get a taste. Hi to everyone else. Please all you newcomers come on back and chat with us. |
